I repeat now myself.
Mr T should get reelected. It would be fabulous for the world. He's already scrapped treaties/alliances wherever he could, diminishing the role of the US on the world stage. He also sanctioned to the moon and back dozens of countries, friend and foe alike, which again damages the US at the end of the day. Four more years? Go ahead.
A simple and small example. He's been trying to strangle any 5G competition, especially Huawei because the US companies snoozed. But because the US controls the flow of the money via the $ and SWIFT, he can simply do it.
Huawei just released their own "Google Maps", not yet perfect but close, because under the sanctions they cannot use Google apps. Give it four years and they might just knock Google of the throne. Who's laughing then? Revenue and top-paying jobs at a US company and its countless suppliers will be lost.
The other more critical item is the chip manufacturing. At the moment, US companies are holding the world at ransom because the architecture of the chips and the machinery to produce them is under US control. Huawei's capability is roughly 3 generations behind the newest chip architecture. Again, give it four more years and where do you think they will be? And who will be laughing then and who will be suffering? Immense revenue and top-paying jobs at US companies will be lost forever.
This is just one example mack, a very small on at that. I could write down pages more where Mr T has done immense damage to the standing of the US in the world. I had to laugh so hard when he sent Pompano to Japan to gather support for an "Asian NATO" to counter "bad China". Pompano promised “
significant announcements” and “
significant achievements” before he boarded the plane. Only four countries involved in what they call the Quad and they couldn't even agree on a common communique at the end of the talks.
But, hey, the Chinese will buy more soybean and corn, what a victory for Mr T. And he brought the coal jobs back, what a bright future that promises to be.
BTW, good luck with those trade deal negotiations. Chlorine chicken and hormone beef shall be your smallest worries.
