Need Neteller help

Can someone please log into Neteller and check the money out option for me ?
was going to withdraw money to my bank account but the option is not there like it used to be ?
i have mailed vip at Neteller but being saturday night might take awhile so wanted to know
if it was just me

Thought i would bump this post instead of starting a new one.

Has anyone ever signed into neteller account and found it way overdrawn as it has registered a cash withdrawal twice. If so what happened did it rectify itself a few days later.

Trying to contact neteller is near impossible.
 
Both me and my wife just logged into ours and for some reason there both showing negitive Balances

Mine was £71 overdrawn tho £40 was paid into it and it is now £31 overdrawn.

Showing a £70 withdrawal as registering twice on the 23rd. Guessing it will sort itself out not sure tho.

It has happened before to me and it took a while but they will correct it. If you have Facebook you could probably see more affected of it on their page and maybe even see what is happening.

I withdrew £250 on 21st Dec using my Neteller+ card. This went out of my account straight away. The same transaction was taken out again this morning taking me to -£171. Tried to call the UK number but it was very busy. Have also emailed with no reply.
Its swallowed up my playing funds for this week. Ah well... At least it saves me losing it on slots this week.

Not that you had lost money obviously but that it was just not me.

I had took money out a few times last week as for once Neteller had a bit in it so i was taking it out bit by bit before i lost it lol. Took £200 out on Saturday that was fine. Then played at casinos depositing and withdrawing. During Sunday i had £100 left in Neteller so went sod it take another £70 out. Then deposited £30 later so knew hadn't been overdrawn on Sunday.

Was only when i had £40 paid into Neteller tonight that i went to deposit in Coral and it said declined due to insufficient funds. Was like okay must be error checked account and saw minus £31. So knew £71 was gone and checked history and see double payment on 23rd.

No doubt since many are affected it will get sorted soon enough.

I was so relieved when I saw this on the latest threads. What date was you original transaction? I wonder if it reconciled all transactions from fri 21st until this morning as today was first banking (open for business) day since 21st.... Hope its the case and fixes itself at midnight x x x

I had done a £200 withdrawal using card on 22nd that seems okay. It was the £70 one on Sunday the 23rd that has put me overdrawn. But still the same weekend as yours.

Hopefully like you say it will sort itself out overnight.
 
The double charge of ATM withdrawals is not new and Neteller knows about it, but so far have no clue why it is happening and no fix.

However, processors have safeguards for these kind of things as the double charge will cause somewhere (bank owning the ATM) a positive difference and once it is established that the cash was not paid out twice, the second transaction will be reversed. Takes up to 2 weeks, but should usually rectifies itself within 5 banking days.

I actually found out which banks were prone to have this happen with the Neteller ATM card, so I avoided them. These are of course the banks in my region, there were three where the ATMs regularly caused double charges - UOB, OCBC and Standard Chartered. I then made sure to withdraw at other ATMs and never had the issue again.

EDIT: My Neteller withdrawal page looks normal.
 
Same thing here. Balance incorrect as a result of double dipped Net+ card transactions. Emailed VIP support yesterday, but Neteller is notoriously slow in replying to anything.

It has happened many times before, but it will be rectified eventually. Sucks though if your balance is low and double charges create a negative balance.

The funny part is though that the same thing happened to me as well with the EcoPayz Card. Hence, i suspect MasterCard is the culprit in the middle. :D
 
Spoke to Neteller this morning.

Was told they were aware of the problem affecting many people and were working hard to fix it.

She apologized and said it was a problem they were not expecting lol. I was like well i would hope you weren't . Anyway she said they hope to fix it soon as they can whatever that means.

Due to a technical issue, some of your NET+ transactions were settled twice and his has led to discrepancies in your account balance.

Our dedicated team and processing partner are working on fixing it with highest priority, yet we cannot engage with exact time frame. It will take a few days at least. As soon as your balance is corrected, we will let you know.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

And on the original topic of @The Viking, the withdrawal page looks like it should, i.e. not blank as yours.
 
I'll just post an update here in case others still have issues with Neteller (re: double charges):

Please, accept my apologies once again. My colleagues are still collaborating with our processing partner on fixing the problem that occured. The exact issue has been located and they are working on the execution of the adjustment. As a lot of customers were affected, it might take a few more business days.

Apologies once again for the extremely unpleasant situation.

Strangely, Neteller proactively updated me on the situation. Which was nice.

(Following my sob that I didn’t want to go into the new year -£254)

“Yes I can see that there are several duplicate transactions, a significant one amongst them”

So what did I take away from the call?
So it will be the usual 2 weeks that people have said it has been previously then will it?

Managed to get my account back into plus lol but sitting at £9 just. They only owe me £70 but would still be nice to have £80 to gamble today lol

Especially given some of the good offers in my inbox eg 200% match with 19 free spins.. x

I got this message today too and was infuriated! How dare they send even an automated letter including ‘collections team’
Perhaps I need to get a collections team involved (with associated costs plus interest plus compensation for bills not being paid) for stealing my money for over a week and also the 20 mins on hold x 2 on my mobile!!!!

:laugh: I got that email this morning as well. So i kindly phoned them and asked if they were taking the piss.

I was then told that it was an automated email since my account had been in arrears for a week and not to worry about it as they could see i had been double charged. But soon as i said i know that so how about returning my money i got the usual crap they are sorry and are working on it.

I had a payment due today that I couldn’t make as my cash is still in the

‘neteller; we stole your funds for the cumaltive interest for two weeks’ account.
This incurred me a £23 charge. Can’t help feeling hard done to that such Shocking neteller service (that they charge handsome amounts for) has cost me even more.

Cost of purchasing the net+ card, cost of withdrawal, loss of my own cash, cost of a 19 minute call, and now £23 as a consequence of their actions....

Well Supababe unfortunately i do not see them putting funds back into accounts anytime soon.

Complete joke that they are supposedly still trying to sort out the problem. Would think the least they could do is send out an email updating customers. Probably be a lot of people that had not even realized their accounts were overdrawn and panicked when they got the collections email.

Since Tomorrow is Friday and it is very unlikely anything will be sorted tomorrow then earliest will be next week at some point as they will not be working on anything this weekend.
 
You should switch to ecopayz after this Problem is fixed same service No Problems since few years for me...also livechat support daily times but i never needed it because no probs.

I feel for you guys, this is such a consistent problem with neteller and their attitude always stinks. If a bank in the uk didn't let you access your funds for a few hours due to some technical glitch there is mayhem and uproar but shit like this happens time and time again with these guys and takes weeks to sort out, don't they realise this is your cash!
 
Update: My balance was adjusted last night.

Didn't get an email about it, but glad funds were returned to the account. It only took about two weeks. :rolleyes:

Glad you got your's sorted.

As expected mine is still not fixed. But sure it be sorted by next year lol.
