I am a little peeved...

I received an email from a RTG casino. (Will not name the casino because I have not contacted the rep, yet)

So, the last couple of times I withdrew winnings, I have had an email for either docs (which were on file already) or now the latest email is threatening me with being bonus banned:

Dear Jane,

I have been asked to inform you that our accounts department have flagged
your account for possible exclusion from future promotions.

You continually availed of bonus's that we send out to reward our regular
players, but you do not play unless it is bonus advantage play.

I must therefore confirm that unless we see a change in your pattern of
play i.e. bonus free playing, we will be denying any future bonus's that
you try to redeem.

This is not an action that we take lightly, however continual misuse of
the bonus program seriously effects our ability to reward our regular
players.

Please note, no exclusion is yet in place, this is simply a friendly heads up.

.

I have been a loyal customer of this casino for quite a few years....

I am slightly upset and pissed off.

Any comments or similar problems?

I play there maybe once or twice a week but lately not too often due to having to pay for bills etc..lol.

And now I get this stinger.

No problem really, I just won't take a bonus from this casino again but really I am surprised by this.Or just take my business elsewhere. Maybe a casino that appreciates my business and understands that yes, occasionally I may withdraw a win or two.

I know what casino it is and I feel for you.
I'm sure they give you freebies every week too, small ones

Can't they stop giving out all of these bonuses if they don't want their players to use so many?

I got fed up with them and closed my account a while back. Have never got that letter though.

Play where you're appreciated Jane :)

I don't know why these casinos just don't get it.

It would almost be funny if it wasn't so stupid and the solution so simple. They need a simple tier system where the bonuses are tailored to the players and instead of sending you an insulting letter like they did they just move you to a different tier.

To any casino reps. reading this, don't offer bonuses if you don't want players using them!

And come on New York, follow NJ's example and get with the times!

A casino that creates a fair loyalty scheme do not have to ban players from using it. It should be designed to directly benefit the players who play most often.

Sounds more like their loyalty system is flawed and to contact a player and advise them not to take advantage of it is insulting to the player.

I agree, bigjohn.

Yes! I am waiting for NY to get online! I wish I lived a little nearer to the NJ border..lol.

(side note: if PA and NY were to go online, I may have to think about moving to Port Jervis ..lol;) ...to those that don't know where Port Jervis is, it's a city that is bordering on PA,NJ and NY.):p

But getting back to the subject, this should be put on the thread started by Laurie...the wish-list,concerning the bonus tier system that you mentioned.

I think I know what casino this is too. They do really need to cop on. With RTG software you are lucky to get a cashout for every 20 deposits you make so for the most part bonuses just extend game play. I always use a bonus on this software otherwise it's not worth the bother. So this casino lost a regular depositor over nothing really. Secret if I were you I would do what Tirilej's advice and take your play elsewhere. I am sure another RTG casino would be delighted with your patronage:)

A rough translation from the casino's language to the players would probably read more like "You profited off of our bonus system. Continuing to do so will result in a ban from future promotions."

Players should be free to use any promotion the casino offers. If they offer daily promotions then players should be able to use them daily. I can understand limiting the amount of free chips a player can accept but apart from that casinos shouldn't be offering promotions if players benefiting from them is causing the casino an undue amount of hardship or stress.

It might be hard for some casinos to understand but they are gambling just like we are every time they let us spin the slots. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. In the long run they should come out ahead and in the long run we should come out behind but short term, it's anyone's game.

When the casino offers promotions they're taking a gamble that the player won't be able to win if they take it. If this happens the casino loses.

It's been said that players who don't like to lose shouldn't be gambling. Well, casino operators that don't like to lose shouldn't be gambling either.

If you run a casino and you don't like to lose, you're in the wrong business. It's going to happen.

Of course this isn't the first time someone got lucky a few times and the casino chased them away instead of being patient and waiting for them to give it all back. It probably won't be the last either.

Thanks osulle,

I have a pending withdrawel with this casino, hence this latest email.

But you are correct about taking my business elsewhere. I hope 'elsewhere' gets their casino up and running again soon, without the problems they are having right now.;)

Excellent post, Skiny.

This casino has not paid out too much to me in the years I have played there, in comparison to other RTG casinos.

I have won RJ's at other casinos with bonus's and never have I had a warning at all.

I too know the casino since I received the same email after winning off of a bonus (I started taking bonuses after the change of play in the slots). I stopped playing there altogether because I did as they asked and deposited and did not claim a bonus but by then , they sent me my "hit the street" letter...so I did.

If they run enough players off maybe they will revisit their insulting ways of chasing a player away. I did not receive an email saying anythng about the last 30 deposits I lost, but boy did it come quick on a bonus deposit win! Got to love the way they think.

.

Poor Losers

The strange thing is the Casinos are offering "bonuses", but it is always with a HIGH HIGH playthrough plus they forget(or don't acknowledge) that the player put in a REAL deposit. Theirs is only "on paper" unless someone actually wins. That is the only time they lose a bonus, and from my perpective that isn't very often percentage wise.

Just today I took a 50% bonus----that means I had twice as much at stake as they did and they required me to play it 30 times before I could cash anything out.----I got only through 2 times!!!
That isn't even "playtime"!

Poor Poor Casino!

Seems like some online casinos only want people who do not win to get the bonuses, its a shame, the b&m casinos give free play based on play because they want you to give back some of your winnings but seems like the biggest winners get no promos to keep playing online. Live and Learn

How can playing RTG with bonuses be regarded as advantegous? I would never touch RTG slots without a bonus, all their slots are just so high variance..

I two know the casino, had the exact email few weeks back
I had just had a back to back withdrawal from a bonus yes, but what botherd me the most and i counted i had 35 deposits before that one
50/50 bonus and not bonus, without any withdrawals, so how i am suppose to be able to beat the system all of a sudden is beond me :)
actually it put me off a bit and think ive only deposit twice there since.

No need to complain about a casino without letting them get the feedback
...so I gave them the link to this thread ;)

Edit: Just read that you wanted to contact the rep before you named the casino Jane.
I hope it's ok that I sent the pm to them. Still no name told. Sorry:o

Hi Secret,

The name of the casino is not a SECRET LOL. Begins with the letter 'I'. 3 years ago I received a similar email and was pissed off with their attitude when I tried to reason with them. We are customers and the casino should be welcoming us. Instead they make it seem we are getting the privilege of being able to play there. They had the nerve to close my account because of my attitude and never even considered that their attitude was roughly the same if not worse.

They are free to attach higher wagering requirements to their bonuses but the attitude they show is just not moving along with the times.

They pride themselves on paying players promptly and on that score I agree. However, I read in other forums that they are starting to deny player winnings by citing rules that they do not adhere to themselves. Its a pity those complaints didn't make their way here otherwise we would know much more about them.

As it is, RTG casinos are seemingly underfunded. The high variance of the games entails in a few mega-wins breaking their banks. Rushmore, Slotocash are a couple who are under financial stress. Others are likely to follow in the coming year.

There seem to be an increase in slow pay complaints from this casino on the forum. So maybe some pride is slipping there.

All casinos facing the US are having problems so I don't believe for a second that it has anything to do with pride.
They want to pay fast and do not want that kind of complaints since fast paying is what makes people play there.

The complaints I'm more interested in. Would you mind sending me a link to those forums Chuchu?

I noticed the increase in slow pay complaints but hope its just a temporary thing as they have been very strong in this department in the past but hey wasn't that the same for Slotocash since they sorta slipped a couple of months ago.

What hasn't changed though is their snobbish attitude. Being a Marketing guy I understand the importance of treating your customers well. They can restructure their bonuses in such a way that they are uncashable, carry higher WRs etc. etc. Just don't threaten the customers with such amateurish emails and act as if its a privilege to play there. This casino and its sister casino are small fry even among RTG casinos. For customer service, 32RED, GUTS and Betat are streets ahead of them.

I think there were a few issues with cheque payments in Europe recently as well. You can do a google search and the forums will show up.:)

I always say google is your friend:) Just type in casino name slow pay issues and it will come up. You can also type in casino name complaints.

Cheers:thumbsup:

I always do that and did it again. Nothing from Europe, just USA.
I couldn't wade through all of them and they are not dated in order. Also it can be from their sistercasino and they should maybe not be mixed up.

Besides I'm not interested in slow paying issues. What chuchu wrote was that there was other complaints about denying cashouts on other forums.
It's not ok to just say it like that, if the complaints are not valid. We don't know and I don't want them to get a bad reputation for things that's not true.

I have been reading this thread and am very curious to know what casino. I do hope to find out soon. Curiosity did kill the cat though :D. I do not agree with sending threatening emails at all. Sometimes it takes a while to be able to withdraw and RTG is very hard to do that at (IMO) so to pull bonuses for winning is not good at all.

Why do people not wish to name the casino?

secret2 has a valid grievance and many people have stated that they have been treated similarly.

Just name the casino and allow their Rep to respond.

I'm guessing it's INetBet.

I got that same email from Inetbet a few years ago. Their customer service is the rudest I have come across.

Mind you this was only weeks after being asked to give them positive feedback for their monthly newsletter because I won around $1k on T Rex. Glad I declined.

They just don't like people winning on bonuses.

Haven't played there since. I get emails from time to time inviting me back? I don't think so.

Agreed, I was strictly speaking about slow pay issues and searched on that basis. Also I was speaking of the issues posted here. I also think it was very bad form for them to send what could be construed as a rude letter to Secret telling her she was bonus banned. It is their right to bonus ban a player (although it's not good business strategy as they will loose her future deposits) but they could be nicer in their correspondence.

Cheers:thumbsup:

She's not bonusbanned yet. It's just a ''friendly'' warning:rolleyes:
They send the exact same email to anyone that's risking to lose their bonuses.

They also have a prewritten birthdayemail that they send to some customers on their birthdays. Those that haven't made a deposit for some time.
I never asked for a bonus on my birthday. Still the email started with- Thank you for your mail!...then it went on telling me they were reviewing my account for a birthday bonus. I think in the bottom it said happy birthday :p

One day they will understand that even if they don't mean to be rude, they still are.

oops! my bad:o. You are also bang on the button with the emails. I get them too and when I see thank you for your mail, I go what mail? To be honest I haven't played there for a while as I never liked their customer service. RTG has been a black hole for me for a couple of years. Grande Vegas and Jackpot Capital treat me good so I deposit there and occasionally at Club World.

The thing is, RTG slots operate generally at a lower RTP in many cases than other software - a bonus is almost a prerequisite to get any playtime. The WR's are generally mental anyway, but even so some players do cash two or three consecutively. So if you're lucky you get penalized. A bonus is a bonus, not a poisoned chalice.

These sites should also bear in mind that they should be building a player-base, not demolishing it; NJ is just one, but more US states will come online as time goes by, almost like a domino effect which would take millions of US players out of their market unless they can be as competitive and reliable as the properly licensed and regulated NJ operations.

These e-mails like Suzecat received may eventually go down as some of the dumbest suicide notes ever written.....

All I am willing to say is that I like to play on the net to bet.;)

This casino has the audacity to send me even more emails concerning Premium Player Bonuses! :what:

Left hand, right hand..

I think it was good that you started this thread secret2.

Maybe they will listen and maybe not. We can only hope.

Besides, you can still use bonuses. You're not banned...yet:rolleyes:
Either you do 50/50 deposits or you use them until they remove them totally.

I say go win more :D

They should listen and learn that this thread has shown them that some peeps have closed their account with them.

They should stop with the threats and I have emails that would blow your mind with threats..but as I have not mentioned their name, I will wait.

They have in the last few months 'recovered' their attitude' somewhat..but now the tude is back, again.

I agree fully, I am shocked that they haven't done this.

Just a Quick Good Night Note

Today, I played a Mother's Day Bonus at Inetbet and made it through 1.875 times!!!

No Feature Free Spins at all.

So--tonight my son happened to mention that there is a Full Moon out there!

I thought---what the heck---the farmers plant potatoes by the light of the full moon---

maybe I could win a pot of gold by the full moon---

So I took the Monday Madness bonus for 100% and I did get a couple of feature games,
one for 15 spins and $79.70 and one on Count Spectacular for 12 spins and $20.50.

All told, the return increased from this afternoon---I closed out at 3.23%!!!

Of course you all know the WR for bonus there is 20X.

So I guess even Count Spectacular doesn't howl at the moon!!:)

Good Night

MaryJean

I to received this letter From InetBet. I played for many months depositing multiple times a week and never made it as far as cashing out and then I had a lucky night and hit a nice feature while playing with a bonus and was able to cash out so I did. The following week or there abouts I took another bonus and deposited and was able to make a nice cash out of around $1K then I got the bonus warning letter so my next few deposits were done without claiming a bonus and then I figured I had done as the letter requested and claimed a bonus and even though I did not reach Play through I was bonus banned.

I took my buisness to Jackpot Capital and have been much happier with them. I had a run of cashing out once a week for 6 weeks in a row and many were in the $1k-$2k all on $20 - $40 deposits with bonus use and never had any issues. I even received my withdraws faster than I did at Inet. Jackpot capital has earned my business and I will rarely ever play any where except with that group of casino's.

I do agree Jackpot capital is under rated and deserves mention as one of the best US facing accredited casinos. They have great CS reps who go out of the way to make sure any questions or concerns are taken care of and they are very friendly no matter the situation.

Yes Jackpot Capital is one of the best RTG groups out there. I also like Grande Vegas which used to be owned by Jackpot Capital but isn't anymore. I am very frustrated with RTG I throw a couple of deposits in each month and haven't been able to get a sniff of a cashout in over 2 years. I have managed to cashout on a free chip but that is it. My sessions last in less time it takes to drink a beer. I used to be able to play on a deposit for hours a couple of years ago. Not sure if they changed the RTP setting to 92% but it sure feels that way.
I don't know why but I have never been a fan of Inetbet or Slotocash. I guess you stick with what's familiar:D

Totally by accident. I read a press release think it was on here and it was listed on the accredited section. I just checked and now its back to Jackpot Capital Group. Now I know it said something different a couple of weeks ago. I know I am not going insane (well maybe a little)

Ok, we maybe should ask the rep what it's about. I saw they all have different owners but still are in the same group.

This whole gambling world are insane so no need to feel alone :D

Your probably right but I could have sworn I read something about them being sold to a business based in the caribean. Makes sense though that they all could have different owners just managed by Jackpot Capital. Anyway no matter I still play at Grande Vegas more often and Jackpot Capital from time to time. Never get anywhere really. I might be pleasantly surprised one day we will see:)
