I just got round to playing this and its quite bad.

A few things that i didnt like is no matter how many winning lines or wilds appear I never won more than 4xbet in normal play.As said before the griffin shows up every other spin locking the spin button making it so slowwwww.But in 15 free spins the griffin appeared only once.

In all 250 spins and 5x bet was highest win and this was due to free spins with a 5xmult.

i know this is an old thread but thought to post my two cents as a long time player of Great Griffin.

i liked this slot, in fact it's all i had really played by Microgaming up until recently, that is until i got hooked on the Dark Knight (won about $400.00). i like the Great Griffin because of the graphics, what i don't like is that the Griffin rears it's head every two spins, knowing the Griffin isn't going to put the wilds anywhere useful makes this an annoying bonus. I've put hundreds into that game without a free feature ever... I won't play it these days, the Griffin annoys me. You do get some decent play time though
