Hi folks,

Not a regular poster but I just thought I'd put this out there for those using or considering using Joyland/William Hill.

Basically I had a good winning night where I tripled my bankroll at their live dealer roulette table in a rather short series of bets. It was just one short playing session but it looked really lucky.

Well guess what happened when I came back a few days after that night? I couldn't access their lives games anymore!

I contacted them and got an email from the casino supervisor and here is what he said:

"We write further to your recent contact with our Customer Support team regarding the fact you are unable to play in any of the Live Games in our Casino.

Joyland Casino reserves the right, through our terms and conditions, to accept or refuse the whole or part of any bet placed with ourselves. At times we may chose to restrict the game(s) which a customer may play, but this is within our right to do so. This practice is common throughout the gaming world and whilst we understand you may not be satisfied with this, it is our prerogative to do so.

Regards,

Gabriel Anderson
Casino Supervisor"

Can you believe these guys?

I contacted them again, saying that I too would like to exercise my right of requesting that my account be closed immediately (I had already withdrawn my money). But he ignored my request and I had to talk to chat support to have my account closed.

Now what's strange is that I DIDN'T EVEN WIN THAT MUCH! My bankroll before I tripled it was well below $100. Are they really this desperate?

Oh and guess what, I was certainly allowed, in fact encouraged (by chat support), to play the RNG games while this "ban" was in effect. LoL! That sure tells you something.

Now I know casinos are no charities and they all "reserve the right" to simply throw you out the door as soon as you start making serious money consistently. But that's the point, this was neither serious money nor consistent, just a really lucky night where I tripled my bankroll rather easily. I've never been treated this way by a casino. Joyland/William Hill, is such a joke.

PS. I found a guy who had the exact same experience with William Hill a couple months ago (he posted about it here [link removed]): Banned from William Hill's live roulette tables for winning, but still allowed to play the RNG.

You be the judge.

Cheers

There are plenty of stupid people thinking they can beat roulette with systems and some of them work for casinos. Not exactly surprising.

Excuse me?

Where did I say I use or believe in any "systems"? In fact I said twice that I merely got lucky.

I have been basically kicked out from the only games I trust (live dealer) for no real reason other than having a lucky night. I am warning people about this casino because of the way it might treat them if they ever get lucky and make some money. In other words, I am asking people to avoid this casino. How can I be working for them?

As for the "stupid" remark, I'll ask you to watch your tone next time and not troll in my thread or I'll report you. My impression is that this is a moderated community.

I think zap is going off the fact that the link you put in your original post was referring to someone using a modified Law Of The Third 'system' - (I am putting system in inverted commas because of course for roulette there is no such thing) - and perhaps assumed you were doing the same.

Okay I removed the link.

It was still a trollish post on his part.

but they did pay you.. weird. anyhow, they have that right.. so this doesn't make them rogue or roguish.

Sorry I'm new. I changed the prefix from "Roguish" to "Casino Complaint".

What I actually meant was that the casino people that locked you out believe in systems and use that as a reason. Seeing how you reacted and the page you linked to does make me wonder though.

Thanks

I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding then (good thing I didn't report you lol).

Well that would kinda make sense, but wow, who woulda thought a group like William Hill would employ idiots like that.

Who would think Will Hill would break the habit of a lifetime and employ someone who believes in common sense, logic, and mathematics:rolleyes:

If there were doubts about your account, such as your ID, location, source of funds, etc, you would have been kicked out of the whole damn group. They clearly have no issues with your ID and ownership of funds deposited, they clearly have little confidence in the integrity of their live games, and believe you have a system that will take them to the cleaners. Although you didn't win much, they clearly believe that you have a system that will eventually win you a fortune, so have nipped it in the bud. They still want your money, so are trying to encourage you to play the other games, rather than throw you out altogether.

Many have cast doubts on the integrity of the live games, which I believe come from a studio in the Philipines for Playtech, yet when players claim that they have been screwed, they are told that the live games and systems are beyond reproach, and the result cannot be wrong, nor "rigged" in any way.

One allegation was that it was not live at all, but that after the bets were placed, a video was played that gave a result that caused the minimum payout based on where the bets had been placed on the table. If true, this COULD be beaten by a system that just bet where the least bets had been placed. This allegation was dismissed as the rantings of the "tin foil hat brigade", but it seems one of their members has infiltrated Will Hill, and believes you are betting to outsmart the system and so win consistently over the long term.

A while back, a player disputed a result from a live game at 32Red. After investigating, 32Red paid compensation as a good will gesture, but also pulled the live games because they could no longer be certain of their integrity, and didn't want a further similar incident.

There must be quite a few players trying various systems on the live roulette games, but it seems Will Hill are fearful of the possibilty that someone will come up with a system that works.

Other casinos have also taken fright when players use what appear to be systems, and have shown this in some of the bizarre excuses they have given.

I have seen one player have their winnings confiscated because they claimed a player "confused the RNG" into giving them too many wins by playing to a pattern. I believe the casino ended up in the rogue pit and without a software supplier the following month, because the software supplier was enraged that such doubt had been publicly cast on the integrity of it's software.

Or may'be it is to do with something else entirely like bad karma in the live chat, who know's, unless casinos start giving out unambiguous reasons why someone is locked out, we'll never know the real reason why.

Interesting (and a bit shocking) info, thanks.

Do you know any casinos that are less likely to have such low confidence in their live games? I don't want to be switching casinos everytime I get lucky.

Thank you in advance.

I never use live chat.

For those interested on what my bets were, I simply made 8 bets on Red/Black (live dealer roulette) and won all of them, tripling my account immediately. lol

I then called it a night knowing that I was quite lucky and didn't want to ruin the moment. It was the first and last night at the casino, because when I logged back in a few days later, I was prohibited from accessing the live games.

If you distrust Joyland's live roulette platform which is (Playtech) then you probably wont want another playtech live casino recommendation, so you could switch to (Evolution gaming) like Unibet or what about Dublinbet that's filmed in the casino.

I see, you logged on, placed 8 consecutive even money bets, winning all 8, and then quit.

This was "way too lucky" to be a fair outcome, so they thought you had to be using some means to cheat the system, so got rid of you before you could win 8 more consecutive bets at much higher stakes.

It's slightly less than 50/50, yet many players have seen 10 reds and 10 blacks in a row when they bet the opposite and LOST 8 or 10 consecutive even money bets. If they then claim the game is rigged because of this bad luck, they are awarded a tin foil hat.

This kind of bizarre BS is common with Playtech, but there has been far worse, even "tin foil overcoat" statements, from some operators.
