Well, at least the spam was true then. I got another one today.

It simply cannot be excused as a "newsletter" that I somehow "purchased a subscription" for, as I get many, many copies, all exactly the same.
It would be like subscribing to a weekly magazine, and getting one or two copies of it every day for the week.

Sooo... at least this is one spam campaign that's not clogging my Hotmail account -- I am presuming it's only because Palace Group no longer accept US players, because I always get at least the early wave of any wildass casino spam in at least one Hotmail account. Which, to me, means the Palace spam isn't merely broadcast mailed to random email addresses. What is their source for email addresses??

It's the SUBJECT line that gives the game away though:-

And the sender?

If the sender domain is true, this looks like a big time spammer out of Belize, the same place much of the Fortune Lounge spam came from.

Belize is pretty much a "free for all", with companies able to hide behind secrecy laws. Belize City is a kind of "anything goes freeport", a huge industrial park known by Fortune Lounge players as "Driftwood Bay". It is home to many scammers, spammers, companies that would rather hide the ownership details and avoid answerability to any proper authority.
There are, of course, legitimate businesses there, who simply appreciate the lack of "red tape" and low taxation, and do not seek to use the location as a means to hide from dissatisfied customers.

Seems odd therefore, that this spammer even managed to get an affiliate account in the first place, let alone get away with this spamming campaign for so long.

If we can at least deter the "reputable" casinos from employing spammers, there will be some small victory won, and this may then lead to the fight against the rogues being that much easier, as we can say that ANY casino that spams you is a rogue joint PERIOD.

It can't be rocket science, this spammer does not move around, always "majorbonuses", and always the exact same copy, including the reference to Casinomeister (as Csinomeister) that Bryan asked to be removed "right now".

I wonder if the UK Gambling Commission can do something about this, I will ask.

The advert is also ILLEGAL, since on eof the currencies shown is the UK Pound, and we have it on file from Mario that the Pound is ONLY for the use of UK Resident players. The fact that the "Kahwanake" seal is on the spam renders the whole banner ad illegal under the recent announcement by the UK Gambling Commission to give the Kahwanake the "thumbs down" from entering the whitelist.
In order to make this legal(ish), Playshare will have to relicense to an EEA country, or one on the UK Whitelist.

Under UK law, Playshare is responsible for it's own employees and subcontractors, and affiliates are subcontractors in this respect, being paid for work done, rather than a set salary. This is the same relationship that exists between assurance companies and their commission only salesforces.

Yes, the currency DOES rotate, however their terms do NOT give any choice as to currency, as a few players have found out by getting their fingers burned. It is because of this term, that it can be said that ANY mention of the UK Pound, however formulated, is specifically directed at UK players, and no other country; thus, it falls foul of the UK Gambling Commission regulations that specify that only whitelisted and EEA located casinos may advertise to UK players. The Gambling Commission have replied. They can only act themselves if the casino is regulated within the UK. They seem to lack the ability to take action against whitelisted casinos, and I suspect they might be powerless to enforce the rules about advertising into the UK either. Spin Palace itself is regulated in Malta, having moved from Kahnawake. It would be a matter for Malta, or the EU, however, the EU have yet to reach an agreement on a common approach to online gambling, with some even going for a ban.

Spam Palace "Csinomeister" recommended again!!

This is back again, exact same format, and even endorsed by "Csinomeister"

This has been absent for a couple of months now, but has to be the same spammer as the copy is identical.

Can we assume that his affiliate account was NEVER YANKED, and he has just kept quiet for a bit only to resume the endless spam again.

The lazy **** can't even be bothered to HIDE the fact it is him again by making even the slightest attempt to redesign this "newsletter", to which I unsubscribed some while ago when it was promoting Grand Mondial.

This shows great arrogance, and confidence, that whatever the level of complaints, nothing of substance will ever be done to make it too hard for him to continue to profit from this spamming.

Why only Spam Palace, how about Ruby Fortune, or Mummy's Gold for a bloody change, at least inject some variety
