I have installed the casino but during login exit: "account under review"!
In live chat they told me this:

Freddy Hills: As we are a new casino, currently Mandarin Palace casino is only targeting a specific audience of players. At the moment we are not accepting registrations for players that are not on the list. As your account is not on this list, it has been placed under review. I assure you that as soon as the casino is open to all players, you will receive an email to invite you to come and play at the casino.

Freddy Hills: I apologize for the inconvenience. Our Marketing Department, are working on future campaigns so please be patient with us, I am sure it will only be a matter of time before you receive an offer from our Marketing Department to try out the casino. I look forward to having the privilege of welcoming you to the casino in the near future. We do sincerely appreciate your patience in this regard.

I received an email a few weeks ago claiming I had a free $50 chip waiting for me once I download the casino. I downloaded and requested the $50.

They also told me the free chip was for "certain" players and my account would be reviewed. If I meet the criteria I would get the $50.

I argued that they should state that in their email. I did receive the $50 2 days later.

I also got the email telling me I would receive something in the mail. I never made a deposit so I would guess it's another free chip or a match bonus.

I'm new here, so, Hello!

I played at Spin Palace for years, until they closed all US accounts. Since then I haven't played online.

I recently got an invite for Mandarin Palace in the mail, with that free $50 bonus. Figured it was worth a shot to try out.

Signed up and received my bonus promptly. Then promptly lost it :)

As gutsy as it is, without knowing this place at all, I made a deposit, played for a while, came out way ahead, cashed in, and am now waiting on my check to come in the mail....

Not sure what you guys want to know, but I can try to answer any questions about them.

I'm still waiting for my special package to arrive in my snail mail. I'm leery about clicking on links as I have just recovered from a nasty worm which took me $40 and 3 days to get rid of. So, I may just pass up "my chance of a lifetime" on this one.

Received Same Offer

I also downloaded the software, accepted the funds (50) and played forever. For some reason could not lose. Got tired and went to cash out. Agreement says Non Depositors can cash out 500. I tried and tried, finally they said it was approved - now waiting for my check. They have deducted the 50 bonus and the cost for the check 15 - as of now still have not been paid. I played the account as if it were play money and I am up to over 8000. Can't get the balance down to make a deposit or I will owe them for the rest of my life. Have ask them to clean account, just take the winnings and they say that they can not do that.
Don't know what to do now..................

Alarm bells should be ringing!!!!!!!

They expect a deposit on top of the remaining 7500, and they CANNOT zero the account, BUT the rules of the offer say that you can only cash in 500.
This needs further clarification, as it opens the floodgates for abuse of every kind. For a start, the 7500 can be subject to "bonus abuse" claims by the casino if a deposit is now made, and further play generates another cashout. Them simply allowing the 7500 to be kept simply by you making a token first deposit come under "if it's too good to be true - it isn't"

ksech received an EMAIL (spam-mail) telling him he was on the invite list, and to expect the postal offer. This doesn't stack up:-

1) You CANNOT deduce a snail mail address from a EMAIL address without breaking a few privacy laws. If indeed a postal package does arrive, this casino has some very probing questions to answer. How did they get hold of the mailing list, since casinos DO NOT "sell, or pass on, your personal details to 3rd parties....etc...etc....BS....BS".

2) The email is sent to an email address, NOT a person, so without having a database they shouldn't have, they cannot "verify" any accounts opened through the email links as from persons on the invite list.

I have noticed an increasing trend of casinos going for "invite lists" when launching, and then opening to all comers later on. Whatever the reason for this, one thing is certain, they are getting the information from somewhere to build these invite lists, yet players receiving such invites are invariably posting here "so and so casino - anybody heard of them". Clearly, those on the list are being kept in the dark, as to WHY they have been invited, otherwise they would KNOW who "so and so casino" is.

Villa Fortuna did the same earlier last year. I got one too, and they certainly kept ME in the dark as to how they got my details. It turned out it was Grand Prive, and at first they tried denying it, and even asked posters to have their posts taken off the forums, because Grand Prive had been "outed". After realising the information was outed for good, they then explained that they had to get a few players signed up & playing BEFORE THEY COULD GET THEIR GAMING LICENSE:eek:
THis seemed pretty shocking to me, but it offers a clue. I'll bet we find that Mandarin Palace is "licensed" in Malta, but has only a "Letter of intent", rather than a full gaming license. Malta have not explained this to PLAYERS, who look to a regulatory authority for protection,. To me, it looks like the players on this invite list are the guinea pigs, IF the casino doesn't screw them over, they get a full License from the LGA, BUT it means the PLAYERS are being expected to do some of the work of the LGA for them.

MY expectation is that a casino gets it's team together, presents it's business model to the licensing authority, passes due dilligence, gets gaming license, and THEN opens to players.

At present, we need to know who is behind this new casino BEFORE putting any of our own money in. IF it comes from a trusted group, then it should not be a problem playing at one of their new offerings, even if currently running under a letter of intent.

EDIT:-

I STILL don't know - their website gives NO obvious indication of the SOFTWARE, and only says in "about us" that they are based in Netherland Antillies.

Found this though,

Mandarin Palace offers some of the most generous bonuses in the industry. In order to avoid any abuse of these bonuses by bonus abusers, the casino institutes a maximum withdrawal limit for players who have made no deposit.

Where the player has made no deposit, a maximum withdrawal amount of $500 applies Any funds over and above the maximum stipulated withdrawal amount will be granted to the player as 100% match deposit bonuses available for use at his/her discretion at any time over the 6 months following the withdrawal)
These measures are intended purely to discourage and prevent abuse of the casino's generous offers.

This gives the OP some $7500 worth of 100% match bonuses - very nice indeed, but look before you leap!

The terms offer clues it might be Microgaming, yet it also boasts a mere 30 games, and the few slots illustrated do NOT seem to be Microgaming ones. The terms have flavours of Grand Prive and Casino Rewards, but they offer a $10,000 per WEEK withdrawal limit, not the $2000 per MONTH ones that seem all the rage for new casinos.

There is a VERY strong hint this is a casino set up specifically for US players (read the terms CAREFULLY, and look "between the lines"). Players registering from OUTSIDE the US and Canada are probably the ones being told their accounts are being put on hold till a more general launch.

This may be from a reputable team, but it may be a "rogue" targeting the US market by giving away as little information as possible to avoid savvy players realising.

I can see nothing, other than similarity of name, to suggest this is run by Palace Group. Consider this, 32vegas, and 32Deck have nothing to do with 32Red, but have a striking similarity of name.

If Palace Group ARE behind it, then it should be a safe place to play. Casino Rewards? - proceed with care. Grand Prive? - in the pit.

Not Microgaming? Well, obviously too lazy to write their own terms, as they refer to Playcheck and cashcheck, and have something that looks like the MG bonus system. Not being MGS, as suggersted by their featured slots, and mere 30 games, means they are likely to disappoint.

Why not give it a shot?

I came across this post yesterday since I always consult casinomeister before playing any online casino's this day in age. I also received a disk with a $50.00 free chip yesterday. I downloaded the software and then made a account. I went to the cashier menu and redeemed the bonus code and with in seconds had $50.00 to play. The games took a few minutes to load and I noticed after every log out they must reload.

I started off by playing a classic 3 reel 1 line slot named dream wheel, It was locked at 3 coins of $1.00 each so $3.00 a spin due to its bonus feature. On the first spin I hit the bonus feature which required you to get the spin icon on the pay-line last reel. It allowed me to spin the wheel (set up like wheel of fortune) and I won $350.00 ;) so I took a few more pulls and then switched to a video slot and breeched $1000.00 with in 30 minutes with $9.00-$12.00 pulls. After hopping around to a few different video slots I had a balance of around $2400.00 with in a hour and with in a few hours met the play-through requirements of $2000.00. I then called customer support and was greeted by a friendly and professional man, I asked him what the max cash-out for the $50.00 free chip (thinking it was only $50.00 like most casinos) and was told $500.00 not a mil but not bad for free.

I've won hundreds and thousands from free chips before only to find the max cash-out to be $50.00-$150.00 and would just throw it all back with no cares but I think I'll take this one. So today I went to withdraw after playing my balance to $500.00 and it said the bonus was still active???? So I placed another call to customer support and was greeted by a friendly woman who kindly checked into this matter for me, after verifying a few things and a few moments on hold I was told they had to deduct the $50.00 bonus to make the amount of $450.00 withdrawable which sounded more than fair to me. I made a withdraw today via courier check in the amount of $450.00 and have to go fax a copy of my id and utility bill tomorrow so after the check fee I should get around $420-$435.00 but im sure I will wait for it lol. I will keep you posted when the check is received. I would have done the wire transfer but that is something I don't stand by or recommend.

Now lets get to the casino, Over all its a very simple design with easy to navigate menus, I myself like the old pull-down menus but this casino offered a revolving menu style. Allot of its features and games are way different than any casino I have played at in my 7+ years of on-line gaming so don't expect the same casino different name thing here. Its not at all like spin palace in any way, I really loved spin palace, I won there many times and got my winnings put back on my card in a matter of 48hrs but for Michigan players like me thats done and gone  . Over all its not a bad casino I played at worse and it beats casino like ROB-O-CASH lol. It only has around 30 games to choose from but to my knowledge its fairly new and I'm sure they will be adding. I guess they are only taking invited players for now so if you get the free $50.00 invite I see no reason why you shouldn't give it a try.

What check method did you choose and what was the fee? Im thinking about reversing my withdraw and waiting on the standard check after reading the fee for a courier check is based on the location. Its not a bad casino in my opinion but how I miss spin palace...

Well, since my original post, I kept reversing my withdrawal, playing, and then cashing in again. I'm way up, so I'm done with this round till I actually see that I get paid. It's been 24 hours now, so just 24 more to go, until they process it (though, I assume it will wait until Monday).

Before my last withdrawal, I placed a $30 bet (Black Jack) and won, so I chose the check by courier (FedEx is who they use) for $30. In my opinion, charging anything is ridiculous. Also, something else that bothers me is that they won't flush a cashin. Spin Palace used to flush them immediately upon request and funds would arrive in my back account within a couple days. I too miss Spin Palace very very much.

Thanks for your fast reply, Im going with the courier check. Let me know if and when you get paid and I'll do the same. I just took clear pics of my doc's and sent them via email to them so im waiting to see if that will work. Good luck and god speed thanks again.

Im a little in doubt.

So I got on again today and used the 800+ comp points I gained from the 50 free chip winnings and got 105.00 redeemed. Im up to 500.00+ with 58% play through completed. The funny thing is this casino hits more than all the RTG'S i've been playing like rushmore, club world and jackpot capital where 100.00 real cash = a $0 cash out because I can never breech 250.00. So If we do get paid I will return for sure. Im starting to like the place (so far)

Invited players

I was wondering if there is a fun mode version? If so can you play without registering? The site looks simple and cool, wouldn't mind checking out the software. Terms seem straight forward, just the way I like them.

there is

But you have to make a account to play free, I cant place the software at all. It runs slow on my computer because I need to format my drive and start over. All I can say is if they pay out then I made alot of free money and I would deposit. Its up to them now so we will see. In wins I put them over RTGs for sure. But thats just me. Good luck

Alarm bells are STILL ringing.

WHY is there mention of "Playcheck" and "Cashcheck" on the website, as well as something that is to all intents the "Microgaming bonus system".

If they STEAL their website content from MGS sites, rather than write their own, how can they be trusted with real money. "Playcheck" and "Cashcheck" are subject to copyright, and MUST NOT be used by a non-MGS powered casino.

I may be blind but didnt see any mention of Playcheck or Cashcheck. I saw Playback, but MG doesnt have monopoly on game history.
And the bonus system, different weightings for games arent exclusive to MG so dont see whats wrong there.

And no, I wouldnt play there.

Ya makes sense, My $450.00 free chip winnings have been processed today so im sure I will be paid. I dont know much about this site besides they hit for me more than these other casinos and even their comp points are better than these rtg casinos. At the capital it takes $10.00 wagered to gain 1 point and 100 points only gives you $1.00 (wow lol) at the mandarin palace same wager rules but 100 points = $10.00 250 points = $30.00 500 points = $75.00 and 1000 points = $200.00. Havent played with real money yet so im not 100% sure but im starting to like these guys. SPLIT EM has played with real money and so far has not had any problems so only time will tell.

I expect they have started changing the site. When I looked there was so little content that these oddities stood out. They certainly didn't have the Microgaming banner, but had the guide to Playcheck and Cashcheck as though it has been lifted as a chunk from the site of an MGS casino.
Another poster thought they were related to Spin Palace, so there was certainly an element of that "MGS Feel" about it.

As for the bonus weightings, it was the LAYOUT of that section, not just the fact of game weightings, it was just "so MGS".

Because of the previous efforts of Ministering Angel, and Roccos, I am VERY suspicious of this site, mainly because of what ISN'T there, rather than what IS.

Ministering Angel even had Neteller fooled, who were promoting them in their "showcase" till someone tipped them off that they were a front for an Eastern Eurpean "Phishing" scam, and had "ripped-off" the company who designed that unsettling "Ministering Angel".
Now that these "gangs" are into fake casino sites, we have to be very careful with any new casino site that pops up with "unique" software, even more so when said software seems a little "funkified".

There seems to be a theme of winning big from the free chip, getting paid a small amount, and then being told they can have the rest in 100% match bonuses.

MGS run these free play promos, but limit "winnings" to as little as $100. THIS lot are more than happy to offer back the over limit amount of $7500 to one player as a series of 100% match bonuses, and the PLAYER gets to pick when they take them.

Even playing the free chip can be a problem, since they have your personal details. This may well be worth the $100 or so they have to pay out to winners.

If they are legit, they can always have a rep register here, and argue their case.

Most likely, they are probably aware of this thread.

Whats easier than to copypaste and then edit? If they just would do it before they launch it would save them some embarrassment.

Well, Playshare did the same with Quatro casino, but at least with it being MGS there is an element of trust. This one has not just messed up the launch, but offers no evidence so far of credibility. If it were powered by a known software brand, this could at least help form some kind of first impression. If it were indeed MGS, I would have considered them probably trustworthy long term, but just a bit inept at the launch. They are not licensed in a particularly "trustworthy" jurisdiction either (when it comes to looking after players), an EU license would have given them far more credibility, mainly because it would be a serious embarrassment to the EU if one of it's member states was fooled into granting a gaming license to a fake casino. There is no guarantee they even have the license they claim. I recall one rogue was claiming an Alderney license, when they had no such thing. They are STILL in business, and spamming me regularly.

Malta and they licensing medialive casinos like ubwinner (rigged software) says everything about credibility of an EU license.

Add another point for mandarin palace.

A few minutes ago I received a call from the palace, I was greeted by a friendly and professional man who told me thanks for playing at the casino and my check of $450.00 was processed and sent today - the $30 check fee. It should arrive in 5-7 days via fed ex. He congratulated me and told me to get something nice for myself. He wanted to know if I enjoyed the casino and didn't even ask about a return. This casino seems legit to me and have treated me alot better than most! They paid out $420.00 for a free chip and have great customer service. All casinos had to start somewhere, Like spin palace who paid thousands no ?'s asked. Spin palace at first looked fake but turned out to be great. I'm not telling you to go there and make a deposit today, I'm telling you that for no money out of pocket I won and see nothing wrong at all with this establishment. Make your own decision but I have nothing but good things to say about this place so far. I've spent $420.00 on some casinos mentioned here on this site a day and won nothing. Thats a start. I will let you know when i get my check. Lets give them time and a chance b4 doubting them. Where is the casino meister and what does he have to say about this site?
