It's going to be a woman come what may, democrat or republicans in power, and there can only be so many suitable candidates. If the republicans can appoint a female conservative judge now, what sense is there in them waiting and risking allowing the democrats to appoint a liberal female judge in 2021?

Considering the riots, protests and law & order issues as well, the chance to pick a new judge can't have come at a better time.

The fact is that there has been 10 occasions in the past where a new member has been elected to the supreme court in the last year of a presidency,including in Obama's last year,so there can not be any complaining from the bias and blinkered.

I think obama's last day in office was 20th jan, busy doing his pardons, and we're in late sept now so Trump has 4 months minimum left as president. That should be enough time to appoint a new judge, check their record and credentials etc.. I'm sure they've already done much of the groundwork as they knew ginsburg was seriously ill.

The dems should shut up and sit down. It is the job of the senate to confirm judges the presidents picks. It is no ones fault this has happened during two election years. Just plain luck. They didn’t like garland. oh well. They didn’t want him for obvious reasons Cuz he was the pick of a democrat under a republican senate...what were the chances they were going to like his choice. Zero.

the dems will have to figure it out...they will maybe look to expand the Supreme Court to safeguard roe vs wade and other issues...if biden wins and if they win the senate that is...

I have never seen anyone online in any forum be banned on such flimsy grounds. He was posting in line with others regarding talk of the next person voted in being a female. The use of the word Vag in the terms he used it in was simply a crude way of stating the same thing.Crude but in context.
And recently you indicated that posts that are mildly offensive or inflammatory are given a pass by you if they are not in the casino related boards. He did not post his comment in any of the forum sections that you have just referred too.
Do you propose to pursue a policy on these fora that bans any form of reference to sex and sexuality?

There's a comment on the previous page displaying some indoctrinated drivel, that reads "only a privileged white man would be able to say this". Some people seem to have even agreed with that ludicrous statement.
So yeah, in regards to your last sentance, I'd say that's pretty obvious lol

Thanks for the laugh. As has been said many a time there are a few on here that I think just come on to watch the forum and report anything they don't like and agree with.

Really unbelievable that people get so offended by comments that are not even directed to them . If anyone is genuinely so upset at many different comments then i really do not think online forums are the place they should be spending their time.

Exactly. Most of the posts are in attic so nothing to do with casino related stuff. And let's face it a lot of crap has been posted by many members in it.

I do lurk most days because i can not add anything helpful to most threads. Most of the games i can not play from here. I have never used the report button in my time here or any other forum for that matter. That being said, I did not see anything other then the normal . I am not familiar with UK slang but I feel terrible for Playford. To me he has been making an effort not to be banned.
