Gonzo's Quest Megaways has 95.8% RTP on Merkur - I'm sure it was originally higher than this. Almost impossible to prove now though.

I think the Megaways version has always been at that point - Red Tiger* always skew lower - there are lower versions available as well. It's not even worth considering playing on less than 94% - it doesn't tumble, and that game is hard enough to bonus anyway.

Never liked Gonzo's bonus mechanic of the bonus symbols needing to occur on (at least) reels 1, 2 and 3. Completely removes any suspense as to whether it may drop in (except in tumbles, which don't happen in the ruined versions anyway.)

* Autocorrect changed that to Red Tight, which is probably apt, but I changed it back anyway.

Some sites have GQM at 90% - unreal - just damaging both brands - they'll pay in the long run

GQM at 95.8% is pretty much "deluxe setting" for the UK and quite hard to find. Most sites have it at 94%, and obviously the usual scum sites have it at 90%.

Yet to find the super mega hyper 98% version anywhere. Even offshore it's on 95.8%.

I was looking at barista coffee machines a few weeks back and there are some real nice ones on the market if you’ve got deep pockets (some getting up towards £1000). Settled for a Swan £150 jobby in the end and it’s good enough.
Yes, I keep meaning to get one of these considering my insane heart-murmuring consumption of coffee and fussy choices. So anybody who can recommend a good relaible coffee machine that actually serves up hot tasty coffee and not tepid piss that's colder than my missus within 5 minutes of hitting the cup, I'd be grateful. I'll go up to 1-1.2k in budget, nothing ridiculously expensive like machines you get in coffee bars.

P.S. Oh yeah, that uses beans and not those fucking plastic capsules like a works canteen.

Yeah the one I bought isn’t hot enough for my liking, that’s its down side.

No idea what the obsession is with lukewarm coffee these days. When I go to Costa I have to ask for ‘extra hot’ just to get it served normal temperature (well, normal temperature to me).

That's the one I bought...typically reduced by £20 since I bought it

Yes, it seems that's the bugbear surrounding these machines, the temperature, most reviews mention that it isn't piping hot.....

Tried clicking that, but to no avail. Do links not work from the North?:p

But from that picture, it looks pretty swish. On the lookout for a good coffee machine ourselves, and some of them enter the realm of 'eye-watering' when it comes to price. Still, it's gotta beat those coffee 'pressers' we've been forced to endure

Get yourself into Currys PC World or somewhere like that. They have quite a few on display to check out 👍 Sage coffee machines are very good but very pricey.

As much as I WANT to post some wisecrack, the NEED to stay quiet is prevailing.

Should be some decent deals on the various electrical retailer sites this week and next, I'm happy enough with my 'canteen' style pod machine, got to descale it though. If the coffee is not hot enough I either top it up with boiling water, and or briefly place it in the microwave, doesn't seem to ruin the taste or anything.

I've always generally maintained that filters are the way to go because of their versatility, but I've definitely got one eye on 'Bean-to-cup' variants to really enrich the flavour. But it must have an integrated grinder or forget about it already
