Ladies and Gents,

Some of you may be aware that we haven't had Live Dealer games at 32Red Plc for some time, but I'm pleased to announce that we have released Live Dealer Blackjack, Roulette and Bacarrat at Link Removed (Old/Invalid) this week.

We haven't been live for long, but the interest in the product seems encouraging - my initial thought that this particular way of enjoying your favourite casino game was for a niche market seems to be wrong. Along with the expected BJ & Roulette players, we've seen slots players also giving it a try - which made me think. Who plays this type of game?

I've put together a quick poll, it would be interesting to see which forum members have tried Live Dealer casinos, do you play regularly? Did you try it and it wasn't for you? Personally I like quick-fire gaming and sometimes the live environment can be a little slow - but perhaps that's just me?

Please take a moment to answer the poll and add any comments to this thread. 3 random forum members who answer the poll will be awarded with £/$/€25 in Golden Lounge casino chips. Draw will be made on Wednesday 6th June.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

EDIT: Apologies for the typo on the poll!

So sorry for being the first to vote and have no intention on trying it:oops:
I just felt that if it is a poll and I'm reading it, it would be rude not to vote.

I hope you get some more positive voters next Mark:)

Don't have an account at Golden Lounge. I really enjoy playing with a bonus, and I've not been invited.

Rarely play BJ or Roulette, and past issues with live dealer games (not just MG, but elsewhere) leave me leary.

If anyone can do it right, I have confidence it's 32Red Group.

I am mostly a slots player, but would be willing to give it a go. The only game I would probably play is blackjack, not much of a roulette fan and would not know the first thing about Baccarat.

Sorry, I'm sure there's a need and/or desire for it, but personally, I just play the sots online and stay away from the cards and tables. I suppose if I were more regularly flush with funds and were to play cards, I'd enjoy the live aspect more.

Yes, I tried it (at Ladbrokes) but didn't enjoy it much because it's too slow.
Mind you, the girl dealers were nice!
Also, these days I play slots almost exclusively and hardly go near a Blackjack or Roulette table.

I tried live-dealer games a long time ago, but for me online gaming and live-play are two absolutely different animals. Both having their time and place, but with a very different "goal" i want to reach with each of the two types of gambling.

If playing online, i most of the time want to get my mind cleared from some stress or simply kill some time. And for this "goal" (for me) the best gambling related option is sitting down in front of my computer, open a beer and click the spin-button over and over again. Watch the reels spin, sometimes even giving out nice wins, and really zone out. The perfect mindless activity and also a good option to kill some time when there is nothing else to do. No need to get dressed up, no need to interact with other people, no need to drive somewhere to gamble...

If playing live, i want to have a fun night out with buddys. Planning ahead for a nice evening, putting on some decent clothes and hit a b&m-casino. Having (sometimes loud) fun with my friends at the blackjack or roulette tables, get some drinks in, share the highs of winning with each other or mostly the lows of losing.... ;) Do something you don´t do very often and enjoy it as a special event. Very similar as going out for a nice dinner and partying afterwards...

Ups, that got a "bit" tldr... To sum it up: No live-dealer games online for me, and no slot-button mashing at the b&m-casino... But i which 32red the best of luck with this new addition.

I play live roulette almost daily at other casinos.

Why?

Well I am not always 100% sure about the randomness when placing high bets on roulette if it's not live. When it's live I can be 99,999999% sure it is 100% random.

If I bet $500+ I almost always do it on live roulette.

Glad to see it at one of my fav casinos now. Hope to be one of the winners here so I can try it for free :)

And hope to see it at 32red, dash and nedplay soon aswell!!!

If I win I will place $25 on number 32 and then cashout my $900 win ;P

i play a fair ammount of liuve roulette as i did when they had back in the day at 32red & dash bring it back !

Hi MrJones,

I understand that it will be rolled out to our other brands in due course, but don't let that stop you trying at GL ;)

Thanks for all the votes so far.

Cheers
Mark

While I have total confidence in 32Red PLC, I have zero interest in trying live dealer games. The only way I ever play Blackjack or cards, is in person, and face to face. There have just been too many "technical" issues with the live dealer games in the past...and I just don't care for online BJ at all. I don't know how to explain it, other than to say it just doesn't "feel" right. But best of luck to you guys, and hope you don't get burned again as in the past, with some of the malfunctions, that can't seem to be proven one way or another.

I'll stick to my slots...a much bigger rush, and a much better chance to win something big for a relatively small amount.

The poll results so far have definitely opened my eyes, just 5 out of 30 voters play regularly. I thought it would be much higher.

I think the reason is that the overwhelming majority of the posters on this forum are players who mostly play slots - judging by the topics and contents of the threads here. IMO the results of the poll might be very much different on a forum with membership focusing on table games.

playtech seems to offer live games on most of there casinos & they get alot of players , im thinking go wild is the mg i used to use for live roulette i also play at gala casino to which also has live games , as im not a fan of RNG numbers ( roulette ) if i want to play roulette it would be a far better safer bet to play live games at least i can see whats happening.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for voting, the three winners of 25 Chips to play at Golden Lounge are...

- Rick Decard
- Tirilej
- secret2

Could you please PM me your account number and I'll get the prizes credited.

@Tirilej - I can see you voted that you wouldn't try Live Dealer, no problem there as the chips can be used on whatever game you like. :)

Regards,
Mark

EDIT: I've just been advised that secret2 is based in the US and cannot play the free chip, secret2 - can I ask that you nominate another forum member for the prize? :)

I have tried Live Dealer games on the Playtech Network (Paddy / Betfred) - I almost NEVER play Roulette in game form (Its a SLOT) and if I ever feel like playing - Live Dealer is the way for me. IF I was allowed to play MG - I would have played it at Golden Lounge.

I like seeing the ball spin and dropping and have assurance that its fair. Not saying the Slot - Roulette aint fair but they conform to a RTP.

Frustrating issues for people will be not receiving their payouts from the spin in time or bets not being accepted when you have placed them (Just your luck the number you were playing lands).

I have had a few disputes and these take time when you need to email the game ID across and let them review. Its detrimental to the player as he/she could have continued playing, instead they are now frustrated with support.

I have had nice wins on Live roulette - Made about 8000 Euros in one night - in 3 spins..

For me, I play it, but rarely and I would prefer it on a table in a B&M...

Nate

Congrats to the winners! I have placed two bets on the live casino.

50 on red, result red 100
250 on middle sector, result middle sector 750

So I'm happy :) Hope to see it on 32red soon and also higher limits.

Got my 25 free chips, thanks Mark @ Goldenlounge. Well this is how it went, I choose a table with the 0.50 min straight bet and 2:1 bets and put a 0.50 chip on the 1st Dozen but I couldn't confirm the bet.

Tried again on the next round this time betting on a number but still I couldn't confirm the bet. Kept looking at the min bet which was 0.50 for these bet positions and then realised the min (total of bets) was set at £4. So I closed that table and had a look at the other tables to see if any where lower.

Found a min £2 (total bet table) though the min bet was £2 also, though it did allow you to split the bet on two numbers and that's what I did, I split the £2 on the 6 and 9 played 12 rounds. Wasn't expecting to win anything with the money I had to play with and got close with the ball hitting the neighbours twice but after the 12 rounds it was all gone.

Overall the live microgaming setting is relaxing though a bit dark, live video feed is good but would prefer a min bet of 0.10 or 0.50 on total min bet for straight numbers.

With the balance I had, it would of been wiser to bet the dozens or columns but with the low return on those bets I couldn't be bothered as I always prefer to play the straights 35:1's. Although the session was brief I enjoyed playing there. Recommend it if you have a larger starting balance of 100+.

The poll results so far have definitely opened my eyes, just 5 out of 30 voters play regularly. I thought it would be much higher.

I think it's a different crowd. Hardly overlaps with the standard casino players. Kinda similar to mobile casinos.. maybe even worse.

And I'd love to see the 32Red group do this.. from an affiliate point of view. As a player I'd rather play it in a real brick & mortar casino, cause I'm too much at home as it is :D

Change the available live games to strip poker and i`ll play every single day, those dealer girlies are hot ;).

If you'd see the actual dealers instead of the ones shown in the pictures on all the live dealer casinos websites, I think you would reconsider wanting to see them naked.
Another thing 32Red could improve on..
