    from littlewoods promotion page:

New players: 50 sign up bonus
We're sure you're have a great casino experience with Littlewoods Casino but to make your first visit that extra special, we'll give you 50* FREE! If your first deposit of the month is a single transaction of 50 or more, we'll match it. Please note: Players must wager an aggregate total of 25 times the bonus in the casino before they can withdraw the free money, e.g. Deposit = 50, Bonus = 50, you must then wager an aggregate total of 1250 in the casino before you can cash out the bonus money and its winnings. Your free cash will be credited to one account only.

Existing Players: 25 Monthly Reward - Every month!
We really appreciate your loyalty, so if you are an existing player as soon as you've wagered a total of 625 in the month , we'll give you a further 25* absolutely free.

You can earn up to 300 FREE a year!

Please note - in your first month of joining the casino you need to wager a further 625 once you are able to withdraw your 25 sign up bonus (a total of 1250 to get a total of 50 free). The bonus is then added to your account within 24 hours.

so, although the monthly offer says the signup is only 25 quid, it is on the same page as the above paragraph stating the signup is for 50 quid. also, the monthly is credited after meeting the 625 wr for the month. but the signup for 50 is credited up front.

so i wagered 1271 to clear the signup and ran up to 210 gbp on my deposit of 50 gbp. then i wagered another 700+ as the monthly is not tracked by the promotions tab in the cashier (running down to 150 gbp in the process). once i was certain i'd cleared the monthly, i kept logging in and out to see when the bonus would be added. then i double-checked the website and found it wouldn't show up for 24 hours at most. the next evening i emailed littlewoods asking if it was going to be credited and they told me i couldn't get a monthly in my first month.

clearly, notwithstanding that the monthly bonus paragraph refers to a 25 quid signup bonus, it states a player can earn the monthly in their first month of joining the casino. so i responded and offered three options for how to proceed:

    1) simply credit the bonus to me as i only made those final wagers with intention of receiving it and lost more to them than the bonus is worth anyway;
    2) void all wagers after the session where i cleared the signup bonus and restore my 210 gbp balance;
    3) offer to give me 50 gbp after clearing the 625 wr for next month's bonus.

ought they to allow one of the above options or am i screwed under the "reservation to change at any time without notice" clause? my play logs i think make it clear i was wagering to meet the bonus and not just for the fun of it. any thoughts, bryan or others? anyone else had them pull this on you? granted i had every opportunity to ask before wagering toward the monthly, but their website as well as CBW's website told me i could get the monthly in my first month. also, have i tipped my hand to them that i am in this game only for the bonuses? please help!

    Screwed mate.

They had a christmas offer for 100 on 1000 deposit. WR on the bonus alone of 25x and a redemption code. Well, the code did not work, and it was only open for a day so support told me to deposit, let them know, and they would manually credit the bonus. I waited, and waited, and then phoned again the next week. Now they said that only "Simon" would credit the bonus, and that this was a known error with the code and it would take another few days. More waiting and another phone call, this time, they said they had no authority and would forward the issue to management. During the next couple of weeks I phoned and had the issue "forwarded to management" a further two times. I informed them I would be withdrawing the 1000 and playing it at Intercasino and others for Christmas promotions that actually work (by now it was christmas eve, the last day of the Littlewoods event anyway).
After the new year, I found nothing had been done, and contacted support again and I asked them to escalate the matter as a complaint to management, they did, and sent me a confirmation that they had received my summary of the issue.

Well, it is now almost August, and I am still waiting for a reply from the "management" of a supposedly reputable and well run casino.

    What Crap!

I have now given it up as a lost cause, and will only play if the automatic bonusing works. They have now issued another case for the summer, a 100% match on 250.

Expecting the worst, I inserted the code, and it was accepted, great!
I deposited, and got the bonus.

Now, this mailer also states that the monthly 25 is ALSO avaliable despite having taken this July bonus, well, that remains to be seen given the above broken promise.

I am not sure who qualifies for this mailer, but it allows Blackjack, hell, it's advertised as a Blackjack Bonus, but the small print says you are allowed to play other games apart from Blackjack. It's usually the other way round on this type of bonus.

I'm afraid the best that can be hoped for is a manual credit of the 25, but don't hold your breath that CS will be able to arrange this. It seems that "management" do not deal directly with customers, you have to go through CS. There is, however, another CS E-mail address on the site for complaints, rather than support. It may be worth trying this as you have actually lost money wagering for this, and don't have the option I had of taking my deposit elsewhere without placing a single wager (which I did as a form of protest about the ineptitude of CS - I didn't even play the Christmas events that probably worked). I won 50 in the Littlewoods tournament on new year's eve from a few scraps I left behind:D

thanks ballysdb! i use the name when i whore at places that allow more than nine character usernames; hopefully it keeps them from labeling me an abuser. i was so happy when i saw i could have batman as my avatar! i was watching it the other day, and bruce wayne wears a utility belt under his clothing in case of emergency. but i ask what if he was kidnapped or detained and strip-searched? everyone would find out he's batman. is that a batzooka in your pants or just happy to see me?

back to the issue at hand. i think i better withdraw so they don't just seize all my funds. but i don't want to make it look like i gave up. i can always redeposit later, if they sweet talk me into it and give a juicy offer...

does littlewoods have a rep on this board?

cheers guys! i like this forum, it's kept me from risking some money at iffy joints. keep up the good fight bryan et al.!

    Hi happygobrokey,

Glad you are having a good time in the forum - but just a couple of comments/observations.

You're new here, but already you've posted a number of times in the complaints section - all dealing with bonuses.

You're also in Canada, but you play in GBP.

Just a heads up that even though this site deals with problems stemming from bonus activities, it does not condone or encourage bonus "whoring". You could be pegged as a "problem" player. A further heads up that many operators/casino managers read these threads, and sometimes they can easily figure out who you are.

I just wanted you to be aware of this. Thanks.

Last time I checked you could only play in GBP at Littlewoods. No other currencies available.

"Encourage", fine, but "condone" - that almost implies there's something wrong with playing casino offers with the aim of winning - I'm sure that's not what you intended :p ;)

    Whoring

I am sure that playing promotions with the aim of winning is different from whoring.
Whoring is where there never is any intention of returning as a depositor after leaving with the sign-up bonus, however well the casino treats you. Playing to win is selecting casinos that appear to offer the best programme of regular promotions for regular players. These are often casinos that do not have particularly attractive sign-up bonuses.

I prefer to play where regular promotions are run for existing players. If I see a casino that has, or seems to have, good ongoing existing player promotions I will often deposit and take the sign-up, and immediately deposit again to take part in a good promotion where a second deposit is needed to enable participation. I particularly like promotions where there is a live running scoreboard, or every player wins at least something for playing a minimum amount in the event. I will ignore big bonuses where the group has a reputation for not honouring winners.

Most "whores" will happily return and deposit at a casino if it has good continuing offers. The point is they play when the odds are in their favour (though note it's still gambling).

Obviously casinos don't like those players much, but it takes years of being brainwashed by progressively worse terms and conditions not to find it absurd that casinos describe such play as "abuse". While they do the casino industry can't possibly claim to be legitimate.

If you use an offer to attract deposits you have to accept players will take you up on it and try to win.

hey CM! thanks for the warning. however i think if i offered some street urchin 100 usd or 100 gbp, she would take the pounds. and as was mentioned, littlewoods only allows play in gbp. let me say here that this is a rant, not directed at bryan but just of online casino bs in general.

but anyway, casinos have every opportunity to restrict play in foreign currencies, enforce larger wr's for gbp or euro, and make the bonuses of equal true value under all currencies. i have seen a casino where the playthrough is twelve times b+d, but if you are not from uk and play in gbp, the wr balloons up to 35 times.

in today's global economy, it is quite commonplace for businesses to set up shop (cough*casinos*cough) in places with laws that are favourable to them. it is in the nature of capitalism to exploit every advantage and do/pay the least possible work/expense in order to achieve the highest possible return/revenue (cough*sweatshops*cough).

under what other situation would someone who is required to do A, B & C to get incentive D be afraid that she had better do more than just A, B & C before asking for incentive D? "cut my lawn and wash my windows to earn fifty bucks"..."hell no, you only cut my lawn and washed my windows to get my fifty bucks, you're clearly taking advantage of my generosity, now give me a foot rub and i'll reconsider taking legal action".

i gave them the benefit of 700+ gbp in action fulfilling my end of the contract. i merely ask they reciprocate or else set me back to my state before i gave the consideration.

as for "whoring" sign-ups from casinos with no intention of patronizing the place in the future, vegas casinos give free/ridiculously cheap buffets with no guarantee that you'll give action or ever come back. there is no wr for claiming the discount buffet, and no flak for abusing the food or just leaving after you eat. anything to get you in the door. what you do after that is your own discretion.

not to mention the personal info the casino gets from every customer, the adware they leave on your computer, the interest from having your money in their virtual pockets for x amount of time etc. and many places do email with offers and promotions, and just because i choose to shop around and see what casinos have good cs, fast cashouts, appealing software etc, that does not entail abuse. again using live casinos, i wouldn't be blacklisted for visiting many casinos rather than pledging allegiance to one or a select few. i have every right to take comps/attention from every casino that offers such, and i should not be penalized for where i choose to spend my own money.

and all bonuses have risk involved. you almost always have to deposit and play with your own money before you are allowed to withdraw any bonus funds. some cryptologic and others allow you to play down the bonus and take your money back, but they have the option of changing that. and if you lose the bonus anyway, then no abuse occurs. and if you jump through the appropriate hoops as set out by the t&c, there is no abuse in cashing out your bonus entitlement. and if you go around cyberspace doing this at all the attractive casinos, the only abuse is on your mouse. if casinos want to collaborate to single out "advantage" or "professional" players, the only ones hurt are the casinos who don't get those extra sign-ups. but if i can sign up, deposit and play according to the rules, i should be entitled to withdraw my winnings. if you're going to flag me, bar me at the door, not after i give you my trust and my time. it's like getting cheated on. it hurts less when they tell you as soon as it happens than after you wake up with herpes....

sorry for the ultra-long post, but i just don't get how the casinos can arbitrarily blackball and seize funds after they've advertised an offer and had a party accept the offer and undertake the obligations therein. it just ain't fair.

of course i might be in error on many points. bryan et al. you guys have been in the game much longer and likely many have worked in legitimate casinos before, so please bitchslap me into line if i have said anything wrong or stirred the pot too vigourously.

oh i just thought of a great illustration. if a store has free samples of a number of products, is it abuse to try out each one and then not buy any of them? of course using disguises to claim multiple free samples at one booth is abuse, but if i'm only taking one from each, i would think it folly for the booth halfway down the line to say "i see a pattern here; you aren't even going to consider buying what you sample so forget it." and if they did, they are only keeping me from ever considering buying that product, and it has no bearing on whether i return to purchase anyone else's product or go on to take free samples from the other booths down the line.

and for the record, i do inter's monthly! i was considering going back to do littlewoods in the future too, but it looks unlikely considering their treatment of my case. still have yet to hear back from them in fact. i hope i got everything off my chest so i don't feel this need to lash out at the quasi-legal tactics of casinos for a long time. so casinos, if you wanna ban me, then go right ahead, but ban me outright; don't let me deposit and lose money to you before you turn into dicks. you owe me that at least; we're all real people behind these keyboards. i wouldn't bang your wives, and i wouldn't urinate in your ear and blame it on the rain.

oh oh one more thing about playing in gbp, i am a member of the commonwealth, and i would prefer to play in gbp everywhere i was allowed. my money has the queen on it, and americans make fun of how our money is so colourful, but so are euros and i'm sure a majority of other nations' bills. "if you don't believe what we tell you to believe, we'll kill you" take a crack at who said that? and just like britain holds out from joining the euro, america holds out to be the widest-accepted currency worldwide. why don't these casinos from antigua, malta, costa rica ad nauseam require play in their native currencies? maybe my winnings should be void if i bet in usd since online gambling is outlawed in america? using their money to break the law, tsk tsk!! but i guess it's ok since it's in the spirit of capitalism...

  21. Happygo,

I don't particularly disagree with your comments, but this is not the place for gratuitous bonus whoring discussion. Advantage play is best discussed out of earshot of the casinos, otherwise it may negatively affect future opportunities.

I'm sure I've made a few posts that lacked diplomacy, so this is a reminder to myself as well. :)

I signed up for littlewoods this month and I definately wagered enough to get the monthly bonus as well. I was surprised not to have it credited to my account and after contacting support, they said they'll "look into it"

I don't know why, but it seems like their offer on their signup page doesn't auto-credit to your account like they promise

They can't pull that because they EMAILED ME back and said I can get the monthly bonus if I wager some more.... they flat out said if I wager more they'll give me a bonus, so I said sure.

Now they're backing out it seems.

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum.. I hope it doesn't sound too whiney!!

I had the same problem as the OP, completed the initial sign-up at littlewoods to claim 50 then tried to complete the monthly sign-up during the same calendar month.

Completed over 2000 in wagers & sent off 3 or 4 emails to littlewoods with no reply. Slightly annoyed at no response I decided to cash out the remaining 135 on the 21st July (I was on 200 after clearing the initial monthly.. doh!!)

I couldn't find any amounts equalling 135 on my bank statement so I requested a phone back today & got a call 10 minutes later, this part of the service was excellent!

As I could not view my statement online (For some unknown reason I could only view the current month) I had a few queries as to where my money was. Unfortunately it's against company policy to be able to be emailed an account statement, It's also against company policy to be posted any kind of statement.... So grab a pencil sir and I shall read it to you!

The operator assures me 50 has been cashed out to my card, not 135 as I had requested. When I asked them what name this would show as on my bank statement they were unable to tell me because they had never even seen a customers bank statement. I was told It's against company policy for them to make any sort of littlewoods account & I'm assuming this isn't included in training.

I wasnt given any reason why only 50 of the 135 that I had requested was cashed out. I still have 85 in my account which I hopefully will be able to withdrawn later tonight or tomorrow.

No real point or story to this post, just my 2 pence worth ;)

    More BS

Total crap this. Customers have a right to their transaction information in the event of a dispute. Littlewoods casino are licenced in Gibraltar.
While it may very well be against policy to send it by E-mail, as this is not secure, there is no excuse for not posting it, especially as the software does not allow it to be viewed. Do they have something to hide?

I wonder if Littlewoods know what jerking around is being done in their name, as these casinos are run at arms length by a contractor, same goes for many of the other Cryptos that "use" the respected names of UK Bookmaking firms. Nevertheless, when it comes to complaining to the forthcoming UK Gaming Commission, it won't wash, Littlewoods casino & sportsbook will be held to account, even if it was a third party who runs the casino side. Businesses are responsible for the actions of employees in law, whether employed as individuals of subcontractors.

Oddly, they seem to have now sent me ANOTHER 250 bonus for August! Surely this cant be going to be regular as not only does Blackjack count, but even the restricted games of Craps, Bacarrat and Roulette also. The monthly 25 will also be allowed on top (and it was this month).
It is possible I have become "VIP", and they are going to donate 250 + 25 every month, the mailer seems to imply I am one of a "select few", but I am actually ahead overall. Perhaps they are hoping I will "go mad" and lose 250 per month instead of 50 every couple of months. I certainly had a dreadful run with the first bonus, but because of it's size am still breaking even!
No point in finding out the code if not invited, Crypto codes are attached to specific accounts (unless they have screwed this up too and made it general by mistake).

    Allocation of cash-in

The software will only allow cashins to certain cards up to the value of the deposit. The E-cash software will amend the request to comply, and leave the rest behind. A separate request is needed to retrieve it. The message where the amendment is made is easily missed.
Refunds to DEBIT cards no longer have such limits, and now the whole lot can go back to a bank this way (they made this change at all Cryptos, so it must be a general thing like the abolition of the PIN). Previously, winnings had to come by webwallet (Neteller) or cheque.

Even when a cash-in has gone back to a card, it can be split into it's component deposits and winnings, and may skip a few days between, sometimes they will straddle the card or bank monthly statements and will appear to have not been paid. Cash-ins are at least quicker than most other casinos.

This is very true. Add when you have got 3 or 4 seperate withdrawals that get split up into 8+ different amounts it quickly becomes a nightmare to track!!

The Ecash cashier has a RNG in it when it comes to withdrawals I think.

You seem to have become VIP Vinyl and you should continue to get the offers if your play is high enough to justify them.

I have been getting these offers for ages. They had been been running @ 500 deposit offers. Hope these 250 offers are not the start of a new trend!

Played the offer last night, ended up 1650 including the 250 bonus and the monthly 25 which just appeared in my account as I was playing.

Safe casino and therefore always willing to play anything they offer me.

You are right about the CS though it is not a patch on 32red and Inter.
