Was looking at some flashlights earlier.. Figured it would be fun to have a decent one for once, so i was looking at a bunch of different brands.
And there are some pretty high powered ones out there nowadays.

Now the problem... This is a picture i just took, its now 02:30 and its not getting any darker than this.
Maybe ill wait for the winter&darkness to return before buying one.

My daughter would disown me, I got her a very expensive north face padded jacket, water proof also....
She refused to wear it as it wasn’t in her words (daddy it’s not a little girls colour) it was light blue... we need pink, she’s ridiculously girly...

Sadly due to lockdown she couldn’t have friends or a party.
so I kind of over compensated with the cake and presents.

Was given a new flashlight for Xmas. It is The Ultimate LED Zoom flashlight, with a super bright beam that is visible up to 8 km. Not that I have tried that feature yet.

And for those who live in winter wonderlands, it can also operate in extreme temperatures.

Apparently it also has a strong contoured head for emergency window breaking...I guess that is in case this is required...

Have to say i think the problem in the USA is much bigger and very different to the UK.

To start the USA have built an industry on locking people up. 3 strikes and your out. Megaways (oops) Megamax security prisons etc etc - the industry and jobs created through locking people away is worth billions.

The USA have huge ghettos much bigger and more established than the UK.

I feel sorry for any child regardless of colour growing up in a ghetto or slums being pushed into gangs. Growing up in these circumstances must be extremely challenging for anybody.

In the UK, where I live i heard of a fatal stabbing which closed a road a couple of days ago. Speaking with my neighbour it seems there were two gangs of Muslims that had decided to meet at 3 in the morning.

This is unheard of around here and here is the problem i see:

The fact they were all Muslims and this is ethnic related will not be reported or focused on as such.

The Police will struggle as around here those communities keep their mouths shut and prefer to deal with things themselves, which i like the idea of but if have to adhere to a system of policing then so should they for the benefit of the nation.

In London black youths stab each other. Asian youths stab each other. Both communities refuse, in the main, to deal with the Police and therein lies the problem - Its a local cultural problem - Not saying they have a bad culture! - but for me the solution is to either challenge the status quo or for them to sort their own problems out which they are clearly failing at.

Trying to empower the communities to effect change is a good approach in the UK and it needs both sides to accept its not only a black, white, asian etc problem - its down to the individual. There is no widespread inequality in the UK anymore for anyone.

Im afraid it feels like if you are white you are not allowed an opinion. How retarded is that? - That in itself is rascist sentiment.

Intelligence and solution finding is based on emotion and logic, not colour.

We do see it here, but for its better to go further north to get the a better experience.

I remember well my first trip to the Far North in a June month, well, St. Petersburg isn't that far up but reasonably enough. Stayed a smallish family hotel and got a room on the top floor. It only had two large roof windows with no blinders in the main room and one in the bathroom.

Gave a me a superb view of the "old" St Peterburg but hell, I wasn't able to sleep for a second because it was basically 24/7 daylight inside the room.

You need blackout curtains if you want things dark.

Travel further north to kiruna, and sunsets no longer exist.
