I Hate the Reverse Withdrawal Facility

As long as payments have not started processing them you can always reverse. LiveSupport will do it for you if you had previously flushed it.

I wouldn't go to that effort. However, that is NOT good to know.

Good to know that 32Red allow you to 'take a break', but Ed and Pat, come on please bring back manual flushing, you know it makes sense :D

And 2 x daily payment runs and weekend processing please!!! :p

Geez, those were the good times

hate reversals...especially when weekends start on wednesday afternoons here in north america....so i avoid all casinos with this practice until sunday morning. i'm a videoslot player now. i love how easy it is to press that button and boom 10 minutes later its in your ewallet. love it.

how to avoid reversals: its hard but doable. i've also reversed and lost and also reversed and won but i can't tell you how much money ive lost doing 'the reversal.'
so now when there is a reversal in place...i just think of all the money i wasted and could have had....i also think of the happiness and satisfaction i get when that check finally arrives in the mail and/or when that amount finally lands in my ewallet. its a good feeling. reversing and losing. that is a bad feeling. and who wants to feel bad.

but it would be nice to straight away get your money out of the casino after winning at some of the casinos i play at.

Sorry Ebee, i hope i have not offended you. I know and understand the situation in the "Big Land of the Free", it must be very frustrating.

My comment was directed at players from other parts of the world where e-wallets and quick withdrawal options are fully available.

Nah, Harry - I knew what you meant

When I post these days, I tend to pepper them with the situation here, as opposed to other parts of the world so that, hopefully, a new player from this area knows exactly what they are getting into.

I lurk around other sites like this and nowhere do I see it stated plainly that:

Hey! You! From the U.S.! Yeah, you! Listen up: Neteller and Skrill are not an option! Before you withdraw you gotta get your account "Validated." We need your ID, a recent utility bill, fill out a form and fax it, and take pics of your Credit/Debit card front and back. And make damn sure they're clear! Then give us a few days to look them over. THEN make your withdrawal and wait for a few more days to get your return debit or check. Also - DON'T tell your bank that you're i-gaming.

Who is going to let an unsuspecting new player know this stuff? The casinos? Do they state it right out front? The affiliates on their sites? The spammers with their gazillion % bonus crap? Nobody mentions it anywhere until it comes time to WD and some poor bewildered sucker like me is going, :what:

This is not a rant. It is the facts of life i-gaming in the states. Period.

Okay then, so what to do? Should I start a thread in America The Beautiful?

If it sounds like I'm a little irked, well....I am - but not at you ;)

Ive got a healthy withdrawal pending currently at 32red knowing that it will be Tuesday next week now until its processed, its only four days to wait, I mean how hard can It be?

Enjoy Easter! - no computers/ipads etc., just some good old fun with family and friends, painting/stuffing/hunting eggs:D. Should be easy as pie = In Dutch "een eitje" (eitje = a small egg).

Well $5000 was accepted into my 'new' skrill account, However the third withdrawal of $1500 was sent back as I needed to go through the Skrill KYC verification hoops. Bad move as that $1500 and the other $1000 in my casino account, got 'consumed' last night. Hey how, it is what it is and still cashed out $2k up on what I started with. More importantly that is now in my own bank account.

I need to watch my video on Reverse Withdrawals again.

Just venting steam really. Casinos should not have this 'facility' or at the very least should allow you to 'flush' your pending withdrawal upon request. The Reverse Withdrawal only benefits the casino and certainly not the player. In the hope that players reverse their withdrawal and spend it and lose it at the casino.

I am currently nearly 24 hours in a 48 hour pending state with my withdrawal at Grande Vegas. I've hit a brick wall work wise and guess what? The temptation to reverse and while away some time 'playing' is there. Doesn't help there is now some $7k in there grrrr

Well it's not going to happen. I'm going to go home, then come back into the office in a couple of hours refreshed and WORK and not play my winnings back.

Stay strong, it's tempting but that's their terms. Lately, before I sign-up, I usually check whether the casino has flushing options! Wish you beat the temptation and enjoy your $7k!!

Reverse pending periods are the curse of the industry and leave nothing but bad feeling for players who do in the end go back in and "Loose"

I dont even bother with looking for casinos that flush these days and just stick to ones that pay within hours (minutes in some cases videoslots etc)
no questions asked.

Some of the top brands 32red ect used to see so much of my money but since the change going from one of the fastest
to one the slowest they are lucky to get 1 deposit a month. Why settle for less ?

There should be NO pending period at all.

I would love this to become part of the UKGC terms but doubt it ever would happen.

This weekend is a good example I have a choice where to deposit and will choose videoslots because if I do win
I will have the money in my hand same day. Rather than having to wait until Tuesday or Wed next week.

And probably even longer since its a bank holiday!

The reasons casinos have a non flushable withdrawal, is to increase their bottom line. No spin or anything else. Comes down to increasing revenue. It obviously works as well, otherwise all casinos would allow withdrawals to be instantly flushed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Casinos should give us the option to disable this feature.
Add it alongside the option for choosing daily deposit limits.
UKGC might listen if we send them enough complaints and highlight this predatory practice.

Would you like the abilty to reverse your withdrawals?

1, No.
2, Yes. 1 hour.
3, Yes. 8 hours.
4, Yes. 24 hours.

for me its simple, I wont let myself go on 32red for another three days. Also thinking about what I could do with the money too (new laptop/phone etc)

Anyway got some housework to do so need to keep busy :) No reversing for me my lad!

so I have been out for a few local beers and got home, in the past I would just reverse half and see how I go, but ultimately would end up reversing it all. three more days, how hard is it really?

Time for a nice curry now and catch up on some soaps.

If possible I usually self exclude / timeout for 48 hours and problem solved . Even if you redeposit at another casino in the meantime it's a lot better option than reversing your withdrawal .

I don't have a problem with reverse withdrawal, as I believe you have a responsibility to yourself to be responsible. Sounds tautological, but I think those of us who enjoy this hobby a lot ... we sometimes lie to ourselves, and when we mess up, we want to blame anyone but ourselves. Right, I get that this will not be a popular view here, lol, but that is my opinion.

Setting that aside, I think part of the problem is that we all remember times when we reversed a withdrawal, and managed to build that into a cashout of 10x more, or even 50x?? And so, we hope that EVERY time we reverse, it will turn out like that, and of course, most of the time we lose it all back. :D

As if this facility isnt bad enough its even worse at the JC group. At Club World you are allowed to make adeposit whilst there is a pending withdrawal. That means you can deposit $50, get a bonus and play to your heart's content whilst waiting for your withdrawal. You cannot do that at GV or any of the JC casinos. If it were an MG casino you can reverse say $100 or your pending withdrawal whereas the rest of your withdrawal ie $6900 stays intact. I venture to say JC is very poor in this asect.

I sort of agree with you except that casinos are deliberately adding a pending/reversible withdrawal phase before they even BEGIN processing the cashout . That slows down cashouts unnecessarily and is solely to take advantage of players' gambling weakness

Making withdrawals final , with no reverse possible should be part of the gambling responsibly rules and a necessary condition in casinos licensing imo

I ended up reversing the eight hundred I won and played some silly £20 spins on sterling silver, now have a reversible withdrawal request for £4,400

Need to stay strong now :)

Take a 72 hour cool off until the withdraw is processed, 4 grand is better in your bank then theirs, and you can try a few quid elsewhere while you are waiting for it to be processed.
