Wondering what RTP is? Find out here at Casinomeister
I joined Cosmic Spins yesterday because I wanted to find out what their RTP was like.

In a nutshell - they won't let you demo play or load a single game without depositing first. A buy before you try approach :)

They want you to register your payment details before checking out a game!

Here's the interesting live chat, after two conspicuously ended chats:

Im thinking their RTP is poor :p

The last screenshot is not in the wrong order, they literally locked live chat to fob me off :)

I would stay away from all Betable casinos - if they are trying to hide RTP then what else are they hiding?

The only really good thing about all of this malarky is the crap casinos stand out a mile with all the cloak and dagger around revealing RTP.

Tells a story about their mindset and company culture.

Tweaked the thread title to something more meaningful, was "Hmmmmmmm". I trust no one will be overly inconvenienced by this.

This may be the stupidest thing ever said but what you mean singular version and any examples

No such thing as a stupid question as they say.

Some game developers like Big Time Gaming and Relax Gaming make single version slots.

So, Bonanza or Money Train will be the same no matter which casino you play at.

Play'n GO and Red Tiger for example make several different versions of slots.

So, Book of Dead might be 96% with a decent casino like Unibet, but found at 91% at Trada :)

Stick to the single version slot studios.

Single version slots but different mathmodel, atleast btg

Studios are definitely folding but there are new releases every week of single versions. All of the big companies have partner studios and lots make single versions. New slots every week with single version RTP.

There are also thousands of slots that have not been converted from developers back catalogues.

Players are not limited for choice. Only limited in playing some of their favourites now. I used to play PnG all the time, now they barely get a sniff even at max RTP and I don't miss them. They all pay and they all take.

Don't play them, simple.

@curremon - how do you mean different math model? As in, its been changed? Its the same wherever you play isn't it apart from the Megapays version.

Just Look Bonanza from relax and NYX... Totally difference games, reel overlay, chance of feature , Big basegame hits etc....

The Relax version used to play very nicely for me at low stakes with an occasional nice bonus here and there which made it exciting to play but it seemed to be 'updated' to make it harder to get a bonus and even when you did it was dead 9/10 times. If anything the Quickfire/Microgaming one seems less harsh (not great to any lengths) to me now.

Going by my experience of 94% png, using that as a rough scale, these 91 and under games must come close to legalized theft. I think the lower they go the stronger the argument becomes for the odds to be included of the various paytable wins. On a safe/responsible gambling basis, the consumer needs more relevant info the higher the risk of loss imo.

Edit:
"All slots below 95% rtp must include odds nformation for the paytable'...there you go ukgc, just add that to the rules, this would help the consumer to gamble responsibly and be gamble aware, if that is one of your key objectives.

Thank you!!!! 2 years ago it was my only option as a canadian. softswiss powered casinos were letting canadians play the relax version of btg games. It was showing the same rtp in help files but games were all dead running at 40% all days long. It was a complete disgrace. Once loto quebec made a deal with btg, relax blocked ip’s from canada so my new only option was to play the nyx version on espacejeux website (quebec) and believe it or not…:: games were insane hot running at 96% after a couple thousand spins

Play'n Go offer say a 96.20% 'factory' RTP slot in 2% increments down to 84.20%, Netent I believe offer them down to 86% and other developers like Pragmatic I see demo versions where the options are only 96.xx and 94.xx. They aren't alone, nearly all developers do this now. Remember, the casino is their customer, not you, therefore they call the shots.

Maybe the UKGC should introduce a minimum RTP and make it a requirement that the RTP is clearly displayed when you open a game and you have to click OK to acknowledge it before you can play the game in real money mode. The casinos wouldn't be able to silently shove in lower RTP versions of the games without us clearly seeing then (we wouldn't have to trawl the help files every time we opened a game then)

It does seem now that, apart from at a few selected casinos, 94% is the default we're going to see at mainstream casinos. Also no doubt if custom isn't affected too much by them going down to 94% they'll then keep on lowering it as far as they can get away with.
