p.s. You dont even have to have a good memory as a Prime MInister anymore or write a compelling speech, it's all laid out on the teleprompter for you :)

Absolutely - who wants to walk around with a 20 quid note on their person, that has been in the back pocket of some sweaty geezer from Milton Keynes, populating it with various bacterium? Not me! :p

Get with the times, you don't need to worry about bacteria from recycled notes anymore, nor peanuts at the bar, the only diseases you need to concern yourself with now are the man-made lockdown type :)
 
I want to time travel! Not sure what year, must be after 71 as that's when the half P came in, I'd guess between 1975-77. [10% VAT started in '73]

Wimpy was like posh food for poor people. How the elite would scoff, but a Wimpy once a year and you were virtually middle class.

That menu looks delicious. Kind of ruined it with The Bender though. What an unfortunate name in the 80s.

While I have the stage, we need more people like Flight Lieutenant Pollock
