Hi,

The other day I was playing Isis mega Mola and surprisingly enough I hit the random Jackpot game. Not expecting much from it I hit the button to launch the wheel and after 2 or 3 clockwise rounds the wheel slowed down and almost stopped on the white color (3.000.000 jackpot) to land on the red just next to it (mini jackpot 8,00 EUR).

I was gutted but then though that it was done purposely to tease me.

Did any of you ever have the same experience?

It happens all the time.
The chances of landing on the Jackpot segment is NOT proportional to the total number of segments.
The spinning wheel is just "eye candy" to make the game more exciting... for some people

Yep...I kind of knew..but it is also kind of teasing you to play more which I think is a bit of a bitch if you don't know what's going on in the background...Random numbers rather than speed and a nidle ;-)

Did you not know, that slots are designed to make you want to do "just one more spin" ?
"Near wins", are the #1 intensive, that makes people keep spinning. You "almost won", so maybe next spin....no...you DIDN'T win, and so the chance of you winning on the next spin, is excactly the same as it was, on the one you DIDN'T win on ;) (assuming the slot is random).

Yep....on a one reel slot the blanks to either side of the jackpot symbol are weighted most heavily. The idea is that if the punter keeps seeing the jackpot symbols landing just OFF the line, then they're so close to landing on it. psyche...

On the other hand, congrats on getting a spin at least! I haven't been able to get a spin no matter which game I play, I feel like I've been blackballed or something.

Anyone who can help me how often you hit the jackpot feature with 25cent bet? Appr. ?

I use to play this game all the time when I have cashed out on MG casinos. But I always play one line with 25cent. I have won big sometimes with hundreds of dollars. But never hit the jackpot feature with tens of thousands of spins. Maybe I should switch to another machine on those few dollars after cashout....

I don't know if you hit more frequently on higher bets, but you can hit on low ones. The guy who won one of the big ($2Mill+) jackpots on Mega Moolah did it with a 25 cent bet. I once got a jackpot spin betting 9 cents on MMSummertime which surprised the heck out of me.

Yeah I really don't think it matters what your bet is. I'm sure there are people who high roll but never seem to get the jackpot feature.

I don't know what the odds are with a low bet but if you read the disclaimer on LOTR it says : "The higher the bet the bigger the chance to win the progressive jackpot", it must feel kind'o frustrating for someone you spent hundred in Hi-roller spins to find out that someone got it with 25cts LOL.

On the other hand how high do you reckon LOTR will get before someone rips it?

If you're betting low you get more spins per deposit, so in a way you actually get more chances to win that way too.

With $0.25 and a $3m jackpot I would expect the JACKPOT to be worth around $0.02 (around 8% return from the jackpot), so that implies that you win the actual jackpot every 150 million spins at $0.25.

I think u gotta bet high well with mega moolah anyway I have only ever hit the wheel when ive been betting 5.00 or 6.25 and only ever on mega moolah. I did hit the wheel 4 times in the space of an half hour once ,two mini's and two minors I got.But was hardly worth the £800 I ended of losing in jig time betting so high.

I cant afford to bet like that now, that was long before the world went bankrupt.

I rarely played MM JP slots for long long time, get pissed off when knowing the MM JP often won by a bet size $ 0.5 or less, while I used to do 6.25 a spin for 10,000s spins without even get major(not mega) JP once.

Until recently, the LOTR was linked to MM JP. LOTR as one of my most loved slots, I was not given a choice. Since the new version came out, 10s K of dollars, I have dumped in this slots and hit the wheel more than 100 times. I start doubting that "the high you bet the bigger chance you won" is false.

Yes, the wheel stops near the mega or major so often, it is an eye candy. Once or twice, you may feel the tickle, after that, it is painful to watch.

This is just one bad weekends, when the lotr turned bad to worse to worst, often after the major was hit. 8k + 1.2K in bonus, max hit is 442 at $ 6 a spin.

one bad weekends on lotr.jpg

Hey plasticnote!!! How much do you make for a month man? Just with your deposits I would be happy enough!!! Anyway I read this story the other day about a suedish student getting a 6.000.000 EUR jackpot out of a promotional a 0.50 Ctsf ree spin on a casino. And no, on that particular casino the winnings out of the free spins were not capped :) Imagine the rage of a bankrupt high roller reading this news :-(.

Just to say...I believe that the odds of winning the mega jackpot on this one, like others are pretty slim. Like 1/1000.000.000. They should have made an Xtra bonus game or the choice between different free spins features to make the game more exciting. The way I see it now, it's boring and winning 3,00 EUR after 15 useless free spins gets dull quickly.

I would not spend my wages on that one. Just a few high roller spins on a lucky day would suffice me. Thank god it is not an addictive machine !!!!

It's the complete opposite of addictive. I closed my account on virtually all MG casinos based solely on my disappointment in the new LOTR slot. Absolutely useless load of shitty nonsense.

Though true in essence, that is a bit of a misleading claim.

The higher your bet, the more frequently you will get to the bonus wheel... BUT it's still proportional; i.e. You will get to the bonus wheel X-times in every $1000 worth of bets whether you are betting 25c/spin or $25/spin.
AND once you get to the bonus wheel the chances of any prize are EXACTLY the same regardless of the bet value of the triggering spin.
Anything else would not be fair.

"sometimes, I make a lot:lolup: if wall street got drunk, otherwise, I am in red, much much more than I lost in slots, if it is a hangover, like now."

One thing I could not understand is that all these f...king huge JPs have been won on lower bets.

50cents, 25cents bet ...

I hope All these Mega JPs providers show us, the history, like each and every time the Mega JP or Major JP was won, what was the bet size.

We will know if that is true "The higher you bet, the bigger chance you won.":confused::confused:

I think the "the bigger chance you won" has to be replaced with "the bigger chance you will see the JP feature, however, hardly to win anything".

As an Australian Player playing MG for many many years, never seen any australian players won any major JPs online.

So is it because we are less important market than EU?

Cheers

Hi KK:

as I understand, for a limited bankroll (let 's say 100$), with a rtp 89%, and high virance like new LOTR. you bet $1 a spin, or you bet $.25 a spin, which bet size, do you think can achive more wage amount? I think the lower bet will. If so, , based on what you mentioned, the lower bet will have more chance to see the bonus wheel.
I think, we have to consider the higher you bet, the higer chance you bust before you see the JP under limited bankroll.

Just for discuss;

Cheers

I agree with KK... I have had the Jackpot Wheel appear on varying bets. 0.25c ... 0.60c and all the way from $6 to $25...

You probably would achieve the Jackpot Wheel quicker with bigger bets. But the probability also exists that you may see it with smaller bets. I had a run at it the other day. $1300 start balance $3 - $6 bets on LOTR... Bonus wheel 3 x at Max, a few thousand spins and nothing bigger than 30x bet. End result - 0 Balance

I have hit the MM Isis on $25 bets and also noticed that once the game kinda eats away at you, the wheel is more common.

Anyways, maybe there is a certain amount that needs to be wagered before the wheel is triggered. By playing Higher bets, you achieve the wagering quicker and see the wheel quicker. With smaller bets, somebody may have done this for you in part and its a matter of you completing that wagering to see the wheel... Just a guess with no absolute certainty though...

Yes :p

Only kidding. But I do find it odd that we're all encouraged to bet high to stand a better chance of winning big JPs, yet as you say (and as we all know), the biggest JPs are won by low-rollers by and large. Or by and small ;)
