My online slots videos (plus UK AWPs)

Its a good job one of my calm days happens to be happening just right now :p :p

Gave up cursing ages back, on here and in real life, reason is so simple too, no one cares, no one listens, lmao! :p

Its very rare for me to curse aswell. (unless we are talking like voodoo-stuff, i do that all the time)
Im a freelancing bum now, mostly working for my brother, but i have spent a couple years working in preschool.
That kind of forced me to use a bit "softer" language, and i felt no need to toughen it up once i started working in another field.

Ill save it all for when i get old. Then ill start cursing like a sailor.
Need something to scare those darn kids off my virtual reality lawn.

ahh, maybe you can help please

I tried to set something up but TV does not appear to recognise signal from PC.

I have the cable (old style multi pin monitor) PC end - HDMI (JVC TV brought only this year)

Both connect physically but regardless of which input I change the TV to it won't pick it up?

Ah I watch direct from my SMART TV via my Youtube Channel which I have linked on my TV...
I just use the Youtube app on my TV which is linked / paired with my Youtube account.

No cables or setup to be done for me...

It is possible to do all this? :p :o

I have a YT channel but wouldn't know where (or maybe even want) to start lol.

Someone mentioned a converter for about a £5'er so looking into that now :)

If you have a smart-tv with the youtube app, all you need to do is search up chopleys channel.
tv will need internet tho, but im assuming you have wi-fi in your house?

Yes, just sorted that bit lol,, watched him just on smart TV via wi-fi, time for Sat evening wonder TV now tho so had to switch off for now.

I want to be able to watch footy stream and also have huge life size scatters for the odd sesh! - This is the part I brought cable for and am struggling with.

Do you have any hdmi ports on your pc? (kind of guessing no since you got another cable)
If you do, i would try picking up a hdmi-hdmi cable. Wont cost much unless you need a very long one.

Eh, just move face closer to scren. Scatters will appear way bigger.
:D

No mate, had it built bespoke (with a lot of help from mods and members here) and although we got a great result for my budget at the time, I personally forgot about the finer things such as HDMI ports etc :o

(tried to link you to the thread but the search function on here is as awful as ever)

Part 2 of the session.

You don't need to worry about the Seiren picking up SSD fan noise, my high-spec laptop gets plenty of load running slots and Bandicam together and it doesn't come out on the videos.

Chopley , in your past did you have success with the £10 skill machines ? There were probably as many skill machines getting cleared every week than the AWP’s , though I only really know the era around the late 1980’s to early 2000.

The quiz players probably had more facial hair than the fruity players though

But there were also a few all skill machines that didn’t have question banks to remember.

Was it the same in IOM as UK back then ?

We used to regularly 'empty' a true skill (SWP) - usually about 3-4 £10 JP's per machine call "Chase the Queen", there was another in the early 90's but I can't recall the blumin name of it :o

Also we got pretty good at getting a few £5'ers here and there from the good ol' Crystal Maze.

When there were more of us in the pub, we got used to the questions on the "Give us a break" quiz machine and could win most night's. However the tricky thing had a 'reserve' set of questions which were so crazy no one could possible know the answer such as how many grains of sand on Blackpool beach etc..

Jono777,

I know that one well .......

If I remember correctly if was by JPM called £10 challenge , and had a light matrix of 20p’s in the top glass going up a trail from 20p to £10 , with some extra lives and £1 coins at the top..

Bottom glass was just four Queens back of card or front , pick the one that was lit last ..

That is the only game ever I managed to beat , could turn £1 into £20 or 30 on one machine most nights , unless somebody else was there first .. but I only knew 2 places that had it in Manchester at the time ...

Just needed a quick eye

That would have been probably 1989/ 1990 / 1991 era ?

Give Us A Break was a fucker , I never had a chance on that.

We had different legislation for SWPs over here (they weren't legal, basically), so I lost touch with them when I moved over here in 1996.

Played them an awful lot in the early-mid 90s when I was still in the UK, got very good at The Crystal Maze (all versions) and The Mating Game.

We never played the quiz based ones enough to get any traction with them.

I could pay for a night out with The Crystal Maze and The Mating Game though.

There's a playlist on my channel just for SWPs :)

i.e.

@ChopleyIOM

Just went for a pint in a pub I wasn't in before and came across these 2 slots, believe both under Barcrest license.

Alice and the Mad Hatter with a €50.00 JP and Star Wars a new Hope with a €70.00 JP.
Played 20 on Star Wars and managed to gamble the high-low to €35.00 and landed on 11, I knew what was gonna happen but still I gambled lower and lo and behold, it landed on number 12 to NOT award me the JP.. This is so common on all these pub fruities, to screw you over on the high-lo gamble all the time..

So needless to say, lost the 20 and left it like that, enjoyed a few guinness and went home.. :)

Alice & The Mad Hatter is a Betcom game, it's on a £100 jackpot :) It's also quite doable on a straight force, video below. (Betcom have been using the same basic codebase since the £25 jackpot days!)

Star Wars A New Hope is a properly 'doable' machine, video below, if you can get the hang of the method, there's some genuine money to be made on it. (The fact it gave you a natural £35 suggests very strongly that no one else is on it, as when they're being done by players they just won't get that happy.)

Alice & The Mad Hatter is a clone of Kiss My Axe in the video below. Star Wars is a really rare sight these days, and I'm surprised players aren't on top of it, is it in a really out of the way pub or something?

Yeah it is a pub in a small village about 3 miles from where I live...
Very few people in it and I expect there is not many people here proficient in pub fruity gambling at all...

I never was lucky on the UK pub fruities and I have no clue how to play them properly, that said I emptied loads of Dutch fruities back in the days as I obviously knew how to play those.. :D
I gambled the €35.00 all the way up from a €2.00 win but last step it screwed me. :(

Was fun to play Star Wars and tried a few features but eventually lost my 20 quid, gave me decent play time though...

Most slots in Ireland are all imported, as the pay table shows all prizes in £
But have been converted for Euro coins.

A poor show from Videoslots.

Yep - all the signs of a casino loading the books ready for a sale. My guess only. There are undoubtedly market pressures and possibly a choice between this and running races and other promotions, but that's no reason to water down the beer to that extent, especially if other MGA-based casinos like Casumo and LV don't.

All gone already! It was all bonus funds by the end of the video so I had to complete wagering, I got up to £330 playing Jack & The Beanstalk, then Reactoonz took the whole lot on 40p spins with only two Gigantoonzs to show for it, both of which paid less than 50x.

Absolute bag of shit that game!

I am now back at 3Dice :)

New BTG slot, crowds go wild etc.

You were fortunate there - when making the video I played the bugger for 2 days and never got past 12x multiplier. I also never once got the gamble to the top.

Over 50 hours of incredible entertainment for £49.99, sounds like a bargain to me!

You're an authentic game reviewer to me Chopley, I get the feeling with other reviewers they play too many games and perhaps do too many reviews, and they lose the enjoyment, freshness and the normal player's perspective, reviews kind of done in autopilot.

I think the software companies would be better advised to send you some free review copies, for the chopley treatment and assessment  after watching your vid I'm definitely interested in the game. 50 hrs also feels like a reasonable amount of gameplay, btw did you ever play that xbox game, no man's sky?

Thanks mack :)

As I say in the video I'm not remotely pretending to be a 'professional' games reviewer, but hopefully my enthusiasm for The Outer Worlds came through.

I bought No Man's Sky after the big 'Next' expansion but it still just didn't really click with me at all, too much resource micromanagement and a bit too freeform for my tastes, I like games to be driven along by a proper narrative.

Do you take requests?
I heard a rumour that you had played this game.
Most ive heard of it has been pretty negative, but since you liked it, it would be interesting to hear your side.

I agree. Selling off or floating on the stock market was a question that I asked last year after Dan left and during VS implimenting the first of many changes. I wonder what their next move will be to water down the beer even further?

Hopefully there's no problem with me starting this thread, if there is I'm sure I'll be told!

Please note this is a personal channel and is in no way a commercial venture for me, so I'm not making any money at it (quite the opposite in fact!), there's no affiliation going on or anything like that. It's simply a case of me enjoying slotting (both online slots and UK AWPs down the local pubs), and I've enjoyed watching other people's escapades on their own YouTube channels, so I figured I'd just start pointing my phone at my playing adventures, grab some videos, and upload them to my own channel.

Somewhere along the line I started to add an increasingly jabbering commentary as well.

In the last few weeks I've been using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 to properly compile multiple clips of a single slot into a full sort of 'session review'. For the first three weeks it was 3Dice (Medieval Moolah was Week 1, Ching Ching was Week 2 and Fortune Falls was Week 3), for this weekend I've done Hitman (MG).

My intention is, where time and spare cash permits, to get one slot done per week, edit all the footage together, and upload it to the channel.

Please be aware that my language does sometimes enter the realms of the profane, so probably NSFW and/or when delicate ears are around.

The latest additions are the Hitman video and also the subsequent MG wagering hell that I've seen once too many times for comfort now! :icon_evil

great

New BTG slot amazes everyone with its awesomeness.

That cheered my Saturday evening up a bit! Still laughing.

P.S. Your abandoned houses are now filled with anarchists, junkies and squatters.

ADVICE - Sell them before Corbyn seizes them.

Old UK lo-tech shenanigans, back to 1990/1991 for this one!

Hi!, I had the exact machine at home, I found an 'empiter' by accident, basically as I was short of tokens i would switch off the machine if i won the jackpot for it to reset, one of the times I did this and the built up cash was an odd 10p, I.e.. £2.30, the payout in the machines was 20p and £1 cash tubes and 20p token. when I collected it on the odd number the count down went beyond zero and kept on paying out, luckily it reset itself after switching it off and on again, anyone want to see it works on the emulator? I'd love to know, cheers
