just an FYI - Giggles' email has been hacked

Giggles (Pat) was a friend and member here who passed away some time ago. Imagine opening my personal email just now to find an email from her. pfffffftttt... Not a nice thing to see at the end of a particularly crappy day.

I'm sure it's one of those garbage spammers who hijack email accounts and send everyone in the contact list links which would probably give me a nice little virus if I clicked on it.

So... anyway... never click links in emails.... especially from dead friends.....

Some poor person who is not as computer savvy as you could have even more insult to injury

Just happened to one of my business email addys - some bastard Greek spammer whom we're trying to hunt down through the email headers.

I dislike spammers at the best of times - this has infuriated me.

I too had this happen to one of my smatermail email accounts, kept getting bounce back spam emails that I didn't send.

Most unsecured email accounts require simply the email address and password to access so make the password as complex as possible.
