That was good news re your laptop, I was concerned with all this RMA talk an asus repair job was being considered...a brand new 2k laptop should be shipped and working in perfect order. And you never know when there is one fault whether that is a sign of more parts failing early later on.
I bet you were well pleased when that new boxed laptop arrived...if I was being critical I'd say a goodwill gesture for all the hassle ought to be wending it's way to your ebuyer account [maybe from asus] but I guess that would be in a perfect world.

TBH mack I'm really happy with how EBuyer handled the whole thing, when it comes to stuff like this they're literally just a 'box reseller', so I can't fault them at all, their margin on it probably wasn't much of any significance, but I got the best of their customer support.

Stuff goes wrong sometimes, sometimes stuff is faulty, and TBH they dealt with that really well.

Overall it makes me more likely to buy from them in the future, not less likely.

Yeah that is very true, all the courier costs etc..the end result is what really matters, and ebuyer came out tops there [ been nice though if asus could've gifted you a voucher ]

Yes of the two I definitely preferred Berrini's Fortune, I ended up playing it a fair bit more over the next couple of days. Didn't manage a 5 scatters trigger but did get a couple of four scatters triggers, alas I didn't hit anything great off them.

The combination of picks, cash prizes, free spins and the Deal Or No Deal mechanic all in a single bonus round works really well.

As for bonuses the SUB at 3Dice is horrid and always has been, where the value lies with bonuses at 3Dice is in the VIP rewards which are awarded on the 1st, 11th, and 21st of the month. If you can get a decent Silver VIP status (*** or better from memory) they get to be moderately decent, and they're all EV+.

The problem wasn't getting the money to 3Dice with Neteller (that worked fine as recently as last December and I suspect would still work fine), the problem was adding funds to my Neteller account with my debit card. This is despite my Neteller account showing as 'verified' and it being the same debit card I've used there before.

So I was just like 'Fuck it' and used EcoPayz instead.

Here's a bonus round from a 4 scatters trigger paying 248x stake (including the trigger), but yes, the real whoppers are going to come from that top-tier 5OAK landing with a big multiplier.

I've got it running now, the 4 scatters triggers aren't that hard to hit, but the 5 scatters is a tough bugger to hit. (Haven't managed it yet, and I've done a decent wedge of spins on it.)

As you can see, I came very close to hitting a big pay on a top-tier 5OAK on a 12x multiplier! (You can also see how the upgrades work for 4 scatters, and all the values are boosted again for a 5 scatters trigger.)

I mean, yeah i know its the best choice for a reason, but surely it must be possible to get a better outcome even if they recommend taking.

IIRC I did one where I ended up with a better result by ignoring the advice, but from the few times I've tried it, I've nearly always ended up worse off so I now always just go with best choice.

Was wondering whether they'd ever be a part 3, part 1 and 2 were fascinating listening for me, [glad you've also got a pt 4 & 5 planned in the pipeline] the candour and humour about difficult personal periods.

Have listened to pt 1 twice and will likely listen to pt2 again. Even if you're not a gambler or fruits player, the personal insights into human nature/addiction and tales from life are very compelling. I commend you Mr Chopley for doing these biographical videos. I'm just listening/watching to it now you're so good at bringing past events to life.

No problem mack, they're not supposed to be cheery tales, and they're not much fun to record either, but I think it should be OK to talk about addiction. If there's any 'point' to this series, it's that it shouldn't need to get as bad as it did for me, it's OK to talk about it, and it's OK to ask for help, and it's possible to get better.

I always knew there would be a part 3, I remember the day you posted the photos on fruit forums just after it happened ... and those photos have always stuck with me for many years,, and they have always warned me against the crossing the gambling for fun / addiction line, and i knew that you would recall these photos after watching parts 1 and 2, i must say i shed a tear today listening to the Vlog as i knew what was coming, ... but it was still extremely emotional ... Mr M you have a fantastic wife... most women would have upped and ran ... i'm sure she will watch the Video and be proud that you can express the situation so honestly ... my best wishes to you both ...... all the best ....
