My online slots videos (plus UK AWPs)

Ah i see my bad, mrgreen really needs to find a better way of implementing the hourly popup, as you said a hard reboot of the game is just nonsense. I assume it's not possible to block it with Adblock Plus or something similar? :p

Oh it's just beyond awful, it really is, my absolute No.1 pet hate as a player is a game bombing out on me. Whilst I appreciate that server problems and disconnects do happen, they properly piss me off nonetheless.

So to have a casino implement a game breaking feature on purpose is dreadful. Regulatory requirement or not, there must be a better way of doing it than that.

I did have a bit of a rant about it at the time, but like I said, got left on the cutting room floor :D

Hmm, is MrGreen licensed someplace special then? because i have never seen a popup like that anywhere else. And there is plenty of other casinos that offer all the same games. Usually you only get the hourly NetEnt ingame thing, but that is not a problem. Microgaming slots doesn't even have anything like that so i find it a bit odd that MrGreen would need some special site wide popup.

I had a big rant about that message when I was playing big stakes v/p. I got the message on. it wouldn't let me double my win, had to reboot the game back up, and guess what, my gamble rights had disappeared. and it reset to standard small bet!

I was fuming about it cos it happened about 3 times to me in 3 hours! and I was £3k down at the time. I even opened up a thread about it. and I never complain, or open up threads. I just reply to them.

andy said he would try and get this sorted, but I see zero has happened since, and the message is still on!

chopley

nice one. nice chunk of money for you well done! and a class video as always! hope you got my message the other day about platinum play. you didn't reply to me.

That is pretty bad, now that you mention it i think i might have read that thread a while back.

Hopefully Andy will do something about it soon, this should be pretty high up on the list of things to fix. In fact it should be the number one thing to get fixed, i mean how hard can it be to either allow people to disable it or have it not reload the slot?

exactly, it just pure stupidity. I mean you also get the message on that says you have lost/won since you being playing, do you want to carry on.
this message I find quite helpful, but the other message is a joke.

btw also mr green just changed T/Cs. max bet is £8.00, but the terms are terrible, to vague. nothing on about if you play v/p or b/j or slots doubling. and what the max you can bet using these features.
I have put this info on the casino updated changes thread...

It's bad enough having to simply close the pop-up down, but a hard game reset is pure colossal stupidity. I have never seen that anywhere else. Mr. Green needs to sort it out ASAP. I seem to remember Chopley having an issue with it before, so nothing's been done.

Excellent video as always Chops. That IGT software really is a pile of shit!

If I'm honest though I'm not as keen on videos sponsored by a casino. Generous non-deposit bonuses like this one and the previous one at Mr Green feel to me like the casino is buying exposure and it sours the video for me somewhat. Also, I think the jeopardy of money at stake adds to the excitement of the video, and I can empathise more with the challenge and the risk.

Of course it's your channel and it's obvious that you put a lot of work into the videos, and I enjoy them immensely even if they are "sponsored" (I put the Friday Chopley Video up there with my weekly viewing of The Walking Dead in terms of excitement, and don't actually watch any other TV). I'm also certainly not accusing you of having been "paid off" to give a positive review (if you were then I think Andy will want his money back!), and crucially you do tell the viewer at the start that it's an NDB. It's just a personal observation, I guess.

Keep 'em coming! Looking forward to the next instalment. :)

Valid comments but I must stress there was NO INTERFERENCE WHATSOEVER from Andy on the video's content, I didn't give him an advance viewing of the final video, or anything like that. It was literally just 'would you be interested in an NDB to do a video on the IGT slots at our casino' via PM, to which I said yes.

Beyond that were it not for the offer from Andy there probably wouldn't have been a video at all this week as I wasn't much in the mood after the last two gruelling sessions at Platinum Play (I did comment to that effect in the Mr Green video but again that was something that got dropped onto the cutting room floor for reasons of length).

You could argue that the casino is buying exposure and that's perhaps true, but I made it categorically clear at the start of the video what the scenario was so it was all honest, upfront, and above board in that regard IMO :) (Plus a 25xB WR on a £150 NDB is a loooong way removed from any sort of guaranteed cashout, so I was taking a chance in that respect by committing the time and effort to the endeavour in the first place, and believe me, those IGT slots weren't fucking fun! :D)

Cheers for the comments all, much appreciated :)

Can't guarantee I'll maintain one video per week for much longer as the sessions are getting pretty epic in length (two to four days on and off to make wagering, and then all the time to edit them together), although whilst I'm on a winning roll there is a temptation to continue....

When I take the inevitable kicking or three that are clearly in the post, I'll probably take a break for a short while Grin

There will be a video going up this Friday though, all done and dusted, just finishing off editing it together and lashing the music on.

Any comments with regards to length? Is over two hours just too damn long or are they still watchable at that length? I do leave a lot of footage on the proverbial cutting room floor, but obviously I could snip more out, although there's then the risk of it starting to become a bit disjointed, and I'm already doing stuff like editing short bonus rounds in the montages and suchlike.

I don't want there to be any obvious 'jumps' in there, the idea being that if you're watching the entire thing you are effectively following the session 'with me' as it were and you're never going to be left wondering 'OK what the fuck just happened there then? Where did that money just come from and/or go to?' - that sort of thing.

It's not like I was aiming for over two hours on the last one, it's just how it seemed to naturally edit together and still feel 'right', but comments and feedback are welcomed.

No,2 hours is definitely NOT too long.Your videos are pure entertainment and much better than watching most of the dross that passes as TV programmes these days. Please keep 'em coming.

Whoah whoah whoah! I'm 1hr 26 minutes in, and I'm terrified there's going to be the glaring omissions of Cleopatra and Cleopatra 2!?! Probably the best two IGT Slots???

Did I miss something?

Also as well mate, there is a Cluedo 'board game' style bonus. It's rubbish.

Remember with IGT - a lot of the slots are faithful recreations of their B&M Counterparts - transposed to online - as opposed to NetEnt built exclusively online - so a lot of the finer features and functionality will be missing along the auto play lines etc etc.

Thoroughly enjoyed the rest though mate and avoided the thread so I don't spoil the end :D

Cheers!

OK, done.

My favourite bits:

Great close up/proof of the cuo of tea run

and

The camera following the additional wild metal globe symbol rolled in from the end reel of free spins and down to where it rests at the bottom of the screen.

Heh hee.

Great job - but Cleopatra is a MAJOR MAJOR omission mate. Even the original is a great little slot.

Nice little cashout.

Next job has SURELY got to be attacking Dead or Alive!?!??!?!?!?

It'll kill you mate.

P.S - That Masques of Malarkey Mansion or whatever it was called? What in the name of HOLY F*CK is that slot!?? Thank the lord I've never had the misfortune to stumble across it; just watching someone else play it made me want to defenestrate everything in the room. Amazing.

At least it had a nice soundtrack. :eek2:

OK, done.

That's what I was going to mention last Friday when I had watched the video - he missed the greatest most popular IGT classic out! It's the one I'll always stuff 50 spins into at the beginning, for the lovely 'dang-dang-dang..' of our copper friends. Plus it has autoplay and spins quickly. I do remember Chopley saying a while back he hates it though, or called it 'boring' or something.

hoping theirs a vid this week! Im going to hijack a little bit, Ive been tempted to do what you do and make videos of my sessions, with commentary, however i dont have a camera, so mine would be just the slots on fullscreen and me talking over them, i dont think this would appeal to anyone like chops videos do, but im interested on others opinions, i may try it once and if its crap leave it at that, but ever since i started watching chops first vids ive wanted to give it a shot, considering we play very similar.

Thoughts?

Chopley vs The Complete 3Dice Video Slots Roster

I've got two standard 3Dice VIP match bonuses stacked up, and I intend to use them to see out a bonus round on every single video slot at 3Dice.

Hopefully I'll get there without busting out, and ideally I'll even make a few quid whilst I'm at it, since all of 3Dice's VIP match offers are EV+.....

(Match 1 is £40D + £40B on a 5xD+BWR (100% match) = £400 WR. Match 2 is £80D + £40B on a 5xD(up to B)+BWR (50% match) = £400 WR.)

I was really enjoying that. And then.... Jethro Tull...

Nice video Chopley

I think you really hit on the reason why myself and many others find 3Dice slots a bit boring, the fact that they use the same reels for the features means that they are just the same as the base game but with a multiplier, so there really isn't anything exciting going on in them.

And the rest of the features are pick me features, which isn't exactly my favourite type of bonus.

I'm sure the RTP is good, and the auto play settings are excellent. But they could really do with some more interesting features in their slots.

Great Video

You did it again Chopley. a great video:notworthy I don't play too much at 3Dice anymore because I never seem to hit anything decent and once you stop playing your Vip player goes (just like most casinos I suppose). My Vip status is gone, I think I am just a player now. Anyway I had a good laugh watching the video. I also commend you for sticking it out, if that was me I'd have run when I was up on my first £70. Anyway you captured the mood we all fell when a session goes to crap that is for sure. Ballsy move on the roulette which paid out well. I am glad you got the cashout in the end. Keep em coming. Also any chance sometime in the future you do a Playtech video? Thanks Chopley.

I think it's a model that works OK for some slots but not others.

Arctic Adventure for example routinely gives big multipliers even on 'non Ice Queen' bonus rounds, and you know that any top-tier 5OAK will pay BIG should you hit one, indeed I think one of my biggest ever hits on Arctic was off a basic three scatters non Ice Queen round. Because the rounds are not controlled in any way, that potential for a big win even on what feels like it will be a crap feature is always there.

Super Suits is another one where it works well IMO, as it gives LOTS of free spins in that exciting quad-play format and with the retriggers there's a 12x multiplier available. At the other end of the scale you have slots like Fortune Falls and Ching Ching, where the multipliers are small, the numbers of spins are often small, and the rounds can pay total crap, the un-upgraded three scatters features on Fortune Falls for example are effectively a waste of time. Slotronomicon can go on for AAAAAAGES and still pay bugger all of note.

There are a few slots at 3Dice that I really like and I return to again and again (Arctic, Enchanted, Super Suits, Kyoko being the main ones), and I don't think their fairly simplistic nature really hurts them. Enchanted for example being capable of paying big even off a three scatters trigger if you can get the upgrades to Level 3, as that 550x stake win in there showed. (Max win on three scatters is 1050x stake, not to be sniffed at!)

Also I have a soft spot for Payola, get some tunes on and I love the sound to light shenanigans :)

My God, that was tedium exemplified!
Great casino but not sure I could play their slots too long.
Excellent video, expletive count was up slightly at 27.

Best moment:

"Ahhh fuck! fuck! fuck! 4 fucking pence - that's all you need after Scatterville fucking Skunks has bent you over and shot one up your arse..."

Quality! LMAO......:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

P.S. The sad thing is that I'm looking forward to these videos on Friday more than the football or relaxation that comes at the weekend.

Taste is a strange thing, I honestly find I can lump away at my favourite 3Dice slots for as long if not longer than any slot from any other provider.

Yes I do hit the point where I want to move on from one slot to the next, but I never get to the 'suicide spins' stage that I do with other softwares sometimes, it just never happens.

Awesome video Chopley. Kept me awake until 4am this morning, many a laughs had with a few beers to hand.

I do look forward to your vids. +1 on a DOA session if you think you can bring yourself to do it, perhaps run another slot or two along side it.

Next job has SURELY got to be attacking Dead or Alive!?!??!?!?!?

Will you play Dead or alive in the future and record it?

+1 on a DOA session

a session dedicated to DOA would be freakin awesome

Guys you should stop asking for that. He already answered that one in the SSTS thread:

I won't even touch that filthy slot with real money any more

The audience have spoken.

IMO that would make a pretty boring video to watch as it's a very, very dull slot outside of those 15-20 seconds when you actually get a line of wilds, and there's no guarantee to ever get one (far from it actually). I don't even understand the appeal here TBH, you can watch those 20 seconds videos in the "winners videos" thread, that's as exciting as it gets.

Can you imagine watching the base game for 2 hours? No colorful commentary would save that.

Yeah I honestly can't imagine me doing any sort of session on DoA, I'd maybe slot it into a quad-play rotation at a casino that supports it (Redbet is the only one I can think of that has this option), but other than that I'd rather be sexually molested by a rabid mongoose than spend any serious time with it.

After the 175K spins (or whatever it was) that I did in free play using CheatEngine and NEVER ONCE GOT A FULL LINE OF WILDS, I'm honestly sworn off ever getting seriously involved with DoA again (not that I've ever really properly tussled with it up to now anyway).

I'm also a bit dubious about it how works as well, I have heard dark rumours about getting multiple bonus rounds stacked up at more than one casino before kicking them off.

Probably not going to be a new video up next week anyway, I've not got a session planned for the weekend and I cleaned out my Neteller account from the ATM following my cashout from 3Dice, whereas I'll leave some in there if I'm intending to play again in the near future.

As such next week's video will most likely be a reupload from the original channel.

I agree that DoA would make for an incredibly boring video, so if you are going to ever play it in your video sessions then definitely go with a quad-play casino.
And there are other casinos besides Redbet that supports this, Thrills, CasinoEuro and Harrycasino spring to mind(there might be others as well).

I can't see why that would make any difference, if it does then let me know as DoA have been kicking my ass lately.

Great video Chops! I really like watching 3Dice slots since I never get the chance to play them and they're all unique. I have to admit that I had a sly smile when Slotronomicon dropped in three black hearts so early, immediately after you said it could go on for ages! It was nice to see the recovery from the next deposit at the end of the video, too.

If I may de-rail the thread for a moment: how does the loyalty system at 3Dice work? I understand that your level goes up as you wager cash, and that you must continue to wager cash to stay at the same level? What kind of wagering figures do you need to get your level up, and does it require the same amount of wagering to maintain your VIP level? Or can you play big to get the level up and then maintain with minimal deposits?

The VIP system is a little bit opaque TBH, 3Dice say 'it's entirely playthrough based' but beyond that I don't really have much of an idea.

Certainly your VIP status can increase just as easily when you're winning as when you're losing, so it's not like you have to lose for them to increase it.

Also I made Silver **** without ever going much beyond my usual £50-£150 deposits and low-rolling, although I did go mad last year to win Slotsmeister in June (nearly £2K of deposits in a month) so that boosted my status quite a bit by virtue of all the playthrough.

Also whereas the VIP offers are fairly small at the lower tiers, they're all solidly EV+ so you can effectively think of them as cashback, as long as you're disciplined enough to play them sensibly and cash out when you're ahead.

I know the games there aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I deposit more regularly and consistently at 3Dice than any other casino.

REUPLOAD - Chopley vs Jackpot Party and a £4000 WR

PLEASE NOTE - This is not a new video, it is a reupload from my original YouTube channel.

ORIGINALLY UPLOADED - November 2012

SCENARIO - A £200 deposit on a 100% match with a 20xB WR. So a £200 deposit yields a £400 bankroll with a £4000 WR.

It's a very achieveable WR but remember that Jackpot Party ran all their slots at 92% RTP, with 3% coming from the progressives, which you might not hit for months and months.....

Jackpot Party is no more as a casino so here is your chance to get all dewy-eyed and nostalgic!

You nearly wet yourself when that 5x multiplier came in. Heh hee.

Great job again - and a proper Hollywood ending. Skillz!

Oh, but to reiterate Andy earlier in the thread...

Jethro Tull. :eek2:

Nice one. Thanks!

Jethro Tull are amazing! It was actually my dad who introduced me to them back when I was a teenager and I've been a big fan ever since. I had all their albums on vinyl which I then gave to a girlfriend who was dumping me in a desperate attempt to woo her back (because nothing says love like a load of Jethro Tull records) and years later I then rebought the whole lot again on CD.

Chopley, I must say it's a pleasure listening to you -- ever fancied a career as a sports commentator?:)

I did actually script and narrate a couple of motorsports videos back in my previous life as a VT Editor.

A couple of years later I had the rather strange experience of flicking through the channels on the telly and hearing my voice coming out of it :D

(I only got paid my basic hourly rate for scripting, editing and narrating the whole bloody thing as well, despite the fact that the rights were sold on to broadcast channels!)

Can you imagine Chopley commentating?

So we have Man Utd. v Liverpool on Radio 5 Live:

"And there goes Suarez into the penalty area, foxes Vidic and goes past Jones like he's not there, he's gone down!! Suarez is on the floor and the ref has given a spot-kick! Jones never touched him, Suarez you cheating c*nt, WAS THAT F*CK A PENALTY!! The goofy little tw*t has bent ref Clattenburg over and fired one up his arse, and now the Utd. fans are understandably f*cking fuming, I hope Gerrard misses the f*cker and it stays 0-0 for f*cks sake...."

I have to agree. I've only watched three of your vids so far Choppers (watched the versus 243 ways slots and the vid where BDBA absolutely crushed you after a great start on Avalon II which made you go suicide spins on IR).....but they are absolutely f**king great fun and great entertainment. Love the swearing, the oohs and aahs and the eff off you bastard/c**ts/etc......and maybe best of all.....I'm learning something about which slots are what level of variance...all in all....fantastic work

PS Nice to see you get that winning result when it was starting to look a bit hopeless. I've ran like the most horrendous case of chronic diorrhoea this week so can't do any more gambling until the start of April, so I think a trip to Youtube to subscribe to your channel to watch some more vids will help with the inevitable withdrawal symptoms I'm going to have for the next 10 days :)

I never ever had the pleasure of playing at Jackpot Party. Kind of sad that I will never get the chance to. Some of the slots look pretty cool.

I would have immediately run to my lawyer - infringement of copyrights... you should get paid!

whats on the menu for next weeks video?

Just another reupload from the old channel I'm afraid, not slotting at all at the moment really - totally addicted to Hearthstone :D

(I did my usual round of the pub AWPs this afternoon as that is genuinely free money, but unfortunately they're borderline impossible to film due to the nature of the beast.)
