Sorry about that. This thread just made me recall me addressing some "questionable" terms of some casino in the past and your reply to it and it slightly triggered me. Because honestly what you're saying is that casino can have any rules they want, no matter how absurd they may be, as long as those rules are clearly displayed. And that those terms won't affect a casino having the Accredited status.

Max has said in the past that he will support the player when the T&C are "outrageous."
You'll have to enquire with Max for more details about his position on casino T&Cs. I think it's probably complicated.

My stance is that it's about what's fair, for both casino and player. T&C means very little.

Here's a true story which is related to the topic:
I've witnessed in court someone trying to cash in on "gotcha contracts."
The example I saw was a web page designer trying to sue someone for breach of contract.
Someone had signed a contract and the terms were that you can't at any stage back out of the deal; you will be charged the full amount, regardless.
Someone wanted to back out and the webpage designer took them to court. At this point the designer had done about 1-2 hours work.
The magistrate asked the customer why they wanted to back out; they just changed their mind.
And the magistrate asked the webpage designer why they wanted to be paid the full amount of money and the webpage designer said; because the customer had signed a contract.

The webpage designer wanted about 3k and the magistrate gave him what was fair for 1-2 hours work: ~$50.

I think a lot of people on the forum have the same view as the webpage designer. Not what's fair, but what's in the contract.

I love it when some casinos eat there own words,

Sorry we cannot implement this and that...

Yes, that's an excuse casinos are using to excess. In the real world they are required to back it up with sufficient evidence.
Without the evidence it makes it too easy for them to lie.

As best I understand casino accreditation 'In a Nutshell' or 'Bottom Line I read into it that basically the casino in question can be trusted and if you win you will get paid.
I have attempted to define an accredited casino before and it's hard.
One solid point is that you can always PAB an accredited casino.
If the casino is not accredited, you may or may not be able to PAB.

Just so you know, I've made contact with the rep, but she's out on vacation until December. So if you want a more detailed explanation from that end, you may have to be patient.

All I can say is, if you are dealing with incentives like loyalty points, bonuses, and promotions, you need to understand the terms and conditions. If there is any term that includes "...our discretion..." then you may have an issue that is not always clear cut in your eyes. Obviously, they feel that they have the right to hold back with loyalty points, and they have told you how to start earning them. Is this fair? Well, I'm guessing that they feel it is so.

I'm not sure how far this went up the chain of command since Renee isn't around. But if you can wait until she gets back, we can continue this and perhaps have something constructive come of this via a balanced debate. It is difficult to come to a conclusion without input from the casino. All we have are the responses from support.

Whats the definition of Comp's ? complimentaries.

something given or supplied without charge, as lodging, transportation, or meals, especially as an inducement to prospective customers

Now if I am right than given is the main subject here.

The way I look at it if you had a nice set of points to exchange but decided to save them for a rainy day and made a deposit and end up winning abit to find out that now the points are on hold. Now having to end up puting the winnings and maybe more to unlock the points again,

I say maybe more as this is the argument, Players are not being told where they stand and I think thats the problem. Do players have to deposit 15 times without a bonus? loss 10 deposits in a row and I think thats where the problem lays. Its ok for the rules to state at there discretion but if they do not know what the discretion is than thats the problem.

Patience is a Virtue

I am a patient man - no problem re the wait. I think the main issue here is the complete lack of transparency. So they offer bonuses and points, that's all dandy - then at their discretion they can withhold use of those points - that were offered - for some vague reason that they won't disclose.

I've never experienced that at any Casino group. If i have earned the points - then surely i have the right to use them. If they did not want to offer points or bonuses - they should not have. What is annoying is that you can not get a straight answer however much you try.

complete lack of transparency is exact what it is, the dodgy rules about discretion is what this site looks at But not even knowing the descition as another matter, Albeit we know what it is and that is if your up money, Which I can understand but STATE this,

DO NOT lie and say they do not know the score, Ok you get points given when spending like alot of sites give, But isnt that what it is about? If you lose money straight away you earn no points but someone else will, Its atwo wAy way street, you loss is someone else gain and works both ways.

I think you are probably dealing with the first line of defense concerning support. They probably don't know how to deal with this and it should have been escalated. Have you PMd the forum rep? She is on vacation now, but if she gets your account info, she can either look into it or pass it on.

HI CM

I did not PM her - i figured she would run into it at some stage - i know her well and really like her - shes a lovely lady - when she gets back i guess we will have a chat re this. I just find it a bit unfair and thought to share this experience here , it seems its a well used tactic by CR Casinos. I still think that they should not use this kind of tactic. We will though talk and see how it pans out ;)

Happy Friday to all ;)
