The vast majority of illegal immigrants and smuggled drugs come through the normal entry points. Plus the US has already about 1,000 miles with a wall or high fence structure. Those were the areas where it was deemed necessary. More walls will have little to no impact, CBP agents, Mexican smugglers, experts - all say it.
- Mr. T wants to spend 25 Billion because he promised it to his base as he has built up an atmosphere of fear against everything that is not 100% white - e.g. illegal aliens, terrorists, Muslims, etc.
- At the same time, he freezes wages for federal workers, saying the US budget does not allow it. That's the very same people who patrol the border, chase illegal aliens inside the US, hunt down terrorists etc.
- Plus he cut already significantly the education budget.
So is that a president who wants the best for the US???
One of the best examples of his actions where it tries to spin it in a way that he is doing such great things is NAFTA.
- he announces with big fanfare that he signed a new deal with Mexico, the best, most sophisticated ever in the world!! He hasn't, it is only a preliminary agreement with little to no changes when you read through the blueprint Lightizer released
- at the same time, he blasts Canada for agricultural tariffs and threatens to leave them out. First the systems are totally different, Canada is working with a quota system and the US is subsidizing its farmers directly. So the latter overproduce by a lot and Canada will not allow more in without high tariffs as that would destroy the quota system. But Mr. T never mentions that about 73% of US farming is subsidized, he only mentions how bad the Canadian system is in his narrow view.
- Mexico stated multiple times that they will not sign without Canada.
- He threatens auto tariffs and with other things on his friendly neighbour which is the biggest export market for the US.
So is he working in the best interest of the US? Hardly.
Mr. T thinks everything he does deserve an A+, is the best, biggest, most tremendous ever. So he is not taking any criticism, no matter how constructive it is.
- Google "Velshi&Ruhle Tax Cut" and listen to how they dissected the legislation constructively. Velshi is a former Wall Street banker, so she was all-in for the tax cut. Did anyone listen or did Mr. T slam them as useless? - just one example
- When the news came out that the Puerto Rico death toll was revised to some 3,000, Mr. T said: "We did a fine job".
So will he accept constructive criticism? Certainly not.
As for racist, we talked rather fiercily in the other thread about the first year's picture with his interns and there were three non-whites on it. He got a lot of criticism for that. Now, look at the picture for the second year interns, which BTW, the White House simply did not publish or release. You can see the reason as you might need a magnifying glass to find non-whites.

. Any more doubts that he isn't a pure racist? The US population is about 50% white and 50% other colors and ethnicities. Please try and find the non-whites in the pic. You can also compare it to Bush's and Obama's interns to see the difference.
