OKPay funding/documents approval

So much for this then. Utilities are in my husbands name. I sent in drivers. Now I wish I would not have sent that at all! It seems strange to me they want so much information.
No way Im renewing a passport I will never use. Makes me wonder if they are forging passports in real peoples names. Sorry , just too many alarm bells.

I didn't have any trouble getting my account verified but after several weeks, did get rejected for the debit card.

I think what we are all missing here is that the debit card is being issued by a foreign bank. OKPay is not issuing the card. Can you image a foreign bank getting all these requests from US citizens for a debit card, prepaid or otherwise. I can just see some teller going WTH?

Ive been using okpay now for over a year.. When I win I withdraw to okpay- i leave some in to play with again the rest I transfer to my debit card - i then go to ATM and withdraw cash in hand with in an hour.. Ive done 3000 5000 2200 withdrawals on debit card and I have never had any problems. I'm in USA. I have also used debt card at Target and various stores only issue was once I had a return it took 30 days for the money to be put back on card. other then that I love my Okpay acct/debit card. Ive won at 3dice. get it transferred and cash in hand with in the hour.

I understand what you are saying. It is a MasterCard being backed by UWCFS Bank and yes it is an international bank. I am not too familiar with the ins and outs so to speak, but no problems whatsoever, as of yet

After you have had your info stolen from a payment processor, you would understand. See old thread on payment processors.

Well after 12 documents, 4 trips to the local copy store, $35, and 2 unsuccessful applications I got an email from OKpay that I have been approved for the plastic debit card.

I guess if you really want it-don't give up. Keep asking questions about what it is they are looking for as acceptable verification docs.

I did not go out and get a passport. The most recent info I know is that they are temporarily allowing your DL as a form of personal id. Don't know how long that will be the case.

This morning I went and looked around okpay and couldn't find a way to get money in there. I did see Western Union or Money Gram but it was in another currency? And another way of depositing, I forget now said...I had to be verified. (I think) It was early this morning, lol.

I've used a Wire transfer once, UKash voucher another time, and Money Gram another time, all 3 options have worked well

I just went and looked. A wire transfer is only for the verified, (at least on my page) didn't see UKash and my moneygram was in another currency as I said.

Weird how things are different for different people. Not sure yet if I want to become verified.

Just to post an update on the plastic debit card. It has been over 3 weeks since I was approved. In my account status on their website it says the card has been shipped.


Your Debit Card has been produced and shipped by the delivery option you have chosen


I will post when/if I have it in my hands.

Probably should post another update also: I am currently at 4+ weeks waiting to get the OKpay debit card in the mail.

Went round and round with them to explain why I don't receive mail at my residence. Guess where they sent it.

Did a little investigating during my lunch.

In order to fund Okpay through Moneygram it is a minimum of a $100 purchase and it takes 2 business days in order to complete the transaction. I didn't completely follow through with it but I am not too sure about sending $100 to Yuri who lives in the Ukrainistan.

I have never actually funded my OKPay account. The CW group will let you withdraw to it even though you haven't used it for depositing. So I deposit via card and withdraw via OKPay.

I'm not going to get a card because it's too much a pain in behind. It's just one more thing for gov. to get nosy with.

I can tell you that withdrawing to OKPay for me has been almost instant. Withdrew last night before midnight from Buzzluck, in my account this morning.

I'm not telling you what to do but I'm doing fine with this so far. We shall see.

If you want to fund Okpay through your checking account via outgoing wire transfer, according to my bank (top 3 in US) it will cost $45 to send an outgoing wire plus OK charges a minimum of $12

Your OKPAY debit card was sent on November 26. Shipping time for a post mail delivery varies, usually it takes 2-3 weeks.
Delivery time is approximate; we are not liable for any late deliveries. We are also not liable for the parcel lost during the shipping or delivery.

Usually you can expect a card to be delivered within a maximum period of 2 month. If the card hasn't been delivered during 2 month you can consider it lost.


IMO OKpay has not really proved to be anything but a headache.

I know right? It's like they absolve themselves from any responsibility. Bottom line is they don't care if you are a customer, nor are they interested in helping explain how to fund the account.

IMO any casino that is touting this as a method for depositing would be doing themselves a HUGE service by explaining the ways in which to fund the account.

It is clear that OKpay has no interest in servicing their customers.

i signed up for this method and stoped completely with the red tape. to much hassle and i dont trust my cking account to this method. and everytime i read a post it seems its all negative. except one or two people who actually managed with out a problem. i doubt id be that lucky to sail on thru. so i decided not to even send in any of my personal information.

It Only Took 8 Weeks LOL

I promised my friends here that I would update this thread when I received the plastic debit card.

It only took 8 weeks including them sending to the wrong address.

I had to re-prove my PO Box address and upload MORE documents before they would resend, but got it today.

Too bad I am not playing much these days.

I know I went through all that back in October/November. They were "temporarily" accepting DL when I complained about not having a passport.

Not sure which casino you play at but I was able to get the Clubworld reps here at CM (Karolina) to talk to OKpay for me about the difficulties of proving ID. That seemed to help greatly.

Hope you are able to get it straightened out-I know how frustrating it is

I don't know if things have changed recently in the verification process. As long as you have good quality scanned documents getting verified for an account didn't take too long. Maybe a week IIRC.

It was getting verified for the debit card that was the nightmare. Last I heard it takes a passport now for personal id verification.

Maybe someone else who is currently trying to get verified can add some new info.

Pretty sure I saw several people post that they got their funds wired to their bank. I didn't want to do it that way because my bank charges $40 for incoming wire fee.

It's been several months since I had a wire sent to my bank but it took around 3 days to hit my bank after I requested it. Went very easy with no questions asked.

As far as the verification process, I had been verified for months so I didn't have any trouble. But clear documents and send what they asked for, you should be fine.

I don't have a debit card because I didn't want to wait on getting it. Got a wire quicker than waiting on a card. LOL!

Okpay Card is AWESOME. I found an ATM that pays my withdrawal fees . Okpay charges a few dollars to load it. And within an hour or 2 its ready to spend. I wished more casinos would use OKPAY. It would be the next coming of Neteller.

I tried to get a debit card a couple of weeks ago, they wanted a passport. I don't have one and don't have a need for one and not paying to get one. The fees are crazy on the wire transfer (at least to me). I prefer to pay $9 and do paymycard or a check.
