Is Netent really at the bottom of the list as far as your gaming experience is concerned?
Personally I have been flying my flag with them over the past few years with a few of their games because they have treat me well with my campment in one great casino.
Tonight I flung a fair few quid and hours in Jumanji by Netent and was very akin to what I thought of Motorhead soon after its release.
Great plaudits from members in this forum at the time of release but find me a big win online from Motorhead and I will willingly give you a sexual service!
But I feel that Netent are slightly getting targeted unfairly.
Do you agree?

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
Some companies listen to feedback and improve their product to cater to their userbase.

Others will take that feedback, look at their quarterly turnover, roll around laughing, stick two fingers up at the customers that made them, and deliberately alienate them by designing products for a while new target audience!

No one cares about their demise because they seemingly don't care about us. Even BTG are more in touch, the power shift has been sensational.

Netent's last good game was Jungle Spirit, before that, CFTBL. And worse than that even is their constant pulling of older titles, because we all want to play Teletubbies don't we :D

So without putting too fine a point on it, 'F**k em'

I think OP is correct in that they're not the worst provider out there, even at the minute. That's not necessarily because they're being great but for the sheer amount crap allowed into the market. That said, NetEnt has struggled to put out a really good title for a long while, which is disappointing considering they're such a big company, spending loads of man-hours on every game.

they arent the worst provider imo, but tbf its not thanks to netent either. As long as there are providers like quickspin and such netent wont be the worst one out there :p But even quickspin recent releases have been decent (bar that dwarf game, that one is atrocious).

with so many games out there i dont really play netent slots other than DoA, Reel steal or something even older. Their maths model is killing me. Theoretical max wins of 100x-400x, and i say theoretical because its something that you will never see either, coupled with hit rate of 15% or so.

Most new netent slots play like this... 7-8 dead spins followed by one spin that pays 0,1x-0,5x and it usually repeats that cycle a few times. Honestly its the only provider that made me stop playing new releases after just one or two plays simply because after 2 regular sessions on their new slots you will be like 200-300x down and with thier paytables its pretty much impossible to actually win your money back so whats the point?

I said it before so ill just repeat myself here - all their new slots play like Magic Mirror Deluxe, but with 1/50 of its potential so i really see no point in playing their slots. MM deluxe has tons of dead spins, and yet people religiously play it. Archangels from netent also has tons of dead spins, but nobody plays that one. So yes i do think netent is doing it wrong.

Yes they are bottom because i have a touch screen laptop like Dunover, the games don't work properly you have to use finger on screen to get game going then go to the cursor to use the autoplay button, then click the limit amount using finger, then type the amount in using keyboard before going back to touchscreen to start the autoplay. It's nearly every netent game and playing casino games using a finger on the screen is not easy and uncomfortable.

Used to play 7-8 or so of their titles, nowadays, just 2 really

DoA of course (which I've finally decided isn't rigged when upgraded to HTML5) and CFTBL, an all time fave which is bloody awful these days.

Others I used to play which I've since given up on are Jungle Spirit, Egg O Matic and one of your (ex?) faves Warlords, just can't seem to win on them, ever!

New releases are quite bad, but the classics will do it, i really like lost island and cftbl. And shittower of course - never hit the top floor. Apart from the popular ones like DoA, JatB etc...

Actually had the honour of playing Scruffy Duck the other day, thought I'd give Netent the benefit of the doubt on their newer releases, maybe that magic is still there, somewhere.

I must have been quackers because that £25 deposit yielded one bonus, when down to £1.96 (chortle), where I recouped a massive £13!!

I bust out soon thereafter, but it's a dreadful game and dreadful model. Awful 'catch-up' gameplay mechanic and virtually no hope. Netent is dead, sorry

Totally agree with that. I think the last NetEnt game I played for any period of time (ie more than about 25 spins) was Hotline, and before that Jungle Spirit, but nothing in between. Having to play them on battles puts me off for life most the time. You're right about how they play, but at least you can actually win big on MMD, yeah it can wipe you out in minutes, but you also know it is possible for you to get 1000x+. Netent games, 10x+ is rare!

When I see new games I usually open them to have a few spins to see what its like, as soon as I see the NetEnt or Quickspin logo appear, I just close them without letting them finish loading as I know they will be garbage.

No way would I have Netent at the bottom. I would agree that the vast majority of their recent releases have been absolute crud that I wouldn't even give a second glance, let alone a second play.

But Quickspin is (IMO) far worse than Netent. And to be honest, I think Yggdrasil's payouts leave a lot to be desired as well.
But at least Yggdrasil's games LOOK nice.

Quickspin can't even make a game that is pleasing on the eye. They are just plain ugly in a nutshell (or out of one).

But I have to wonder why Netent continue to flog the proverbial dead horse that is "style and aesthetics first, substance and paytable second, player satisfaction last".
Are they really that completely out of touch with what players want? Or maybe they are just guilty of having pure contempt for the players instead?
Maybe this is what you get when you have an accountant in charge of the company (the CFO took over when the CEO stepped down, IIRC).

That all said, at least they HAVE made games which pay big (DOA being the obvious example) in previous years.

And as long as DOA exists, I don't think I would ever be able to say Netent are at the bottom.
Can anyone really say that Quickspin or Yggdrasil have produced a "classic"? I certainly can't. I do like Golden Fishtank, but would I call it a classic? Nah.

Let's not pretend that Netent are the only ones with this "let's just stand still" (which actually means they are going backwards) attitude.
Microgaming were guilty of it long before Netent were, resting on their laurels and living off their reputation.
To an extent though, both of them can get away with doing that, simply because they have created some classics which remain popular today.

But at some point, both of them are going to have to remove their collective heads from the sand.
Because the likes of BTG, Red Tiger and Push Gaming are producing titles that are getting plenty of attention from the player base.

Every time I see a new release from Netent or MG my first thought is....

"How much time and money have you wasted producing this soon to be forgotten piece of shite?"

I think the problem with Netent is when their games are released they seem to pay ok’ish but when they get gimped after the novelty wears off it stands out like a sore thumb. Games like Gonzo and especially Jungle Spirit are shadows of their former selves. I used to hit the bonus regularly on both and have wins up to x500. Now if you can get x25 out of Jungle you’v hit the jackpot. Don’t get me wrong for me they are no worse than a lot of other providers but the bottom line is they are all a million miles behind btg (and counting). I see it as having the choice between playing a seaside arcade game where I am guaranteed to lose or playing an all singing all dancing slot where I will have some proper cashouts and still have a chance of a massive win FOR THE SAME STAKE.

Sinking like a ship. not at the bottom but sinking fast. They been skimming it for ages and are starting to pay the price for it. I will agree some of there games look okay but they have cocked everything else up. as for there 96 to 97% rtp. utter crap.
Totally agree. That’s the thing they don’t seem to get, when you play a game regularly for sometime you know how it plays and get intune with it. They think we won’t notice when they start skimming it but it’s blatantly obvious.

I don't agree!

Maybe their new slots are not something, but sttill..I think theier new releaseds are better than mg'S...

Although, maybe I am exaggerating after I tried games from EGT and Gameart. Those provider should be banned forever, Netent variance is breeze comparing to them.

Yes the bottom line is apart from a handful of games there is no value compared with btg.

Yes, since they dumped one of the best slots ever made (South Park), they have SERIOUSLY slipped down the rankings :(
Most of their new games over the last 2 years have been pretty dire, with only a couple worth a few 100 spins on.

Great shame because they used to be the market leaders in innovation & entertainment.
