Ok so a month ago I won around 6k thru Sunrise slots and I have deposited both crypto and USD thru my debit card and they drug it out until I eventually put most of my winnings on the PLAYERS REWARD CARD and ended up of courses losing it all. Well about 4 days ago I cashed out $900 and they required me yo send in ALL of my information yet again and I did. I was trying to cash out thru my crypto wallet, but they say it was to be a bank wire since my money was won off of my debit card purchase, but I also deposited with bitcoin the same day. I read all the rules and terms and conditions and I didn’t see anything about how you get your money cashed out. I just need some guidance, please

Assuming you are from California, I did not think it was possible to deposit at an online casino in the US using a debit card. Of course, I am aware that online casinos are taking money off US players every day, Bovada, Betonline, WildCasino etc, however, I thought that VISA and Mastercard could not process the payments. So what am I missing?

Also, no unlicensed casino taking US players needs to ID anyone. This is just a way of getting you to play your money back through while they mess you around. They take what is going on in the regulated world and pretend it applies to them.

I’m from North Carolina and yes I did deposited with my VISA debit card at sunrise slots many times and yes I keep getting the run around. I’m still kind of new at this, I’ve only been playing for about 2 years and I’m not sure of all the ins and outs which is why I came here to hopefully get some assistance

What you are experiencing is completely illegal. Visa should not be allowing you to deposit there and Sunrise slots should not be able to process the transaction. This is not your fault by the way, but you will likely find that your bank statement possibly says something like 'Egyptian Rug wholesaler' or some other crap to pretend your deposits are completely unconnected to gambling.

As for your crypto deposits, that is a different issue, much harder to trace or deal with.

All that making you send in your ID and checks they did was completely irrelevant, Sunrise slots are not licensed to take bets from players in North Carolina or anywhere else in the US. It appears you are being tricked by this company so that you spend every last penny and crypto coin you have with them.

Yeah, sucks I get it.

1. My first bit of advice you are not going to like, but I will put it here. You need to get up to speed with what the rules on online gambling are in your State/Country. I can't point you to a good resource, you will need to do some research here.

2. Speak to your bank. Tell them that they have allowed you to deposit at an online casino, when it in fact it is illegal to do so in your state. If you make enough fuss they may return all your deposit money (FIAT) to make it go away. They are at fault here.

3. Leave a

- I wouldn't normally recommend this, but Sunrise slots seem to be reacting to negative reviews on this platform. Maybe it can lead to them sorting out your problem. At least you would be warning others.

4. You can Submit a complaint here at Casinomeister. Our team is inundated at the moment, but they will get to your complaint when they can. I would be looking at 2 and 3 first.

@conker what do I do? I also posted a screenshot, were you able to see it?
Hey @wender001 we can only do so much. My job here is to help operate a busy forum with multiple things going on throughout the day. I have given you some advice and there will no doubt be a few others along soon that can give you some more tips. However, there is a limit to what we can do.

We see this every day. It's horrible to hear that players are being tricked by companies that exist purely to extract as much money off people as they can. But we must engage the part of our brain that uses caution and does research before spending money with casinos operating in States where online gambling is not legal.

Ok, I’ll do that today!! Is it going to be possible for me to get my money do you think?
You may have to kick and scream a bit, but there is a chance. Remember that these companies do not want bad press. Accepting online gambling payments in North Carolina is a really bad look for VISA.

In reality though, I have no idea what the outcome will be, all you can do is try.

You’re absolutely right! But I guess I was just assuming that being my payment with thru that it was somehow some way legit (dumbass me) but I appreciate your advice and I did post on Trustpilot about 5 minutes ago.

I'm in the US and I use my Visa/MC all the time. I don't have issues with the casinos I play at though. I always request payout via Bitcoin, regardless of how I deposited, although I do use Bitcoin quite a bit to deposit as well.

They told informed me that if I won my money because of a debit card deposit then that’s the way I have to cash out..bullsh*t!! These people are on some bs
Yes, unfortunately it appears you picked the wrong casino to try your luck at, sorry to hear that. For some reason I was thinking casinos stopped doing payouts by putting them back on the CC used to deposit. Like that raises red flags at Visa/MC when it's done. I guess it's been years since I did a payout in any way other than BC.

Suggesting that someone that who has lost money gambling online in a State where it is not legal that they 'picked the wrong casino' is bad advice in my opinion. This does not let this person know that they are taking a huge risk with their money every time they go to gamble online.

Go play at social casinos if you want to play slots or better still get in your car and drive to your local casino and gamble there. I am sure you can probably play sweepstakes for the time being, before the law changes on them.

We get people coming on the forum, week in, week out, freaking out because they have lost thousands of dollars playing at online clip joints. If you are playing at real money online casinos in the US and you are not in a State where online gambling is legal, then you are taking a big risk with your money.

My apologies, you're 100% correct.

There is a UK business called 'Bold Threads' that does mail order T-shirts etc. so either it's a spoof of their business name without the 's' OR the people they import from are letting their payment account be used by scam casinos.

But it's as bent as a bottle of cheese puffs either way.

As a player also from North Carolina (Durham), I would suggest NEVER using a CC to make a deposit. I play strictly with crypto and it makes depositing and withdrawing much less risky. Be aware... like @conker said, because of our location and NC law, online gambling will always be a risk. What I try to do is minimize that risk as much as possible. If you need more info on the "least risky" way to use crypto, you can find threads here on the forum or feel free to PM me.

I realize what i just said doesn't help you in your current situation so let me ask the dumb question... why can't you just collect via bank wire? If its an ACH, you could set up a routing and account nember for your PayPal account or something like that if you have reservations about using your bank.

Again... PM me if you would like to, I've been playing for 15+ years and have seen my share of issues lol. I'd love to help you any way I can
