what about sugar and milk in green tea?

My uncle was 7 in one cup, about 6 times a day.

Coupled with an allergic reaction towards anything green, it’s unsurprising he only made it to 55.

Needless to say, his pancreas wasn’t donated.

No milk. No sugar. In tea. And measure the temp accurately. Tea is a holy drink. When drank properly.

I don't fuss about many things. But I take beverages seriously.

yes, It irks me when I see a kettle being boiled and the tea being assaulted by water at 100 C

Monsters.

Cant say that i bother to measure the temp before making the tea.
But i do know you are not supposed to use boiling water to make it.
its supposed to be 80-85 celsius or something like that i think ive read somewhere.

And whats with the hate on milk&honey in tea?

"fell harder than he was pushed"

Its not like it was a football-flop.
It probably had more to do with being 75 years old and not having the reflexes/agility to break the fall.
I doubt he fell on his head on purpose.

The cops ignoring an old man bleeding from the head did it on purpose tho.
You can even see one of them approaching him, and when they see the blood they are like "nope, dont want nothing to do with that"

Sounds credible @mack341 ?

Not really, surprised Trump is even mentioning it. He just looked like an old codger saying something to the police and they pushed him over, and he banged his head on the pavement.

I would simply caution the police not to push elderly people like that.

But it does say something about Trump that he actually believes that. He's losing his mind!

could be a diversion tactic, but yes overall since the ukraine impeachment process I feel he is getting a bit confused and his responses not as sharp.

Dunno how that diversion could help him. That's so insane tweet :P
I just hope Romney takes over the republican party after the election. Then there's at least some sanity in republican party.

This call to defund the police could backfire on the democrats, Joe is going to have to declare his position, If he opposes defunding some activists may not like that, if he approves moderates may not like it.

Tucker showed a clip of the minnesota mayor frey (?) being denounced by a crowd and having to walk away dejected because he refused to agree to the police dept being shut down. It was a pathetic sight, some of these protesters are deranged in their requests.

That I can agree with you. I don't know how it helps to defund the police. Just need to get the crappy police out of the police force. Some people said something about community policing but yeah good luck getting people to go and stop some armed guy. It's ridiculous.

Yes, don’t ‘agitate’ the tea...

Im thinking of having a tea party with @ternur

Just waiting on him sending me his address (I have to pretend I don’t know it already or it’ll look weird when I just roll up)

Yeah, you should have seen the look on his and his wifes face when i just strolled into the sauna naked.
Definitely get the adress from him first to make things less weird.

Why would anyone drink tea in the first place.

Coffee all the way. And who cares if it is meant to be a certain temperature. Way i look at it is the kettle boils for a reason. Once it clicks it means that's time to add the water to the coffee.

sorry this is replying to Dion's post, not coffee or tea making styles [ :p although I always use boiling hot for tea and only slightly less hot for coffee as it supposedly makes it more bitter if too hot]

what a scummy thing to do, travel thousands of miles to kill another creature minding it's own business.

His children are all a bit thick, there will be no george bush style political legacy unless the youngest, baron or whatever his name is, has some brain cells.

That's some skill there! Pity that I don't have any talent for creativity.
Same here.
I try to draw every once in a while, but what ends up on the paper is not the same as what i have in my head. :p

Your joke about leaving the paper blank was predicted. hah

The doors are always open here. I might be a closet Canadian :p

Like I said, tea is a holy drink. So if you're attending a tea ceremony here, you'll need to bring your own yukata.

And after a formal and traditional ceremony, what would be more fun than drinking cold beer in a hot sauna? The place were Finnish people have no problem getting naked around strangers. We fear talking to strangers in a bus more than that

Oh Paul, our Scottish negative Nelly :p

Coffee is great. Tea is divine. Beer is the nectar of gods.

Hot drinks are serious business Paul. Beverage bigotry shall not be tolerated. You should view the world in a tea cup half full kind of way instead. It's the more fun way of seeing the world around you.

coffee is defintely very Canadian - cant throw a rock without hitting a Tim Hortons here
I dont mind the odd tea, but almost always, it's because it's winter and flavoured
Isnt tea always flavoured?
I mean, otherwise its just hot water.

Oh dear. Do we have a ... heathen amongst us?!

Tea is one of the holy leafs (leaves?) we are blessed with in this rock. Thou shalt not mix it with anything. No sugar, honey, milk, vanilla, peppermint, mint or anything that might get in the way of spiritual experience of it.

Edit: First version seemed to contain a double negative. I'm positive person, so corrected it was.

I agree with every point you made. Tea and liquorice are great. Honey is also great.

WTG Kroffe
Dont try and fool the people Ternur.
Who would know more about leaves?
A guy from Sweden pretending to be a bear, or a guy from Benin pretending to be a lawyer?
