NetEnt Open Questions

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
I read a great deal of this entire thread especially the posts from the NetEnt "rep". Seems to me they sent their representative to this forum to do some FREE marketing research and get ideas/insight then nothing but "crickets". Totally self-serving in nature and nothing to do with "customer service". They obviously know the complaints are going to pile in and literally could care less. They are laughing all the way to the bank with the cash of many people on this forum.

It would be an interesting poll thread to see how many people think they actually made a profit from these thieves. They know damn good and well the programming of their slots machines and the percentages they pay. The so-called "100,000 times" monster win is probably 1 in 100 million or even NEVER! It's all one big ploy to get people to drop a dime. (Sure they are exceptions but what is that, 1 in 500,000 people?)

The only way any gaming company will listen is if people start recording their pathetic "cash-grabbing" sessions which in my opinion are mercenary. Funny how human nature is such we only want to document are huge successes and not our utter failures.

These people should be wearing masks carrying proper weapons. At least make people feel like victims of a burglary. The only difference is people went to their own houses and handed them cash. Such a deal!

I say post loads of YouTube videos showing endless sessions of people losing their entire bankrolls with wins of no more than $5 USD. Then when there are literally thousands of videos of this nature compared to one big win it shall make an impact on their bottom lines.

No wonder these people hide in places like Malta as they would be beaten senseless with head offices in London or New York.

It's not fun going into a game knowing that 99 times out of 100 you will lose. I have no problems losing money if I have fun doing it and I get to walk away with a win from time to time.

I'm sick of seeing A-10-Q-J with no action on the symbols that put some cash back into MY pocket, not theirs. It's not fun playing cards and coming up with nothing, not even a pair. Why even put themes around games that are mostly showing cards? Ridiculous IMHO. Are they too lazy to come up with bullets, horseshit, spitoons, tombstones, and tumbleweeds?

I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I'm speaking my mind. The intentions for this post are in direct response to the person who represents this company. After reading what they said and the comments made thereafter it inspired this post and for that I'm grateful. If they had any decency, a response in kind would be nice.

Finally, I'd rather wipe my butt after a righteous turd with my cash than to give another penny to this lot.

This thread has saved me a bundle. Thanks to everyone for their candid input. Personally, I am willing to drop a couple hundred more dollars just to record the outright treachery that goes on if you drop a dime in their games.

For the record, I've dropped several thousand USD in a couple of months into their games and came away with SQUAT!

I suggest you pop over to the dead or alive 2 thread and have a look at the screen shots you might have been getting a hammering were as others are doing quite well.
(That's why it's called gambling and not winning) if u don't like netent can I suggest BTG great and fair provider (dick Turpin wore a mask)

@irish-ranger good point well put mate especially the emphasis on the word "gambling". The only reason why I've stuck so long at Netent games has been watching videos of huge wins that seem to be far from reality. It sure looks that way when you struggle to put together 2 wilds or even 3 paltry Aces.

I must say after playing most of the big gaming companies mentioned on this forum Netent stands out as by far the most stingy. I've never had a win of 100x on any of their games on betting levels from 15 cents to 2 dollars.

This is the primary reason why I avoided slots entirely when I frequented Vegas. I'd stick to blackjack and later, Texas Holdem when that started to become popular. In most cases, I did quite well with both of those table games but it boiled down to patience and of course, luck.

I'd go and spunk a couple of C notes on 1 or 5 dollar "Wheel of Fortune" slots if I got up a few thousand and most of the time it was like putting cash down the toilet. Especially the 5 dollar variety. I also found that playing in certain casinos gave me exceedingly good luck while others were completely the opposite. In that regard, the same can be said for certain software gaming when playing online.

Didn't mean to sound terrible in my post above but the dryness of their gameplay is unbelievable.

Thanks for the BTG suggestion I'll give them a try. Cheers!

I do actually think Netent's quality output has increased a fair bit since the chimp game, personally.

How much of that is down to the feedback in this thread *cough* "none" *cough* remains to be seen, but the rep certainly gleaned quite a bit of useful feedback from the useful idiots, so to speak :eek2:

But unlike MG who are fast sinking into the abyss, NE have arguably created the best slot of the last 5 years with DOA II, when everyone expected it to be shit, frankly. Although we could all do without their filler games. NE should focus on more quality releases so we can look forward to their titles, like the good ol' days

Seriously mate if Netent run a comp for a new Bentley and your the winner I'll be wicking in a PAB lol

So many different opinions and some great feedback for Netent. Im just going to give my 2p's worth:

Love the games on the whole. There are a few I dont like but thats the same with all portfolios. Have had many 100 x wins and some games like Drive, Steam Tower, Jack and the Beanstalk and Secrets of the Stones I play weekly. Everyones experience is obviously different but Netent is in my top 5 although I still have a lot of exploring to do. Of course, DOA i love and DOA2 i love the potential. Its about a varied portfolio for me, some games i like to hit and run and others i will wager for bigger wins e.g. For Drive and Steam Tower I am confident I can grab a bonus (maybe not so much on Drive but still bigger wins with the multipliers) and hit and run and then others, like DOA2, I will stay in because the potential is there to hit bigger. I am having technical issues with newer games it seems but also with YGGdrassil. I play on chrome using a chromebook and get the 'unsupported browser' message and newer games like cashomatic have frequent errors. Must admit though, on mobile nothing seems to work better for me than Netent. Keep up the good work and thank you for the opportunity to feed back.

Amazing how the mileage varies WIDELY on all these various games. I just set out to record a session on Dead or Alive 2 and upload it to YouTube. Low and behold I get 4 bonus rounds in a 30-minute session. Although they didn't yield dick I find the whole episode nothing less than amusing leaving my foot completely up my rear end.

I guess I'll go put on a dunce tin foil hat and sit in a corner for a week and lick my wounds.

Amazing how one can get wound up if they put too much thought into these spellbinding games. I guess that is why we keep putting cash into them.

I've always played Netent games more than any others, and are usually my goto games with bonuses and free spins. However, I'm more than a little disappointed with the newest arrivals and never play them, Narcos being one of the very worst games I've ever played. Payouts have dropped for me this year and the games don't seem to be playing as well as last year, and I've noticed some big drop-offs in quality of some of the games I play the most, like Halloween Jack and Jumanji, which have been really good for me since they arrived. Surprised to see so many of you like DOA as it's never done anything for me.

You know the games are weighted against you right? You must have been up at some points, that is the time to get out. If you keep playing indefinitely then of course you are going to come away with squat every time.

I'm lazy to go back and see if I wrote on this particular thread that I try to avoid Netent because for me their games are vacuums which simply gobble the cash from my bankroll with very little entertainment value. As I shall always say, I don't mind losing if there is something in it for me in terms of enjoyment and of course, losing.

I never go full tilt on any one particular slot or nor have I on table games either. I believe, in fact, know this trait has served me well in a few decades of gambling responsibly. Sure I'll blow my last 20 or 40 dollars but with the thinking, the money is gone when I originally deposited it. The same can be said for Texas Hold Em and Blackjack which I do quite well in if I'm patient and calm.

My comments and experience are based on six months of playing their games along with a slew of other companies. I've taken six months off of my responsibilities after 30 years of very hard work to collect myself. During this time I've played a lot of online slots and these games have never been my thing throughout my life. I must say I like and enjoy them a lot more than I thought I would but can easily tune them out when needed.

To me, the key to any sort of gaming is having a good time and patience which leads to clear rational thought. Positive thinking has everything to do with it too and that ties into the previous sentence. This is where I believe Netent games (for me anyway) are not conducive. I can't help what I think and feel which is irritation and the thought of KNOWING I'm going to lose. This would obviously change if I got a decent win from time to time but I do not. Therefore, it comes to a point it's no longer fun or a game. This is why I made the comment of letting these slots do your nut it and this is something I wish to avoid as life is too short.

I believe this negativity has a direct impact based on my experience.

To end on a positive note I'd like to reiterate the following. Everything I read on this forum is truly brilliant information and tabulated in a very professional format. I must thank everyone for putting all their time and effort into the content on this board. I developed and own a rather active Asian travel forum with its 10 year anniversary coming up so I'm aware of what it takes to "make the gravy brown" as they like to say in New Orleans.

Instead of making a new thread asking this question, I found this thread with a search of the forum.

Did Net Ent make a clone of Steam Tower? I am sure they did? if they did, can anyone please tell me the name of it please? If not I must have been dreaming about it all this time hahahaha........

Thanks in advance :)

@DreamRJ Ocean's Treasure :)

Slightly altered though but the same number of pay lines and mechanic in the FS.

Thanks @Harry_BKK - Yeah I have played Ocean's Treasure before a few times, I did not really see it as a true clone though. The free spins is not really the same as steam tower, also the trigger you need to get 3 scatters to get the free spins. The wild stacks do not trigger the spins like it does on steam tower.

Thanks though :)

So I must have been dreaming then the whole time hahahaha........... I shall try not to dream about slots anymore......... Well that is gonna be hard to do lol

For the game, it does not really matter if you need 1, 2 or 3 scatters to trigger the FS. It's just a visual difference. :)

The progression levels are indeed slightly different, however, the overall RTP portion for both is virtually identical.

Keep dreaming, who knows they might do a sequel one day, maybe Megaways. :D

I hate clones anyway. I just do not know why I thought there was a clone of it lol. I would not say I want another net ent megaway slot. Red Tiger would again probably jump in and use their platform for it...... Which again would be a huge NO NO.......... RED TIGER SUCKS.....

Have you seen the video Dunover made about gonzos quest megaways?
I think it looks pretty good.
But i kind of like red tigers megaways slots, so im a bit biased i guess.

Couldn't agree more, in my experience Red Tiger are just about the worst games on the planet, along with nearly all the Jackpot King games, which are always so much worse than the standard versions, but then all jackpot games seem to be worse than standard.
