Getting on for a full month to fix "a technical issue"
This is the EWX BS all over again
The Chuck Kidd connection has been deliberately cloaked, but the info is all there for mypaylinq(dot)biz. This site seems to be in Canada, and a traceroute for mypaylinq(dot)com seems to vanish in the mid US, not Cyprus. Chuck Kidd gives his address as Costa Rica in the Whois for the .biz domain, but registers via a proxy service for the .com
It seems there is a suggestion that Chuck Kidd has been thinking about shutting down MyPayLinq for US players for the last 2 years, but has decided to hang on till now, and then vanish with his customers' funds and no explanation.
It seems that those who could not believe that mypaylinq would scam them out of their money were wrong, and got burned again. It's hard to heed such warnings when we have the likes of iNetBet giving reassurances that there is nothing more sinister than a technical issue leading to the loss of service.
These over confident operators probably got burned as well. Players who acted quickly by depositing funds in mypaylinq to a casino, any casino that would still process the transaction, have probably minimised the damage to themselves. Those that held off requesting a withdrawal till casinos cut mypaylinq as an option at least have their money where they can see it, even if there may be no viable method to recover it yet.
If there was a Cyprus connection, it may have only been funds in transit, no physical presence beyond a bank account.
The Glopro site seems to have just been a mirror site for MyPayLinq, else why is MyPayLinq still (until recently) an active site when everything was supposedly operating as a new corporate entity (GloPro).
As more time passes, the idea that this is a technical issue or upgrade that will soon be over becomes ever less believable.
