What is the best place to report spam to? Apart from the casino itself.

Just received this from a company I have never heard of trying to promote Karamba Casino.

Congratulations!
You're Today's Winner!
etc.

From this email:

Karamba Exclusive <denbqRtGEDjf@opposites.suchbreath.com>

Pretty sure that totally contravenes recent guidelines on promoting offers ('congrats your a winner') - not to mention all spam laws - i.e. sent using Karamba branding and name in from field. And more I"m sure.

I probably get about 2/3 spam emails from these a day.

Shit casinos, don't give a shit about affiliates spamming, I've contacted them more than once and nothing gets done. Forward them to the ASA and UKGC - all of the emails, eventually they might investigate them.

Hey,
I would be more than happy to assist you if you could contact me by private messages.
I will need you to forward me the original emails you got, i will then contact the 3rd party bothering you and make sure it stops.

1. Its spam, I have not signed up to their spam mailing list. Please provide proof of opt in.
2. It is completely non compliant for ASA or UKGC rules. There are no terms and conditions, no gamaware link, no 18+, no new customer only. It is clearly targeted to the UK by the fact the welcome bonus is in £'s.

I went onto live chat, spoke to someone called sarah who wasn't the brightest tool in the box, but eventually she asked me to forward the email to care@playclub.com

Heres the response I got

Your message to care@playclub.com couldn't be delivered.

care wasn't found at playclub.com.

Hey There
Thanks for your previous message but as far as I can see on the URL you posted, it seems to redirect to PLAYCLUB and not to Karamba, could you please elaborate ?

Thats right but they are under the same license, using the same platform and email addresses are they not (supportcenter@aspireglobal.com)?

If they have nothing to do with you then I apologise :)

Dear Colinsunderland,

Thanks for your message.
The fact 2 casinos are using the same platform doesn t mean they are owned by the same company.
I accept your apologies :) :)

Have a great day

The second one was forwarded to supportcenter@aspireglobal.com on Saturday, no reply. Bit like the one above that I posted (that wasn't you), no reply to that either. Haven't bothered forwarding this one as aspireglobal obviously don't care about your affiliates spamming. Before you say they do, why am I getting spam from the same affiliate, to the same email address 4 days after the first one? And over a week since the one above that was reported to the same email address? The email address was given to me by your support.

Also asked support for proof of my opt in to the mailing list, a bit of additional information for you is that the email address has only ever been used to sign up for 888casino, so I can guarantee 100% no proof of opt in will be available.

The are also using fake 'from' addresses to send the mail.

Dear Colinsuderland

Could you please provide me your email by private message ? I will make sure the third party affiliate remove your mail from his database and that no more email will reach you.
I am here to help you :)

So the rest of us will continue to suffer?

How would it be if you stopped those spammers instead? Close their accounts and prove that you are honest.
You will never get a good reputation otherwise.

In regards to honesty, I invite you to prove yours, by contacting me in private instead of just making noise on the forum.

PS: The fact I am answering to as much as possible players feedbacks I can in any forum as askgamblers, thepogg, casinomeister................. Is already a proof that at Karamba we care for our players ! I guarantee you that EVERY forum can testify of my devotion to customer care.

Regards,

No, I don't get any spam from Karamba for the moment, but I have earlier and I have no doubt that I will see it again.

I'm sorry, but I simply can't respect any company that allows their affiliates to spam. If I'm just a member doing noise in the forum then so be it. I have at least told you my opinion.

I'm happy though that you are answering in forums if players need you. Well done:thumbsup:

Regards,

I will PM you my email address, however, as others have said, removing me from the list doesn't change the fact this affiliate is spamming. That is a breach of your affiliate terms and conditions, and is risking you getting a large fine and your UKGC license.

A little further information for you, this particular affiliate is a serial spammer. He has been unable to provide any proof of me opting into his spam mailing list to any other casino, including casumo and leo vegas here on the forum. If you read through the threads relating to them you will see both have closed this affiliates account for spamming. On top of that I have had their affiliate account closed at another 4 casinos for the exact same thing.

Why do you not actually take serious action against a serial spamming affiliate? The only way they will stop is if you close their account. You might get my email address removed (but they won't, they will just stop sending spam for you, I will continue to get it from other casinos they promote), but what about the other thousands of people they spam daily? Is it ok to spam them because they haven't complained?

Thank for reading and replying :)

You claimed you didn t opt in, and you claim it is a spam, i trust your word and make sure to contact the third party to stop it but please keep in mind that this is maybe not the case for every mail of that recipient list.

You simply don't listen :)

Those affiliates of yours are spammers who we see as criminals. They are doing anything and everything to make money, no scruples.
If you think they are doing a good job for you then we won't like you either, because you allow them to continue.

Don't you have any rules the affiliates have to follow?

I claim those things as they are true.

Your affiliate is sending me emails advertising your casino, we can agree on that.

If he is sending spam out then he is in breach of his agreement with you and also breaking the law, we can agree on that.

You are responsible for the actions of your affiliates. That has been proven recently with large fines handed out by the UKGC.

Please ask your affiliate for the proof of opt in to his mailing list he has to have, by law, to send me emails. Then send it to me. Ensure it is a legitimate opt in, which details my IP address and where & when exactly I signed up.

When he cannot supply it, that is proof the emails are spam, and is enough for you to terminate his affiliate agreement.

If you do not, then it shows you are happy for your affiliates to send spam and break the law in your name.

Thanks guys for all the feedbacks and insights, was a real pleasure to have that conversation with you. I have written a few points that I may take into consideration and implement quite easily. It s for sure that any publisher not respecting rules will be banned. Our guidelines are strict.

Regards,
