My friend wrote Crystal Place asking about their being put on Casinomeisters rouge list. Below is a copy of the letter he received from Oliver Curran.

Dear Chris,

Thank you for contacting Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace is an operation that has existed now for quite some time in a very competitive business environment. If we were to avoid paying our legitimate players, as the Casino Meister suggests, then we simply would not be able to survive. The fact is that legitimate players at Crystal Palace are paid extremely promptly.

If you intend to join Crystal Palace to abuse our promotions, then my suggestion would be that you play elsewhere. The fact that you even read the Casino Meister forum indicates to me that, like the majority of people who read that site, you are not the caliber of player we are interested in having as a member.

If however you are a legitimate player who enjoys gambling regularly, then you can be assured we will provide you with many free comps on a regular basis and will pay you out when you win as fast as, if not faster than, any other online casino.

If you have any further questions regarding our site, then please feel free to contact me again.

is unbelievable! I think what is most scary, is that the guy apparently can't even read! Here is what he says in his response above:

Then, to go on and say this:
The fact that you even read the Casino Meister forum indicates to me that, like the majority of people who read that site, you are not the caliber of player we are interested in having as a member.

Shows what a truly ignorant man(?) this person is. The translation to what he is saying would be something like this:

"The fact that you even attempt to keep yourself educated on issues of casino abuse and fraud tells me that you're not someone we want for a customer."

:lolup: What a moron! But, hey- maybe this is the closest thing to an honest statement that this idiot has made in quite some time! Crystal Palace should be extremely proud to have such a front man for their casino! Tells you what type of people run this one, huh???!

Like I mentioned in the "not recommended" section, I have been assured he will pay legitimate winnings. This is not merely from his word (which I generally don't accept as a precaution due to his past history), but by RTG. Warren is walking on thin ice at the moment and he knows it. It could take perhaps one case of a player being stiffed at his casinos to get his plug yanked. I've mentioned this before.

Warren knows that it could take one phone call--and he's history.

Most players who have problems at his casinos have run into these problems via bonuses; they get fingered as a "beater" and are tossed out. Most managers have certain policies concerning bonus abuse and are quick to ban these players, BUT these sort of policies are abused at many casinos in the manager's favor. It seems that this is the case at Warren Cloud's casinos.

I give him credit for answering a number of complaints that were lodged via Casinomeister's "Pitch a Bitch"; some actually were resolved in the player's favor, but the majority were deemed "beaters". There are two that he has refused to answer. I'm still collecting more information on these before it may be necessary to place him in full-blown "rogue" status.

As for Oliver's comment "The fact that you even read the Casino Meister forum indicates to me that, like the majority of people who read that site, you are not the caliber of player we are interested in having as a member." is another ill-thought out comment that will surely backfire on him. Besides players from all walks of life, the people who "read" this site include software provider CEOs, casino operators, managers, the press, and other significant industry persons. This site's primary function is to bring people the news and information about casino operations good and bad. It's a shame that the individuals behind Crystal Palace just don't get this.

What can we do to get this "one phone call" made so that we can go back to playing in these casinos without worry?
 
It needs to be a clear cut case of a non-payment with no chance of the casino to dance around any vague rules of promo-abuse or whatever. As soon as a "promo" or "bonus" enters the equation, the upperhand belongs to the casino.

I believe Warren is too slick to allow this to occur. Since he knows once this happens he's out of a job.
 
He would probably just pick another alias, another software provider and a new casino and would carry on abusing the playing public. Look at his past history...

Which I responded to: This indicates to me that you or "Oliver" routinely lie as part of your business. You know I didn't send you any emails except the ones from my Casinomeister account. There is no reason why I would need to bring attention to any rogue listing except through my own resources; newsletter, webcast, hard print articles, and forum members.

Today's webcast should be up within the hour.

If that were the case, then they would actually pay people that followed their T&C to the letter, instead of claiming the FU clause for the sole reason that they won too much. ;)

So when you go to the ICE-meeting's etc, have you ever come across Oliver or any other casino manager's from the rouged casino's ?... if so how do the conversations go??.

Do you go with a list of customer complaints and lug them on his lap????..
I bet this is where the real conversations take place....

I've never met Warren Cloud even though he has been known to show his face at come conferences - industry, never an affiliate one. "Oliver Curran" is not a real person - it's a persona than the casino uses for a casino manager.

I've met rogue casino operators pretty much on a normal basis. Virtual Casinos for example. I got fed up with those guys from their "we've gotten better" mantra. They are perfectly aware of the problems the have of non-payments, so I never have to dump anything in anyone's lap :D

It's the players who keep these guys in business, so perhaps there should be a player conference instead. That's where the real conversations should take place. Any player who patronizes these business is a major part of the problem.
 
Nobody has mentioned the most important part of the mythical Oliver Currans statement.. people that read this forum won't play at his casinos

Yes well by the looks of Oliver's email that he has a big dislike for Casinomeister. You can tell this site, Bryan and casinomeisters posse of excellent webmaster's and people that know the game have had an impact on him and the casino's he manages.

This is just ONE person that asked a question to Oliver as they have seen complaints in regards to the casino.
That person will now tell 10 people about this, we have told at least 10 people about this, hopefully a few hundred have read this thread and seen what Oliver has written and will now think twice and go tell 10 people.

The real question is how the hell do you stop the noobies from signing up at these rouged shit holes....
 
So any of you that read the link I posted will have noticed that this person plays on his own poker site under the alias "iceice". Besides this being highly unacceptable to me, his poker site is also not affiliated to any of the bodies that police the online gaming industry! My issue with him is that here in South Africa he is doing a roaring trade as no-one has been aware of his past. I also find him to be very arrogant as he just locked my friends account because she was chatting to someone that was sitting at the same table as him on his site and she obviously rejected his butting into the conversation (without the use of any foul language or anything). Suddenly the little pop-up appeared on her screen saying that her account had been locked! What an arrogant @#%^&. There have also been issues with people battling to get their money out of silversands poker (from what I read on the local forums) or having to fill in endless forms and getting every excuse in the book as to why they have to wait long for their cash outs!

Anyway, I have am not sure if you have silversands casino listed as one of his rogue casino's but he also owns www.silversandspoker.com and www.jackpotcash.com. Perhaps these could be added to the already long list of his casinos that you have.

That way try opening the eyes of my fellow South Africans by referring them straight to your list.

I hate the injustice of what happened to my friend and hate the fact that this person (cannot call him a man) has a "god-complex" and thinks he is superior to everyone else just because he has a bit of money behind his name! He is unethical and should not be allowed to trade!!!!!!!!!!!!:axeman2:
