I'm posting here a bit late, but JHV mentioned he had a problem with InterCasino on another forum and I did some google searching and found this very entertaining thread.
I have to reiterate what someone said above, you wouldn't have got the win if you had took the time to click on the bet that you wanted. If you'd done that you would have hit the "deal" button a few milliseconds later, the rng would have dished out a completely different set of random numbers and you would have likely got a completely different hand. You should be thankful that you did make the mistake and won some money, however small that money might be to your gambling desires; because had you clicked "max bet" or whatever you need to do at this site, you would have got a different hand and most likely lost money, as they only pay back 99.5% on JOB.
Whilst what happened to you is annoying, it's basically tough cheese, you can't expect the casino to compensate you for not having the bet out there that you would have liked to have.
Compensating you for disconnections that are related to their software, well that's a different story, and the fact that the bet can reset to different values after a disconnect seemingly at random if you aren't aware of the way it works is very annoying and they could compensate you for that a bit, but it wouldn't be related to the money you think you missed out on because you got a royal flush on a small bet.
Note that your probability of getting a royal on the next hand is the same as what it is on every spin. Your probability of achieving that win that you desire on "max bet" in the future is unaffected by your "mistake".
The cs shouldn't have sounded like they will pay you when you first contacted them but also you know enough to be suspicious of what others say, people make mistakes, especially when you've only just explained the problem and they have to digest it for a while. They generally employ nice people and not smart people at the first line of contact and it's common to get things that aren't quite right from them in the first conversation.
Call me a retard or whatever you like, but this time you'll just have to cop it on the chin.
We've all got problems you know.
