My online slots videos (plus UK AWPs)

The YouTube channel is no more I'm afraid, there is the potential for some 'real life' crossover that I'd rather not risk.

Sorry about that![/QUOTE

I'm sorry they're gone. A bit baffled.
All those hours of uploading, gone for good.] RIGHT, 1.assuming the IOM DoND-forcers club (military wing) hasn't put a contract out on you (unlikely as you'd just need to take the AWP vids down plus they contained no details of method) 2. Casinos have identified you and threatened you with copyright,OR marked you as a bonus abuser. 3. The crap casinos you did don't like the videos as they encourage negative comments from people like me. 4. Mrs Choppers has caught on to your uploading addiction. 5. You have been warned of accounts being closed. 6. no clues by deleting certain vids - the LOT went! 7. You've been recognized by someone who matters, who thinks you're a big gambler?

I know you'll keep us guessing, but I can only come up with those reasons. Anyway, thanks for the past entertainment, much appreciated. I even quoted you when getting 5x wild sapphires on MegaBDBA -
YES! We like that! We f*cking like that! Come on!

And you are spared the ludicrous attempt to get the bars-full on Starburst.............

lol!
"Yes! yes! yes! Get the fuck in there!!" *shaking camera*

Friday nights just won't be the same without my 90 min of new Chopley video.

This maybe my first posting here but i feel a profound sense of loss :( .

Its right up there with that awful sunday morning awakening to news of a crash in a french tunnel and star wars :a new hope when obi wan was cruelly taken from us.

Like the previous poster it almost had become part of my sat morning ritual to view chopleys videos.

All i can say is its obviously been done for the right reasons so good luck and all the best in the future and thaks for the hours upon hours of entertainment..

Oh, I remember when you said about NetEnt guy who may knock to your door then bend you over the couch and do something to your ass... :(

Feel so sorry about you Chopley!

P.S. Was it one of Scarface developers?

New channel now online. All old content remains unavailable for now as I did a 'hard delete' of the original channel but I will try to get around to reuploading all the old videos to the new channel in time.

Background reading for the first video on the new channel here - https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/chopleys-grand-netent-adventure-at-mr-green.60748/

Enjoy! :)

Brilliant, shame about the disembodied sound at the end when you swapped cameras, but utterly absorbing, great commentary and a good supply of expletives, especially when Twit Spit dropped the 80 quid in....:D
Meant I didn't have to hear and see DeadEnders and Drollby City that my missus watches.
Thanks....:notworthy

Yeah I wasn't happy with the sound quality from the One X at all but as I was on a time budget (getting the session in on a Sunday afternoon whilst Mrs Chopley and Chopley Jnr were at the in-laws so I knew I wouldn't get disturbed) I had no choice but to go with it.

On top of that, the video quality from the Canon just isn't up to the job either IMO (although it does record surprisingly good sound), 480p in a 4:3 format isn't very 2014 - so today I decided to invest in a bit of equipment (not much mind) and bought a Panasonic HC-V210 camcorder from the local PC World, pairing it up with a Class 10 32GB SDHC card.

Just over £200 for the camera and the card, and it records at 1080p widescreen with stereo sound. (I had a read around and it's pretty much the best camcorder in the under £200 bracket, and TBH it's an amazing little piece of kit for the money.)

I've done a test record with it, lobbed the clip into Sony Vegas Movie Studio and then rendered it back out, and it's massively improved from before. (Sound quality is about the same, but the picture quality is a huge step forward, plus it's got a proper zoom on it, it maintains focus when zooming in on close details and text, and so on.)

So the next video will be a widescreen 1080p presentation!

I've also arranged to get our line upgraded from ADSL to VDSL, as uploading the video took around 16 hours (!), so I definitely need more upstream bandwidth for the next one, especially if the file size is potentially going to be larger.

have you looked into video conversion changing the format can reduce the upload size.. 90 minutes dvd quality using xvid (divx) codec is about 700 meg or you can compress more with other codecs inbox me if you need some help with this you should be able to maintain high quality also uploading it below hd quality will also speed the uploads up inbox me if you need any info about this sort of thing im happy to help great upload to :)

really enjoyed it, i did skip through to the games i was more interested in, but its nice watching someone else and you have a great presenting style

2 things that could improve it, a steady camera - maybe a

and some kind of annotation, quick links in the youtube video description that jump through the videos to each specific slot,

i had a quick test with fraps purely for bonus rounds, but likewise this generates huge files that would need encoding before uploading to youtube, and of course you would need some sort of audio capture also.

But definitely keep them coming

For the encoding I'm limited by what Sony Vegas Movie Studio offers, to which the answer is 'not much' - although I must confess I've never investigated getting any extra codecs available to it. I just use a basic .wmv renderer, 6Mbps/1280x720 at 30fps. If there's a way to render out of SVMS using XVID I'd be interested in that though :)

The 'wobbly cam' phenomenon should be improved by me using the new camcorder as that's got auto image stabilisation built in as a feature, I had a play around with it last night and it does seem to work really well. (I could zoom into the details of my balance at Mr Green from the other side of the room and the picture was stable.)

I have considered getting a tripod but I quite like to do the 'emotes' with the camera when something happens that I do or don't like :D I'm hoping that the new camera will give the best of both worlds, the ability to zoom in and out a bit and focus in on what I'm interested in filming, but also eliminating the worst of the wobbly-cam stuff :)

3Dice Silver **** VIP Match Session

3Dice session, didn't pan out as I'd have wanted it to in some regards but does show the nature of the variance of their slots reasonably well. (Not the most exciting video this one, truth be told, even by my own not exactly lofty standards.....)

First video done using the new camera as well, although I don't appear to have quite grasped filming in widescreen properly so I'm constantly off to the right of centre :D

Great video Chopley:notworthy I have learned alot from your videos and had a great laugh as well. Very entertaining.

Thanks

Ah that last 10% of the session brining your balance up was awesome, I was almost certain that you would bust out there for a while but since it was a couple of minutes left on the video it had med expecting a big hit :).

It was just a shame I got caught up on the two slots really, as I wanted to show a bit more of the '3Dice slots real estate' as it were. Enchanted Spins worked OK I thought in that it's always capable of dropping a session-saving win into your lap, (which indeed is exactly what it did!), but once I got behind the curve so far on Kyoko's Quest it was only ever going to be about damage limitation.

I'll definitely have to try and get a proper session in there at some point for a video, but maybe replicate what I did at Mr Green and try to get around every single slot and show off a feature on each, there are only 20 multi-line video slots on the books so it's certainly doable.

Good video quality and nice save at the end. I was hoping for some Arctic Adventure though. :D

I'm not sure what it is with 3Dice slots but I get bored of them very quickly and I got that feeling even when watching the video. When I've not played them in a while I get excited at first but after an hour or so I get bored to the point that I don't want to play anymore (which is unusual for me). I really can't explain why.

I can understand that with Kyoko's Quest because I was getting bored with it myself (three scatters is the most common trigger by a country mile so I knew I was onto a loser there, although I will plug away at it until I get a five scatters on at least one of the bonus rounds), but for a slot like Enchanted Spins or Arctic Adventure, they are always capable of dropping a seriously big win on you out of nowhere. I've had two wins on Arctic Adventure of around 1500x stake (one a bit under, one a bit over IIRC), and two or three on Enchanted Spins up in the 600-700x stake range. I've lost count of the hits that Enchanted Spins has done in the 150-350x stake range 'cause it does them on a regular basis.

I'm not saying that you're wrong and I'm right, but it's interesting to see how we feel differently about slots. Personally speaking I hate slots that do a huge amount of fireworks and sound and light to pay very little, Playboy is one that springs to mind, or indeed a lot of the new WMS slots, Zeus III for example which makes a commotion as if YOU'VE JUST WON THE ENTIRE WORLD when in actual fact you've had an overly protracted bonus round with lightning and wilds that do nothing and so on and you've won 75x your stake.

Seriously, I'll take Enchanted Spins over that any day, a slot that you can sort of 'zone in' with and 'read' the reels before it tells you what you've won, I mean, do you want to have a guess at how those 'rolling wilds' work on Playboy? Because MG sure as hell won't tell you.

I appreciate that 3Dice's slots might be a bit 'stripped out' for some tastes, but when it comes down to brass tacks it's all about the RTP (and 3Dice is solid at around 95%) and the potential of the slot to kick out a good win (variance, effectively), and again, 3Dice cover all the bases in that regard. Yeah there's no IR/Avalon2/243-ers psycho hits in there, but they do have the progressive slots as well (albeit with sane jackpots).

I'm not saying they're the only software I want to play (because they're not), or that everything is perfect (because it's not, I still think Arctic is a maladjusted monster of a thing and is to be handled with extreme caution), but 'boring' is most certainly one word that I wouldn't use to describe 3Dice's slots :)

FTR, I don't want to bash 3Dice because they are awesome people.

It's not about the RTP or payout potential but you know the feeling that you had when played RTG? That it's a Windows 95 era software and all slots (even the newer ones) feel old? That's how I feel when I play at 3Dice.

Maybe it's just the themes/colors or the fact that there are not many slots to play.

Chopley vs Starspins and the £8000 SUB

Probably not an outfit you've heard of, Starspins is a UK-facing casino sporting WMS and IGT slots. We were chatting about the site over at the Jackpotty forums (a UK-based and focused AWP/FOBT/clubber set of forums) and the place seemed sound enough, players getting paid without issue, so I decided to give them a go myself.

It offers a 200% SUB up to a maximum of £200, so I deposited £100 to receive the maximum £200 bonus to give me a £300 bankroll.

The only problem with this scenario is the 40xB WR, which means I have to wager £8000 from a £300 bankroll. There is no option to forfeit the bonus, so it's an old-school 'wager the full £8000 before a penny can be withdrawn' scenario.

NOTE - The sinister YouTube Borg Overlords recognised both of the trance tracks I used (even though I only featured about a minute of each and thought they were relatively obscure), and has warned me that the video is not available in a long list of countries, of which the USA appears to be one I'm afraid.

If you do get a 'THIS VIDEO IS NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY' message then either:

1) Breathe a sigh of relief as you can use the two hours of your life for something far more interesting.

or

2) Have a Google around for 'How to watch blocked YouTube videos' - there are plenty of ways around it. (An anonymous web proxy is probably the most straightforward.)

Remind me NEVER to play that awful slot you started on, Alice. No wonder you were swearing. It's almost on par with TFTUT.
There you were on Ruby Slippers, begging for Glinda, I half expected the live chat to offer you 'l*cky d*st'.
The 'jackpot' feature is a complete fucking joke. Almost like your PC has froze.
You never played IGT - surprising as slots like Cleopatra you can play for ever on £1 spins with a balance of 500 like you had.

Well done on the 450 profit, thanks for the video.
Very methodical and calculated, but that's how we win though!
