I would like to take this opportunity to thank the countless numbers of people here on the Casinomeister website for supporting me during this difficult time. I am pleased to announce today that (through the efforts of CIPHER and his team of people) I have reached an agreement with Hampton Casino and with Delano Casino regarding my balances at their casinos. Although it would be inappropriate for me to discuss the specific terms of those agreements, I can say that my accounts have been settled to the satisfaction of all parties. Once again, thank you for your support.

I had been following your story all along even I didn't make any opinion. But I am very glad you finally get what you should get at first place. :)

Good luckand Best wish to you and your families.

Cipher, Great job!

That is excellent news. I'm sorry you had to go through everything you did, but it's over now.

Congratulations! :)

Congrats Pirate. Buy something nice for your wife and children. I'm sure they deserve it after the last couple of months

PS
Ron/Rich whatever his name is SUCKS

It's always good to see RTG make a partial settlement with a non-disclosure agreement.

Who'd have believed it, after they way things were looking a few weeks ago? I'm very glad justice prevailed - the alternative would have set a very dangerous precedent.

Might consider looking at Casinomeister's "wish list" and finding one or two items that he might enjoy since it was this forum where you were able to bring this problem you were having to light. I sincerely hope you enjoy the money you get and do something with it for the good of your family's future.

congratulations!!

Congratulations, again!!!!! , What are you going to do with your money?
New car ? Vacation on caribbean beaches ?

glad to hear it, Pirate. i hope you get paid in full asap, and that a certain state doesn't decide to go after you for your magnificant winnings!! :)
Cheers!!

Good work to all involved in getting this enormous matter resolved. Pirate I wish you all the luck and good fortune in the world but it appears you already have it. ;) Enjoy the cash!!
Cheers

Congratulations!

Many good wishes to Pirate, his family, CIPHER and all who helped in this enormous undertaking. Best of luck to all of you and congratulations!

Thanks to Cipher and the Meister! You two have put out a lot of effort.

My respect to both of you!

There are so many people that put a great deal of effort into this, and once I start naming names, I know I'll probably end up leaving someone out and, believe me, if that happens here, it's not by design; Such people as
Bryan Bailey, Jet Set, Spearmaster, Jyde, SF eagle, Linda 7, Xianna, Bewitched, Rowware, Dominique. Do you understand that I simply cannot name everyone because everyone, right down to all of the posters that came here to Bryan's site and posted for the very first time, every one of US became personally invested, and that's a great thing to see in this industry. So from me, and I do know Brian and his family, to all of you who helped and became involved . . . THANK YOU.

Well this is good news, but is still sad in that Pirate still obviously isn't getting the full 1.3 million, or the settlement terms would not have to be kept secret. Further, Pirate's original email did not state the settlement involved RTG, so I assume RTG isn't paying anything. I assume Delanos is probably paying around $50k (if they were paying the full amount, there would be no need for an undisclosed "settlement" involding them) and Hampton's probably is paying $250k or so (all they could probably afford without going out of business). I would also assume either Hamptons was sold or at least is being required by RTG to assume new management. But of course, I really have no clue and am just guessing, and of course I understand the need for Pirate to keep quiet about the terms. I hope he got at least $500k, but we'll never know.

And there is one more thing to say: originally, everyone (including myself) chided Pirate for 1) being too vocal on these boards initially, and 2) baiting Lewin by "admitting" to the robot. WELL, being vocal was good because this board was all Pirate had (despite what many people said, a court is not the place to resolve this as courts do not enforce internet gambling debts), AND by Pirate baiting Lewin he got Lewin to state stupid stuff about the mouse movements, which proved to be Hampton's UNDOING and caused RTG to step in. So maybe Pirate was smarter than we thought after all.

And one more word of advice: next time you want to bet $10,000 a hand, try going to Vegas! cheers to you.

Congratulation Pirate .Its great for all of us to know that finally you have reached a settlement which will leave all parties sattisfied.

Nonetheless I want to state the following:
From my view if he got 250K or even 500K is not acceptable at all. That's 50%-75%+ less than the ammount he won fair and square. He won 1.3million he must receive 1.3Million.What if he had lost 1.3Million?
Would they let him pay 12,000 a month until he clears up the balance?Would they let Pirate pay less because of financial difficulties he might have as a result of the substantial loss?
I don't think so and I find it unfair if he got anything less than 1.3Million.
As aceinhole21 stated Pirate obviously isn't getting the full 1.3 million which is sad

Great news, Brian. I'm sorry I initially had doubts about you although I eventually came right! Well done for hanging in there and now it's time to de-stress with your family.

Some special applause to Cipher, who showed everyone that he walks the walk as well as talking the talk.

It is a pity that it took this long for right to prevail, but the player has been paid, another bum casino operator (and a particularly bad one) is out of business for now...and RTG may even have learned something on customer relations from this!

Not a bad result overall.

Isn't this wonderful? Despicable circumstances have brought a community closer together; through puzzlement, confusion and even some disagreements. In the end all is good. Better than ever, even!
I am in awe of Cipher and Bryan - the image that comes to mind is that of two caped cruisaders. :D
Most importantly, Congratulations to Pirate.

One word of advice for pirate...
If you haven't receive the whole settlement, please keep your mouth shut!
If you leak any confidential information before you get the money, they will have a great excuse to void your settlement!
It's very likely they would pay you in monthly/weekly manner. Please be patient and wait until you get all the money. You can boast anyway you like AFTER.
My wife is betting he would speak out once his lawyer release his lash and the whole thing would break loose. I really hope not.
