NETENT slots games, I feel the RTP is no better than MG slots

A good indicator on how many people from this forum play (and have hit BIG) are the Winner Screen Shots. To be honest, I RARELY see a Big hit on NetEnt slots. Sure, they exist, but not in the multitude that MG / RTG or even 3Dice have.

Is it an indicator that people on this forum just prefer other software providers or is it an indicator of the absence of regular big hits on these Slots? I can't say:confused:...

A RTP of 95 - 97% does not mean that the Slot has big hit potential. It could be deemed medium to low variance. Take Payola at 3Dice, I probably have never had a hit over 200 or 300x bet on it. The Zeitgeist says the biggest hit was 750x in the last 4 years (last time I checked). I know the Slot is medium variance, but trying to get a hit of 1000x plus on any bet is in reality chasing a ghost. I suspect many of NetEnt games could be classified the same.

Now it comes to ask the question, why netENT slots are designed mostly in this way?

I cannot answer that, but the gaming industry at large tend to introduce new slots and features to increase play / profitability on their products. All the new designs and changes to gameplay are aimed at increasing play or attracting customers.

If you take the B&M environment, IGT / Aruze / Aristocrat may change the Cabinets, Game Play and Graphics to be more inviting in order to secure more purchases or upgrades from B&M casinos using their products.

To be quite honest, a lot of the designs these days are 'Hit and Miss'. The genuine players like many of us on these forums can tell how successful the Slot will be from the time we play it. It would help if software providers take the feedback of the PLAYERS themselves in order to appease them. Software providers also look at statistics which will help them decide the popularity of the Slot and whether to introduce a 'Clone' or something similar. This trend can be seen with the Expanding Wild / Stacked Wild flood of the market as apposed to singular wilds.

There may be differing views as to what is FUN and attracts people here, but it is very clear to note that the majority of posters in the Winner Screenshot thread play NetEnt, but not that often. I for one would rate the Playtech slots more 'Fun' than the NetEnt slots.

To me its about the hit potential, but more importantly - 'The Feeling' you get when playing the slot. I am excited when I play Santa's Wild Ride / Immortal Romance and Break Da Bank Again....On Playtech Ironman 2 is an example. I just cannot get the same feel on NetEnt...

Low variance slots are better for the casino = more likely they will be profitable (when bonuses are in play) even against a high variance slot with the same RTP.
(If you want a full explanation - ask Enzo!)
I'm not saying that's WHY they are designed like they are - just sayin' ;)

Also many players prefer low variance slots because you generally get more play-time for your buck.
I definitely fall into that category, which is why many of my favourite slots are from NetEnt, Grand Virtual & Rival.

Ive just spent the last few nights playing nothing but Netent slots.Firstly I find there games are better than any other software provider with regards to variety of features, animations and graphics.

But I find the returns just awful. This was the slots I played last night:

Robin Hood- Free spins, which took forever to get roughly gettin one money-bag every 75-100 spins. Finally filled a chest after 1 hours play.Betting £0.60 my return on free spins was £0.64 so I won 0.04! that extra wild is of no use at all.I continued playing had 2 more free spin rounds never returned higher than £5.

Piggy Riches:Thought I was doing great hitting 3 bonus rounds, none of which paid higher than 10xbet.

Jack and the Beanstalk:Lots of walking wilds but never anything half decent round about them, the free spins feature well I had hundreds of spins and never seen it.Money vanished really quickly on this slot.

Alien Robots: Spinning £0.60 was happy when 4 scatters dropped in but didnt pay anything for that, then had had 20 spins that returned £4.50,seen the wild appear twice in 20 free spins.

Jack hammer:Again 3 free spins rounds 15,15,10 spins again never higher than 10xbet.Then another 50 virtualy empty crappy spins, I gave up.

Mega Joker:Was the last slot I played had £20 in my account betting £1 had 20 spins of sheer emptiness.

In all a £200 loss.Maybe Iam just venting here and have been on the unlucky side every time I play.Hopefully when I next give them a go I will see the other side of the coin.

I've played quite a few slots at Net Entertainment, specifically Nordic Bet, and I don't have any issues with the returns. I actually ended up by almost $200 on Boom Brothers.

I will admit that I'm not the biggest slot player, so I guess I'm not the best judge. Still the fact that they publish their RTP's, and the animation is funny as hell, makes me like them.
