How did someone get my password at 3dice?

I was pretty sure that if someone logged into your 3Dice account it had to have been from your own computer. Even if a keylogger was used to record your password the person who used it would have to have your account number too. I don't think most people retype that every time they log in.

I agree with Enzo, the best thing is to change your windows password and shut your computer off when you're not around. That way people can't be mucking around with it when you're gone.

Now on a side note if there is a hacker out there attempting to make deposits into other people's accounts let me know. I'll take all the help I can get. :p

I have my auto-complete on, my account # shows up but my password does not.

Seems there are only a few possibilities here. Hacked via wireless, someone at home logged in, trojan or keylogger was used or the op isn't being upfront. The other thing I'm curious about is how did the OP find out about this, since there weren't any actual deposits made and I'm assuming that an OKPay account wasn't even created because Enzo said the page was just clicked around on.:confused:

No.......op has been here since 2006, so she certainly isn't a newbie. Also I noticed one of her older threads was about her husband having a gambling problem and running up some charges that he was going to have to pay back. So I wonder, is her husband still in the house? If so, why would she leave out that pertinent information? She did confirm that there are others in her household but she said they weren't there when the deed was done but yet in another post there is talk of multiple attempts to log into OKPay. Also why didn't she answer if she had a OKpay account or not? Some, what seems to be conflicting info here. Something seems off here.

Norton employ people to do research like this, how did these researchers come to the conclusion that a site run by a guy whose freeware is openly available to all, and is a none profit organisation and has software that will trace the hardest to locate security risk viruses out there, and the ones that do the most harm, for free, as a security threat, when it is blatantly plain to see that the (detailed by them as a Trojan) is nothing more than a harmless prank internet type toy, a piss poor analogy from a piss poor security software imo.

Couldn't agree more ... I own a Digital firm ... We stay well clear of Norton. Not only because it is so resource hungry, but also it stamps any application we might try as spyware if it doesn't fit within their guidelines. My last organization used to have them and we had to literally disable it to install anything at all. There are soo many freeware apps that are great. There's even one from Microsoft which I use :

. It gets rid of all the shit from my porn downloads :D

anyway...if someone wants to make a deposit on my accounts..please call me ...I will give you all the info needed:D

I am not so sure mate .... Have you heard of the Nigerian King that has left millions of dollars in your name and all you have to do is send the solicitor your account details? ... Did you get that email? ... Account informations can be easily manipulated even if you think people are trying to deposit and you have nothing to lose.

There is no option with 3dice software to save your password. It does save your account number so you don't have to retype that.

My guess is someone at home either knew the password or found it, logged in, went to the cashier, clicked okpay which probably opens the website and then started clicking aimlessly hoping to accidently deposit not knowing that the person who owns the account doesn't even have an okpay account.

Perhaps it was a spouse checking out the deposit history? May have noticed money going missing and wondered where it went and the frequency of the money disappearing?

Just a thought!

If this true ( I haven't looked at that post about hubby having a gambling problem) but this sounds more on the mark. Even if he is out of the house were the locks changed to the house, etc?... just a thought as I have had a similar problem but NOT by my husband.

Not sure what OP's prob is but I have a question for those computer junkies.....

Approx 3 months ago could not log in to my msn hotmail account and did everything they suggested to do to correct the problem. I was able to login while in "safe-mode" for about 1 month, then suddenly everytime I was in safe-mode and attempted to login to my hotmail account the computer crashed, restarted and had to go through all sorts of things diagnostics to get back to normal. Obviously, my account was hacked as prior to that my email account was sending out emails to random people that I had previously received emails from and sent emails to. I did not send the emails. Ran virus scan and also tried a few free standing scans from other companies. Yielded nothing. Had to start using my AOL email address.

any thoughts on what else I can try as need to access msn hotmail live

If you can use another account close hotmail. This by far is the worst email service of all time. It breeds spammers, hackers etc. If you really need to use a free email account, use GMail.

I got my two hotmailadresses hacked too about three month ago. For the exact same reason, to send spam to my contacts.
They closed my accounts imediately, and I had to change my passwords, but it have been working since.
It was frustrating not to be able to log in for a few hours, but it was good to get a reminder of how fragile those adresses actually are.

It also felt a little funny to be the one sending a few casinos a little spam:p
