Executive Order on Modernizing Influenza
Vaccines in the United States to Promote
National Security and Public Health

09-19-19

"...Unlike seasonal influenza, a pandemic has the potential to spread rapidly around the globe, infect higher numbers of people, and cause high rates of illness and death in populations that lack prior immunity. While it is not possible to predict when or how frequently a pandemic may occur, there have been 4 pandemics in the last 100 years... "

To say that @POTUS is completely oblivious to the real and/or potential shortcomings of our nation's ability to handle a pandemic is ridiculous. I'm going to move on from this, because I already know what is going to happen. Someone is going to point out to me that this EO is about influenza, not corona . Therefore it means absolute shit. Context is overrated, right?

"The US president is a good dude."
I predict that on 04-10-20, Harry will send this phrase out in a mass text!
;) :D Bet.

You're of course right Kelly Jo. It wouldn't be fair to say Trump is oblivious to this current situation. It would be a far too great a distraction of his oblivousness of pretty much everything.

What is amazing that he still have this many cheerleaders. I mean come on. Really.

Don’t doubt the messiah, he’s making America great. The man is like a unstoppable train, all aboard the trump express! Choooo chooo!..

Are these guys lying to?

Amazing how you people never stop highlighting when your Dear Leader is getting praised, especially because it is simply part of his job, no praise needed for any normal person.

But I suppose everyone in the cult must praise the Messiah at least 3x per day, so he feels less insecure.

where are those drive thru testing centres at the Walmart and target parking lots?
that google website?

My Mother wants to know. She lives in SC.

Look it up. I saw news clips of testing sites. No idea of where they are.
Look it up. I heard something about a Google site up and running a couple days ago.

Call the SC governors office, ask them what to do.

Become independent and pro active in life and you will prevail.

We defend him over what we deem unfair and relentless attacks. Call it a proper up bringing.

(CNN):what::eek2:Here's an indisputable fact: President Donald Trump is as popular today as he has been since his first day in office.
In a new Gallup poll, 49% approve of the job Trump is doing as president while 45% disapprove, matching the highest his approval rating has ever been in Gallup surveys. A Monmouth University poll released on Monday showed Trump at 46% approval, again the best he has done in that poll in more than three years.

What accounts for Trump's rise? Simple: His response to the coronavirus crisis.
In the Gallup poll, 60% of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing in handling the crisis while 38% disapprove of how he has done. Six in 10 independents approve of how Trump has done on the coronavirus as do more than 1 in 4 (27%) of Democrats. In the Monmouth poll, 50% say Trump has done a good job with coronavirus while 45% said he has done a bad job.
The heightened approval for how Trump has managed this crisis -- particularly among independents and even Democrats -- is what is pushing up his overall approval numbers, which have been largely stagnant for years.

-------------

Seems on the whole people feel he is doing a fairly decent job in trying circumstances. I don't think the uk has even put in place flight restrictions:

THE SUN: Traffic arrivals into the UK are around 100,000 every day - but this has fallen from half a million before the pandemic began.

"Several flights come into the UK every day from New York, Tehran, Rome and Beijing. "

But passengers showing symptoms of the infection are not allowed to board flights in most countries.

However, when they get to the UK there are no health or temperature checks.

They are asked to self isolate at home for 14 days but there is little that can be done to do enforce this.

The man is a juggernaut, can’t be stopped.
A fantastic human and very popular.
Even my daughter agrees.

I was going to post that poll info earlier so I'm glad you did.

Gotta be honest some folks are taking this way to serious and getting personal.
Some like the messiah and others don’t.
But it has got a bit boring all the trump bashing.
Don’t worry I’ll be doing a ‘cooking whilst avoiding corona food post later’ lamb Wellington with all the trimmings :-) superb stuff.

That’s the thing, they don’t have a issue with any other world leader. Just trump. It’s frankly ridiculous.
MAGA 2020!!! They will hate it even more when he wins again.

I'll start drinking again, if he gets re-elected.

Some like the messiah and others don’t.

Yes.

Stop being such a baby.
You just have to make Trumps empty promises become true by yourself.
Then its almost as if what he said was true all along.

said the person with the honey bear avatar....

as of 3 days ago there were only two drive thru testing centres and were basically for first responders...

so give me a break with your fake outrage and your devotion to the trump defenders

Harry the first part of my post was entirely copy & pasted from CNN, their words not mine, a 25th march article by their editor at large Mr Cillizza.

They based this on a Gallup poll, [ 538 probably predicted a hillary win in 2016 :p ]

[gallup used 1020 adults, randomly chosen and via telephone]

The trend of his figures are certainly not down even using the 538 site's 'weighted' poll above

Yup Trump is doing quite well in the polls at the moment. But I'm pretty sure it's just a thing in a crisis situation.
Similar to this:

But once deathtoll keeps rising and people doing worse financially...people start asking more questions about how Trump actually handled the situation. There's no way his approval stays this high. Then again that's my educated guess! We'll see how it actually goes.

A little bit of effort goes a long way.

hey you know what you are correct, but I tried that on another thread. I apologized for something I didn’t even start...and then never got an acknowledgement...zero. Zip. Nada. the poster knows who he is...utterly rude.

My southern upbringing and Canadianess keep me from saying a lot of things on this board but I hear what you say...too bad not everyone follows this etiquette. ...

blah blah...

Canadians are far to nice, until there not (look at my many bans and telling off from dino!) he’s the meanest Canadian on here when he wants to be.
Yes we get the less intelligent casting madness and nonsense, just ignore them as we as trump supporters are winning massively, and the stone cold losers don’t like it.
I’ve had to apologise lots for things I’ve done, just take it on the chin and move on.
We only get the nonsense and hostility as trump is doing a fine job, and he’s won 2020 already.
Some folks are just bitter bless them.

Ahh yes, I remember that poster too. I remember how you tried to slate him in another thread and called him names, then issued some half-baked 'apology' that he couldn't care less about

Steviedoo didn't misunderstand you. Steviedoo is on your side. He responded to slotplayer. He is as anti Trump as they come. How did this happen?

*looks around
Seriously? No one else saw this?

It is plain to see, that the topics folks rant about in here literally mean nothing. This thread & President Trump simply serve as an outlet for frustrations.

Who’s the poster in question? This is most intriguing. Like a Agatha Christie Novel Infact.

Thanks guys, this thread's confusions has given me plenty of laughs tonight, I think I'll crack open another bottle of kool-aid now :p
What’s the kool-aid reference mate?..
used to enjoy it when visiting my family in the states. Am I bad for drinking it? Is it some kind of bad drink :-/
Confused here lol

See Harry's post to me earlier, it's just a phrase to mean you're a bit brain washed regarding a person or issue, a non-questioning believer.

I'm a semi trump fan, I can see some of his faults and shortcomings but the alternative, PC obsessed, manifesto of the democrats and their shoddy performance running states they control would force me to vote Trump.
