I unsubscribed to your spam txts the other day and I'm still getting them. Woke me up in the middle of the night

You sleep with your cellphone set loud enough to wake you? You on standby or something? Anyways, I Know thats not the point but I suppose if you slept with the phone on your ear, it would wake you up.lol
Yes, I do understand that spam is not cool but again, maybe invoke the powers of the rep here to assist.

I'm 24 I go out a bit and I get txt messages at random times throughout the night. But that shouldnt matter fact is I've unsubscrubed and I'm still getting woken by irrelevent spam. Sounds as though you might have low CS standards and would accept that kind of thing but I certainly won't. Once I've unsubscribed I shouldnt have to do anything else.

I understand you on that, I do. Its not about low CS standards or being 24 and going out. In fact, in that line, you basically say your young enough for sleep not to matter.lol I occasionally get the odd sms from other subscribers so yes, i understand that frustration bit but the odd one does come through and sometimes, people make mistakes but again, thats why i mentioned to check with the rep whether your details have been removed.
Maybe he can shed some light on the matter and possibly explain why you get those wake-you-up spam messages etc. I know a few marketing companies, you pay them and they "use their own DB" i.e buddy, youre most likely on several mailing lists, like myself and may need to join my battle someday against this so you cant always blame a casino. check with the rep, provide him with those details, sender number etc and email sender, he will be able to assist you.
at bwin, had a similar case, gave em l details no more issues

You're still lucky that can try to unsubscribe. I can't since I haven't even signed up yet...so pure spam it is and originally from a source I have no clue and that have been giving them my email address ;)

Happy though that they don't have my phone number

Fact remains once youve unsubscribed you shouldnt have to do anything else. If they are spamming me txts they are obviously spamming others as well. I shouldnt have to contact the rep to get that sorted it should be sorted from the moment you unsubsribe. Txts from other companies are irrelevent as we arent talking about other companies we are talking about Lucky247.

To you kind sir, I say check below "their email" there are some guys out there hunting for affiliate offers, they do absolutely anything even go as far as spamming you 247 until you sign up/deposit with a casino they're punting.
At the bottom is usually another link, one of Lucky247 staff kindly alerted me of. The email from a woman who uses a template from them. i no longer have the email else I would confirm the sender but at the bottom of their template was a link to unsubscribe from her mailing list. i.e she used the casino template as is instead of editing to her details. I dont know what the legality is but ended up a few emails deep in discussion with their support. Long story short, i kept mailing them about an email address they didnt have on their DB and after it was brought to my attention, i unsubscribed from this womans mailing list which took me to another website and havent received an email since.
@mrmark21 - this may too be your case, while its not good for the company to be having these spam problems you will agree, unless you and I speak out about it, some will never know whats going on.

Of course, as per the usual, someone will always try to open multiple accounts and obviously receive mail to them os for those few I have no empathy. Be SPAMMED!!! (by everyone) :D

First I'm not a sir and second I won't follow your advice. I don't get bother with spam since I have a folder it goes to that I don't need to check, but I would never use a link in a spam mail. No way, and it's not an advice I would give to anyone no matter what I had achieved myself.

If I offended you, let me apologise first for that was not my intention. It was simply put, being polite. I beg your pardon milady.
I think you missed the point I was trying to make - some affiliate guys out there are using casino templates as fronts for their marketing campaigns. The links i mentioned were not to persuade you to do anything but to inform you that sometimes, there is a way out of spam emails. Yes, you do have a box that filters this and bla bla bla but in reality, the unfortunate truth is that not everything can be spammed on the first go.

I get the feeling that every "unsubscribe" link I click on takes me off THAT list... but puts me on 5 other SPAMMING a-holes lists!
The amount of spam e-mails I get daily is ludicrous - probably well over 100/day :sob:

My spam filter takes a lot out, but some of the SoBs obviously use dynamic send addresses, so they just keep getting through day after day...

Agreed :) Those are risks which I took and I am probably a victim on that.lol though I cant confirm any definite links (which I will probably never know for sure) Spam is a biyaatch and yes, 5 others who probably share another 5 and so on and so on til you get offers from casinos who dont operate in english asking you to sign up.lol

This is how the business works, BUT, affiliates are also bound by terms and conditions, just like players. Unless an affiliate can prove that someone on their mailing list has legitimately opted in, they are breaking the terms of most affiliate programs. The BIG problem I have is that whilst players face a near zero tolerance approach to breaches of the terms, it seems affiliates just get warnings, even in the most blatant cases of spamming.

What casinos generally fail to offer is an easy means for players to report spam, and an assurance that each reported incident will be investigated and dealt with as they deal with players who breach bonus terms. Where players face confiscation of winnings, affiliates should face confiscation of that month's commission payment.

Where the messages have come direct from the casino, they usually identify the player by name or account number. These are something players sign up to when they register, so in cases where such messages persist after unsubscribing, it's a case of a failed unsubscribe system, but it should not take more than one more request to CS to ensure that someone manually takes ownership of the problem and follows through with what the automated system failed to do.

Phone spam is particularly irritating because we are REQUIRED to give a contact number when we register, and since we can't opt out by refusing to give a phone number, and given that the phone is more intrusive than email (requiring immediate attention, even if just to check the calling number to see if it's important enough to interrupt dinner or Eastenders, or whatever else one watches), misuse of a number given for verification purposes as an additional marketing tool does not go down well with players.

Whilst we are also required to give a working email address, we don't have to check it half way through dinner. Marketing offers can wait till one chooses to spend a few minutes checking emails. It is spam that has rendered email less effective for marketing purposes, as many legitimate marketing messages tend to get filtered out as spam (such as regular bonus offers that many players WANT to receive).

I agree with everything you just wrote and agree 100% with the above part of your post.

lol, I STILL get bloody spam EVERY day from Winward, Thebes affs and I block their asses daily.

It's why it's a good idea to always have an email account just for casinos and flag the casinos you use as accepted mail, having everything else go to spam.

Hi GrandMaster,

I just PMed you, I don't know who that sender is, but would like to help!

We try to get rid of spammers, but as most of you agree, they're rather tenacious creatures! :eek2:

Thanks,

Sacha

Spam is usually the result of affiliates with lists of casino players who have either opted in to some website, or that have been harvested or bought from some dodgy douchebag. The best course of action is to contact the affiliate manager with a copy of the spam mail. Hopefully the spammer can be identified and shut down.

Moving on. The casino has changed its terms and conditions that caused an uproar earlier, and I believe that this casino is ready to move on to accred status. Naysayers please state your case. Thank you.

Since this thread is intended for feedback I thought I would provide some.

It's hard enough trying to make the bonus playthrough when its way more than most other MGS casinos at 50x instead of the usual 30x. So when I'm lucky enough to win I expect to be paid promptly without any hassles. They are seeking Casinomeister accreditation after all. Well not the case.

All my deposits to date have been by Moneybookers (Skrill) but because I have won a few hundred dollars more than what I have put in their policy is to pay the difference by Swift??? What other casino imposes this stupid condition.

As they have broken my cardinal "payment with no hassles rule" its the last time I will play there. Some casinos obviously just don't want repeat business.

hi lucky loser not sure why they would do that maybe rep can answer you , but i only deposit via neteller & ive withdrawn more than ive put in , ive had no problems with pay out back into my neteller account , i understand the 50x rule this could be changed , but other than that there ok cant moan at all on my side of things)

Tried but certainly not lucky for me

I also joined to give them a try and also lost my three first deposits and associated bonuses in double quick time (total just under £300) during that time I received only one in play bonus which paid zilch! I then lost just under a further £150, but did make a small withdrawal to see how long the process takes.

I tried customer service (on line chat) which wasn't very impressive TBH, pretty slow and the operative seemed to struggle with what I was asking (simple question re bonuses)

Overall, not great, but I understand that losses can be incurred, especially with MG games, but then it swings back in your favour, so I'll stick with them..... for now.......

I sent my docs on 3rd Oct when I requested the small withdrawal, the casino requested the same docs today (7th), so not the quickest :(

Luck hasn't improved much either, 3 bonus rounds received so far, 2 of which paid zilch the other might as well have (paid less than £10)

Not the best of experiences so far, lets hope things improve

I agree bonus rounds are either non existent or poor at this casino..and hundreds of spins to get them too. I wont be back after 4 deposits and and zero cash outs with big bonuses. asked the cs for rtp too, they had no idea..

Hi Wobble33,

Just PMed you, let's sort this out!

Thanks,

Sacha

I think it's only fair that I record my thanks to Sacha for resolving a couple of issues for me.

After a rocky start with Lucky247 Sacha stepped in and resolved a couple of issues regarding document receipts and a delayed payment. Even better, my luck seems to have changed in that whilst I've not won back quite all that I've deposited (yet!) I had a nice win yesterday which is pending processing. In addition due to my gameplay I've now reached Silver Membership status that whilst I've not read all the details yet, seems to deliver some good benefits.

So Sacha and Lucky247 gets a  from me at the present time.

Withdrawal

I´m still struggling with the withdrawal times here. I made a withdrawal on the 9th of October. When I look at the statement it says 11th of October and when I today, the 16th, check the statement the status is still "Work in progress".

I assume that the time between the 9-11th is some kind of reversal time but even if that´s the case it´s still been too long. The reason can´t be lack of docs because I´ve sent them several times and had a few withdrawals before

hi have you sent the rep a message ? ( sachalucky ) if not do it im sure they can help with whats going on , good luck

From what i gather from reading this thread, i think the withdrawal times at the casino could be shortened, and possibly add a method to flush the withdrawal, so there is no 48hour pending period if the customer wishes to do so. Just suggestions.
