Just a quick one guys. As I am just laying a few midweek at the minute not much time for much else.


The contact I have in England that gave me a nice couple of debutants this past year some won/placed at decent odds and some obv bombed out because we are talking about first time out 2yo or 3yo horses here.

Anyway the guy told me Banana in the first at Newmarket. His text just said. The horse is well forward and provided it doesn't run green they expect a very good run. The entire field are newcomers so its wide open.


I took 14/1 ew 3 places on PP earlier. That is since gone. Its 10's there now. But still 12/1 with Bet365 and Betvictor if anyone punts there.

Traded as low as 2/1 in running.

Beaten 5th a head or so behind 3rd place. One for the notebook.

1/1, good start Made also safe bet with odds 2.88 for his 2 winners to get very tiny profit if 3 not happen. So probably easy money available to just lay anything he rides today now.... One NR there of course but by quick look, quite disappointed if he doesn't beat one more of these first home today.

He is flying at the moment. In some ways the Skeltons reminds me of how Martin Pipe/Scudamore progressed in racing.

I neglected to check out Laura Pearson's rides at Kempton this evening when putting my bets on so I will have an ew round robin on her 3 rides this evening. The odds on them all are shortening and I can only suspect that it is because her supporters are growing

Yup. Me too. But I cant resist the temptation of a decent priced one which is "working well at home"

To be fair he only contacts me 6/7 times a year and I'm a little bit in profit. The last one he gave me was Statement last year which placed twice then won. Although won at a short price. This one had a very similar profile(same trainer same owners) I do think the horse has a race in him as a juvenile so I'll keep an eye out.


As for Skelton. I assume hes riding plenty of ones with decent chances, trying to get winners on the board for the jockeys championship.

I don't know if you saw stone of destiny's race but SDS was pulling the head off it for 2/3f before it settled. Also got chopped off when going for a run 2f out. Otherwise it would have been a lot closer definitely worth retaining in your future bets when the opportunity looks right imo.

Feels that this can't lose, got 200/1, bring on party

Skelton managed "only" win two today which was enough for very tiny profit and bet was live until the end, Harry won first and third so two races to land my winner but never happened, his last ride on favorite was bit disappointing, last from beginning to end...

edit: Just saw my "almost 100% sure winners" Yankee why i even looked, should be enough if winnings not appear in balance... At least improving tomorrow shouldn't be mission impossible.

It looked like it was going to win for a bit and only got beat 1/2 length

I'll probably do some kind of football bet too and I've backed Corey Conners each way in the golf so I'll watch some of that too.
