On Monday evening, federal officers fired tear gas to disperse large crowds of protesters - some armed with hammers - who had gathered outside the city's courthouse and were throwing projectiles. [bbc]

Mr Wolf also denied claims that the security officers had no identification and insisted they were wearing insignia showing they were police.

"These officers are not military, they are civilian police officers," he said, adding that they were required to restore order following "violent criminal activity every single night for 52 nights" and in response to "a lack of action from city officials".

From a law enforcement point of view, the govt do need to pinpoint and arrest antifa commanders or those that are the most active in starting off destruction and attacks now [agitators] Because come November if Trump were to win, it will be they that start preparing the molotov cocktails and planning public disturbances all over again.

Whereas if the people are on bail, or going through the legal system, then there is less chance of them being involved in causing trouble, so it is getting ahead of the curve.

edit: there is an election coming, democracy is the only solution to political/social issues surely, so get involved in that lawful process rather than violence and promoting anarchy.

Not sure trying to put together a last minute presidential campaign is a good idea for someone who's had a previous mental breakdown. A choice between an ego maniac in trump, forgetful biden or rapper kanye as president is dysfunctional to say the least

I don't know much about kanye really, never heard one of his tracks, but recently read his mother was a college professor who once taught english at a chinese university, and lived out there with 10yr old kanye for a year, so that's not typical of your average rapper background I would've thought.

I think he could end up sectioned for his own safety.

Don't get me wrong, the wrongdoers need to be arrested. BUT not by (federal) officers without badge or tag and just put in an unmarked van taken to who the fuck knows where. Then when they ask for a lawyer they're suddenly put on the street just like that.

I'm no fan of a police state running roughshod over people's rights so it is tricky, however US citizens in general have a lot more freedom to protest and hold peaceful rallies than those in many other countries.

The local police have effectively been stood down by the mayor/governers, just let the rioters do their thing, so then the federal govt has a duty to step in and protect citizens and business owners, who otherwise may be targeted and become victims of rioter's crime.

I would not say the events/actions in this video constitute part of a citizen's normal rights.

These aren't peaceful protesters standing up for a cause, they're thugs with hammers acting like trash.

Decent people's rights to feel safe supersedes these wankers' 'rights' to cause carnage and fear

I sincerely hope the worst of these morally-devoid gutter trash have the book thrown at them, in a time where as mentioned lawlessness is encouraged by these......mayors? (is that what they are? lol) and......'governors'? or whatever the f*ck they purport to be

So yes, send in the federal officers, the more the merrier! I'll be sat on the sidelines, cheering

why's he doing this to himself, talking about digging yourself into a deeper hole
When i did my tests for ADD i had to remember shapes.
Doctor came in and showed me a paper with similar to these figures, and asked me to look at it for two minutes.
hh.webp

Like 30 minutes later he asked me if i could remember the shapes he showed me.
K- Yes of course i do.
D -Good. I want you to draw the third one from the left.
K - :what:

Still think that part of the test was a bit crap.
I mean, i would barely be able to draw the figures even if i had the paper in front of me while i did it.

Those are his accomplishments...identifying an elephant, bringing back incandescent light bulbs, not needing to flush the toilet 10 times, drinking water with one hand. And that guy has the codes for nuclear weapons (which he wants to use to control the weather).

FFS, it's a cognitive test not an IQ test
passing with flying colours isnt exactly something to be brag-worthy about, it should be the baseline lol not a grand accomplishment

“I think he’s thinking of it like some sort of IQ test or SAT test, something along those lines. But it’s not anything like that. It’s just basic,” said Dr. Raymond Turner, professor of neurology and director of Georgetown University’s Memory Disorders Program. “It’s kind of a low bar to jump over. It’s not necessarily something to brag about unless you are worried about decline or something.”

Even hearing him talk about the test is excruciatingly painful. It's like engaging with a village idiot. This mans the president. It is terrifying !! Yes he is only president because Hilary is also a complete nightmare but how did he get so far in first place. America is a strange scary place.

The second i turn my back on this thread you start talking shit about me.
You are lucky i dont understand how the report-function works.

Should've built it with bricks...

To be fair, it was impossible to predict there would be weather outside.
Now they know, so they can build the next wall under ground.
That way wind wont affect it at all.

Also, just saw this and thought it was a bit funny.
=)

A president typing this . Can't his people stop him lol

Yes of course they look for anything bad and you little Donald provide them with a billion bad, idiotic things a day !! Including this Twitter rant.

It should be illegal for you to post on Twitter Trumpy . it would seriously help you so pass it as law lol.

"President Trump is committed to protecting the rights of all Americans to express their views and not face unjustified restrictions or selective censorship from a handful of powerful companies,"

well, unless you say mean things about him that gives him inside boo-boos

Ok so Trump's upset at Social Media censoring Free Speech

Advertizers are boycotting Social Media until Hate Speech is moderated better by them

Solution? Shorten Tweets from 280 words to 3!

This way, when Trump rallies others, he can type

1) Let's build a

2) Make America Great

3) CNN covfefe is

I think it would make sense to postpone the election until all 328,000,000 US citizens are vaccinated and can then go out and about safely, including to vote, without risking their lives. This would clearly be the humanitarian thing to do, if the democrats believe in the benefit of strict lockdowns they have to be consistent and not cherry pick what suits them.

Trump fails his response to Covid so he should be rewarded with extra time as a president? Love your logic :P They just need to do mail-in voting since there's no evidence of major fraud. But there are some problems with postal office now too since Trump loyalist is screwing things up there too...probably intentionally.
Feels like Putin gave Trump plenty of advices how to rig the election :P

democrat run new york failed regarding covid, they had the biggest death rate I believe? Trump can't micro manage the response in all 50 states, clinton lover fauci has had a big say in everything, so he deserves a big kick up the ass too.

You do know that come January, if there haven't been elections, Nancy Pelosi will be President until there have been elections?
