Hello and welcome MyBet

I have one question regarding your general bonus terms:

3. In case of abusive behaviour on the user’s part as related to the bonus offer, PEI will reject the bonus and its payments as well as the winnings the user has earned from the bonus offer. PEI has the right to block all products and services to users who have abused bonus offers.

What do you mean by abusive behavior? Thanks.

Just registred and right when i about to deposit i got "locked"?

Hello rainmaker, thank you for welcoming myBet!

Here is an explanation from myBet side: There is a wide range of incidents that may fall under the definition of “abusive behavior”, here are some of the most common: multiple accounts, registration from a blocked territory, stolen credit card or abuse of any alternative payment methods, bonus abuse, affiliate fraud, collusion etc. An automatic verification of new account registrations is performed within the system; this is first level verification. The system may block a new account upon registration based on the initial data available. The second level verification is performed on the first withdrawal where players are asked to fully verify their accounts (send copy if ID, address verification & payment verification). Should at the second level any of the “abusive behavior” be identified, the appropriate measures will be taken. This can include canceling the deposit(s), winnings, bonus money and/or blocking accounts and/or IP-address.

Best regards, myBet.com

Allowed me to sign up however in their T&C's no Canada???

Hello me_and_ed,

as you are most probably aware, the legal situation is very dynamic - countries and software providers are changing the “white country list” basically every day. This is the situation with Canada and PEI: PEI has three external software partners (Playtech for Poker, Chartwell for Casino, Net Entertainment for Games) who all have their restricted territories and PEI has in addition its own. Canada is limited at PEI due to our Casino Software provider, Chartwell who’s headquarters are in Canada and therefore they cannot accept players from Canada. This is the reason why you can register from Canada, but you will not be able to play Casino. In the meantime Chartwell is also undergoing big corporate changes (them being taken over by AMAYA group) so this policy may change in the future.

Hello Osloking,

Sorry to hear that your account got locked, but this can happen when automated scoring systems are at work: On the first level verification the system performs an automatic check upon registration. Player’s account may be locked due to multiple account situation, blacklisted IPs or due to an IP, that is originating from a restricted territory. I can recommend you to contact support and they will be able to check the reason and inform you of the next course of action which may be verification of your account and address.

Fast Payouts

Belive me. Playing there for more than 2 years. The payments on weekdays in minutes and hours on weekends.

Lack of bonuses but I didn't use them anyway. :)

You realize that "abusing bonuses" by using them to wager exclusively in profitable or player advantageous ways is not a legitimate reason to confiscate money and is not an acceptable business practice for casinos who want to be listed here as accredited, right? If you offer the bonus and the players follow the terms of that bonus regarding the games they are allowed to play, fulfilling the WR, etc, it is expected that you will pay them regardless of whether or not you think their play is "abusing a bonus" for profit.

Thanks for your reply

But my question was more directed to the term "abusive behavior" in relation to the rule I referred to.

3. In case of abusive behaviour on the user’s part as related to the bonus offer, PEI will reject the bonus and its payments as well as the winnings the user has earned from the bonus offer. PEI has the right to block all products and services to users who have abused bonus offers.

The problem with this rule I is that it certainly may look like a "in the spirit of the bonus"-rule. My opinion about "bonus abuse" is quite clear, it does not exist. Bonus fraud yes, but not abuse. It is not possible to abuse a bonus. But I also acknowledge that casinos may use this term with different intentions.

But to be more specific. The rule says that you can confiscate funds if the player "abuse a bonus", you also used the term "bonus abuse" in your reply. Maybe you can clarify what you mean by "bonus abuse"?

Standards for accredited casinos:

Must not confiscate winnings for vague & unclear reasons, such as "irregular playing patterns" or "bonus abuse", without specific T&C violations.

Well I'm very unhappy with MyBet - not least for wasting half an hour of my life. :(
Turns out they DON'T accept players from the UK.
Here's the chat I just had:
>Live chat Thank you for visiting myBet.com. Do you require any help? / Danke, dass Sie vorbeischauen. Kann ich Ihnen behilflich sein?
Alex: Welcome to myBet.com. How may I help you?

→Hello!

→I was just opening an account with you guys, but got a very bizarre message pop up:

"Dear visitor, Access to certain services on our website is currently prohibited for your place of residence or your state affiliate for legal reasons. We still thank you for your visit. If you feel you have received this message in error, please contact our customer service at support@mybet.com"

→What on earth does that mean???

Alex: From which country are you trying to register?

→England.

Alex: I am afraid that we are currently not accepting any new registrations from the United Kingdom. This is also stated in our Terms and Conditions.
Alex: I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

→Oh really? Where?
→I checked yesterday and only Canada is excluded.
→Hello?

Alex: 3.7 We reserve the right to reject a registration without stating the reasons for such action.

→Yes - of course. But where does it show a list of excluded countries on your website in any T&Cs?

Alex: It does not. This is because it sometimes happens that we need to change the restrictions. For this reason, we have paragraph 3.7 in our Terms and Conditions.

→Well that is a nonsense!
→Which other countries are prohibited then?
→I know your terms used to say: No Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Slovakia and the UK

Alex: Following countries cannot register: US Virgin Islands, Egypt, China, Ivory Coast, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern and Antartic Lands, Guadeloupe, Indonesia, Malta, Martinique, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Turkey, USA, UK, Yugoslavia, Poland, Iran and Iraq.
Alex: Is there anything else I can assist you with?

→Yes - you can tell me WHY you don't accept members from the UK?

Alex: This is a decision taken by the Management and we are not given the reasons.

→OK - I will ask them then!

Alex: Is there anything else I can assist you with?

→Nope. have a good day!

Alex: Thank you. Same to you.
Alex: I wish you lots of fun and success with myBet.com.

→Ha-ha! Stupid joke!
→Why would you say such a thing?

Alex: I am very sorry. I got confused between chats. My apologies.
You may notice that the list Alex gave me does NOT include Canada - but that is specifically mentioned in the Casino T&C's on the site.

Very unprofessional show from Mybet. Citing Rule 3.7 without updating the list of excluded countries and then sounding so authoritarian ie we reserve to reject a registration..... just doesnt wash with me.

However, seems karma has come into play. You guys in UK can play at any casino previously so maybe its your turn for a change. :p I cant play at some softwares including Playtech, Wagerlogic, Netent and Viaden to name a few. Even 32Red doesnt let me play.

Just a quick look at their promotions showed me the web page is poorly maintained.

Expired Promotions are still up on the page - 5.00 EUR for Samurai Princess:

We are giving you €5 so you can play the game "Samurai Princess" risk-free. Simply exchange €5 or more into casino chips and play them in the game "Samurai Princess". The €5 Bonus will be credited automatically.

Promotion Period: February 3-5th, 2011

Next, the riddle question is riddled with date errors and a spelling error: Send us your answer before February 29th, 2011 to ......
We will reveal the winner on 02.03.2012. The lucky winner will recieve a €50 Bonus credited to their account and will be our February Riddle King.

Not being picky, I sometimes add the date as 2011 early on in the year, but the maintenance on a website should always be tip top!

Not impressed with them. And not allowing UK Players is no good. Also major reason for not wanting to promote them as affiliate. One of the few who has the carry over negative balances.
Not at all impressed!!

PEI Ltd. reserves the right to exclude permanently or temporarily customers from certain lands from bonus offers.

How about stating clearly on your website who can play and who can't. I wasted lot of time last year when I tried signing up here from UK!

Can not see these guys go into the accredited section, with everything taken into account

The rep from Mybet has not visited this forum in over a month.

That is a bit unusual when their casino is in the baptism section.

I think would be easier to scrap them here from Casinomeister. And all affiliates should do the same

This certainly is strange behaviour, not only for a casino in the 'baptism' section, but because Mybet is the great white hope for parent company Jaxx SE, which is about to drop the Jaxx brand and go forward on the Mybet title, if one is to correctly interpret comments in the latest annual report.

The latest results from Jaxx saw revenue up by 19 percent in 2011, with gross revenue up from €154.1 million in 2010 to €190.2 million and a net profit of €1.5 million - a big improvement on 2010's loss of €4.2 million.

The report notes that much of the improvement was down to Mybet's casino and sportsbetting business, where sports betting revenue rose 18 percent to €25.1 million, and casino and poker games were up by 32.9 percent to €17.1 million.

You would think that with numbers like that and the obvious future potential, they could pull their socks up over the silly errors showcased in this thread.

Fwiw there are changes ahead and I've just finished a test on MyBet and have to say overall was very impressed. Big cashout, no reverse crap, ID'ed and paid all within 24hrs of the request. Debit cards didn't work but that may be my bank. Paypal was good.

So they Accept UK players now??

What makes me wonder is why is their REP not taking part at all? If MyBet is not interested in taking part. Then why even offer them a chance to become Accredited here on Casinomeister? Let them run their own show :what:

It is strange that they go to all the trouble of getting accredited and then don't have the rep following up in a consistent and professional manner - perhaps the kitchen at CM was a little hotter than they anticipated?:what:

UK market

Dear all, l would like to comment several issues mentioned here. First of all, sorry for the delay. The emails from Casinomeister were blocked so only after logging in we saw the posts. Fixed this now. Sorry again.

Here is the story of the UK market: Mybet blocked UK players since we don’t offer Sportsbook in the UK market. This is purely a business decision, nothing to do with legal situation or casino software provider. Casino was never an issue in UK for mybet, however it was technically not possible to offer Casino only in a specific country. Since our last software release we can adjust products by markets so players from UK can now play Casino (Chartwell including Novomatic) and Games (Netent Casino). At the moment the UK Market is running “in beta mode” but will be officially published to all affiliates along with a new version of T&Cs.

Greetings,
mybet Casino & Games Team

Sorry I missed this. I requested access so I could test them properly before deciding whether or not to affiliate with them on Slotjunkies.

For the record: generally good. No reverse time (woohoo!), fast ID process, good cashout time, deposit limits can be set in the site (but only increased via support). The only real negative I coud find was support via email can take 48hrs+ sometimes and Live Chat is only available some of the time. obviously I don't play with bonuses so no comment on them.

I had a positive experience at mybet: Made 800,- only from free spins. Verification and withdrawel processed the next day
