Has anyone heard of/read anything about The Mandarin Palace?

where do you play? have you won more than you spent?

Well, Playshare did the same with Quatro casino, but at least with it being MGS there is an element of trust. This one has not just messed up the launch, but offers no evidence so far of credibility. If it were powered by a known software brand, this could at least help form some kind of first impression. If it were indeed MGS, I would have considered them probably trustworthy long term, but just a bit inept at the launch. They are not licensed in a particularly "trustworthy" jurisdiction either (when it comes to looking after players), an EU license would have given them far more credibility, mainly because it would be a serious embarrassment to the EU if one of it's member states was fooled into granting a gaming license to a fake casino. There is no guarantee they even have the license they claim. I recall one rogue was claiming an Alderney license, when they had no such thing. They are STILL in business, and spamming me regularly.

All online casinos I view as a scam until I see winnings and payouts, At least the real WALK-IN casinos are state regulated and have a little law over payouts. I have been around the block a few times; Intertops, spinpalace.goldenpalce (lol).RUSHMORE,JACKPOT CAPITAL,CLUB WORLD,sloto-cash,all slots, cool cats (lol),silver dollar, harbor etc etc some are to old to remember. People think they are not being ripped off at online casinos meaning "hey I put in $200.00 a month ago and lost but they never stole my money they only charged $200.00" Wrong, these casinos per pull take in a set profit before paying out. Thats all I have to say! for example, take in $1000.00 pay out $100.00. if you are lucky. When I get paid by the palace I will deposit lol. Maybe win for once! !

Got it ;)

Well, since my original post, I kept reversing my withdrawal, playing, and then cashing in again. I'm way up, so I'm done with this round till I actually see that I get paid. It's been 24 hours now, so just 24 more to go, until they process it (though, I assume it will wait until Monday).

Before my last withdrawal, I placed a $30 bet (Black Jack) and won, so I chose the check by courier (FedEx is who they use) for $30. In my opinion, charging anything is ridiculous. Also, something else that bothers me is that they won't flush a cashin. Spin Palace used to flush them immediately upon request and funds would arrive in my back account within a couple days. I too miss Spin Palace very very much.

They processed my check yesterday and even called me to let me know very nicely. The check came today!lol overnight! Now thats fast! The check is 100% legit and It came from Canada but in US funds. Some people are doubting these guys but I see no problems. You should get yours soon.

That's awesome! Congrats on the free money!!
Since that last post, I've kept playing HA
Just submitted my cashin, again (I keep reversing it all, then make one withdraw request so I don't have to pay for for 2, or more, checks. I've made a nice little profit and I'm now feeling more secure that I'll get paid, thanks to you! Sounds like they're really trying to make an effort, as far as customer service, that's promising too. I wish they would contact The Meister!

And vinylweatherman, you had mentioned that a poster thought this casino was somehow related to SpinPalace... I think you got that from my original post. But I was just stating that I haven't played since SpinPalace closed my account and this was my first venture back into online gaming.

They are beginning to look legit then. Promising payment and actually MAKING it is what makes the difference. Many rogue casinos make promises, even in polite phone calls, but sticking to them is what matters.

The lack of information and substance on their site may be because they are narrowly targeting the US market, and do not want to get busted too quickly. They would be unable to do this from any EU jurisdiction.

Malta and they licensing medialive casinos like ubwinner (rigged software) says everything about credibility of an EU license.

Malta have already embarrassed themselves, and are bringing the EU into disrepute among the player community. Malta are on the UK whitelist because EU trade rules say they have to be, NOT because the have applied to the UK Gambling commission, been vetted, and passed.
Malta are also closely resembling the Costa Rican model of allowing casinos to operate for months under a COMPANY license, and a "letter of intent" from the LGA - this means they are taking REAL money BEFORE they have passed all the fitness to operate test (assuming Malta have any other than the ability to pay the fee, and prove current solvency:rolleyes:)

The check I will put on hold tomorrow (today lol I'm up late) is from a company in Canada. Has no markings of the casino on it. But looks very legit with tear off perforations to open it. looked into the check site and looks like a merchant, Maybe they use this place to make fast payments to the states. I have never had to deal with a check b4 so we will see but I'm sure it will clear. I also was sent a email for feedback and had alot of good things to say. I told them to make their presence known on Casino Meister as well as there software. I cant say they are the best Yet but so far I'm impressed. seems good for now and i will keep you posted. whats your fav online casino? Thanks again for the advice

Perhaps this discussion belongs in the ATB forum section;)

To date I haven't received the promised "surprise" in my snail mail. Congratulations Jeff311. Can you tell us what some of the slots are, perhaps someone can then figure out what software they are using? Thanks!

So, I'll admit, I started to get a little nervous that maybe Jeff311 worked for this casino and that I wouldn't be paid.

So I cashed in, waited the 48 hours and then my funds were processed on Monday. I too received a phone call congratulating me and letting me know that my funds were on their way. So far so good!

Got my check today, opened it, and it was about half of what they owed me. So I called up, and was greeted by the same person that I've chatted with through their support chat. He let me know that the maximum amount that they could send in one check was $5000, and my other $5000 would be arriving in as a separate check. He's going to send tracking info shortly I think.

So, it appears that this place is legit, I think. I'm not going to promote them, and will recommend that you approach them with caution. But my experience has been awesome so far. Guess it helps that I won a lot though.

I finally got my "special" package in the mail. It's the CD with a bonus code. When I went to claim it they said I already claimed it.

So, initially I signed up with them, claimed a $50 nd bonus because they had sent me an email telling me I was "chosen" for the bonus. Btw...there was no code for it, just had to ask live chat.

Then a week or so later they tell me I'm receiving the special package.

Why would they bother sending it to me if it's the same nd bonus? I find that irritating.

I don't have any problem with them allowing me only one bonus. But the letter didn't say anything about it being a first time nd bonus only.

Not bitching, really. I just hate when casinos don't check that a player has already taken a bonus and then get you excited about another freebie.

It's usually the same bonus, but marketed differently. Some players will take the bait from the email, but this could be lost in spam filters, or ignored. Following up with a snail mail CD & code might catch a few more players, but can also be confusing for those who think they have been granted two separate offers.

Still, you have another coaster for your drink, or even a frizbee:D

My Mum once asked me to turn out my desk and give her my casino CD's for use as bird scarers in her garden:D

Did they scare away the birds???:D Have been looking for a good way to put these useless things to work (trying to save the environment, etc.)
Maybe we should start a thread on thrifty ways to use the CDs sent out in the snail mail.

Nice man nice!

Crap, you won big bro. My check cleared and I bought a new toy. Gsg-5p  and no I dont work for them lol. I spent $20.00 and lost and would spend more but I have some other things to take care of. Good job man! I'll trade you lol

Casino

I chatted with them this morning trying to find out when they go public for players. I get the same old," your account is under review message". They said they have no clue. They will let me know by email. I'll be glad when they do.

While surfing here I came across this thread, read it and watch then their homepage, especially their T+C's. It seems to be legit, because they keep their promises and made prompt payouts, but like vinylweatherman already said: Alarm bells should be ringing!!!!!!!

In association with some of the phrases in the e-mail the OP got I found a funny point in their T+C:
The Mandarin Palace Casino (and any affiliated casinos or other entities that may be launched subsequently) will not be liable, and is not liable for any damages in the following scenarios:
...
For any loss as a result of any act of God. (Earthquakes, floods, lightning etc.)
...

I never ever read about such a weird term (I still love it) on any other casino (maybe I'm wrong, please correct me). I think thus offering completely new ways for the casino. If you have a complaint (e.g. software error) they could say: Oh, that is God's will, sorry.

Just a thougt, don't hit me.
I still reflect on this "change of luck forever". :eek2:

This thread makes the hairs on the back of my neck ( not grey by any means, lol) stand up.

Anyone with over 100 post's win and cash there?

I received the CD, but promptly threw it in the trash. I play at a few reputable casinos and figure I don't need this one. The things I have been reading aren't too reassuring, IMO. Perhaps, when they have been around for a while I may change my mind and try them out.

So I also received the offer. I lost the 50 welcome bonus in like 10 spins man but hey it's seems like a cool new casino... so I clicked the help icon and a chat window appeared.

Spoke to a guy named Ben and he was great. Honestly he actually helped me and answered my questions! Unlike my previous experience with chat :) no really he did tell me a few things about the place.

When I asked about the software (who developed it) he stated they have developed the software. Then he said we are not affiliated with any other online casinos.

So that raised a ? for me. I asked how did you get my mailing address then? He said he doesn't know about that but would query the marketing dept about how they got my info for me and let me know within 48 hours via email how. So we will see on that.

I then asked how long they been up and running. He told me since February they opened the Casino but the "back office" has been running for 7 years now.

So i will check it out going to do a test deposit. If i lose it as fast as the Welcome bonus I am gone of course but after reading some of the posts here some people are doing well...

Like the interface so far its flash. My laptop is beefy though so it runs great for me. Loads much faster than typical MGS slots for sure. Easy to use and simple...

Will let you all know how the first deposit goes :)

Cheers,

Helric

PS. Forgot to say Hello to everyone :) my first post been trolling for a while though :)

Will let you all know how the first deposit goes :)

Cheers,

Ok so like I said I would update on my initial deposit..... Its not good :(

So I deposited 100$ since they had a 100% match deal going... got $200 to play with yeah! Lost that in about 10 minutes tops... I wasn't even playing huge spins here i'm talking max of $3.75 spins here which for this particular slot i had been playing was the min bet! Lost it... :(

Well then I received an email today offering more match bonuses... *dam :( I gotta get that match of 100% up to $200 so of course like a fool deposit another $200 bucks now I have $400 to play with including the match wooohoo! Right? Wrong. I purchased at 5:43 by 6:15 it was all gone again not more than 3.75 a spin!!! Curse this place I thought well like a fool another $100 deposit + $50 match making it $150. I will show them who is boss :)

Not at all really but wait here comes the interesting part! So I am playing and losing as usual this time on a slot called "Purse of the Mummy" clever huh Purse/Curse wow... clever....

Sorry here's the strange thing and please tell me if I am reading this wrong or what but to me this is how I read this payline info stated in the screen shot attached. (Sorry cant figure out how to paste the images so attached them.

All wins pay LEFT to Right, except scatter and bonus which pay ANY. (I think I understand this)

The under the scarab thingy...

Scarab bonus
3 Scarab symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 on any selected payline starts the Scarab Sprint bonus.

See screen shot attached

I got 3 scarabs... nothing happened..... What the hell? Clicked help... chat window appears...

So I explain to him I just got 3 Scarabs and the bonus didn't activate? He asked me a lot of questions like whats reels were they on... 1,3,5 ok.... lines... i said 1 was on line 2, 3+5 were on line 1. He said "Oh well you go you can only win the bonus from lines 6 or 8. I said excuse me what are you talking about? According to the pay info it says "ANY" every where right? He says hmmm yes you are correct I will have to submit this to tech team and let you know but you should receive a reimbursement. I had to send screen shots and all to this guy all for 75 cents!!! And no bonus....

So I just wanted to let you all know about my experience at this place. I won't be making any more deposits but I am cheering the people who are withdrawing becuase the most I won the entire time was 14 dollars... i deposited 400 man :(

So let me know if I am crazy or what but thats the way I read it and expected to be playing that bonus :( For some odd reason though I still want to give this place another try but I will not...

Sorry for the long POST!!! Tried to minimize....

Cheers,

Helric

I received the mail and played the 50. I played low because I wanted to get a good feel. I played a very long time. I chatted and the playthrough is 40x on the 50. Video poker only accounting for 10% but at least you can play. Also, video poker has a one cent min so you can play for 5 cents to bet all. Never seen such a thing lol. But you can make your money go far.

No QT, no affiliate program.

Jury is still out but so far so good after seeing cash outs.

So that raised a ? for me. I asked how did you get my mailing address then? He said he doesn't know about that but would query the marketing dept about how they got my info for me and let me know within 48 hours via email how. So we will see on that.

Any answer on this?

I received the CD today in the mail and decided to seach and came across these posts.

i really dont get this. Went to their page and contacted chat and was told that they only allow people and not all people from the states.. Thats a first *haha*

Got the CD.... but I'm still extremely leary of downloading and registering at a total unknown... Have no idea what the software is, or who runs it... They may even have sent me an email but I've not seen it because it would probably have gone straight to Junk or Trash...

As VWM mentioned, after the Ministering Angel and Rocco fiascos, I'd rather have at least some vague idea of who is going to know all my personal info before I hand it all over to them on a silver platter.

And if they are 'reviewing' people who sign up... where are they getting the info to 'review'? Where did they get our names and mailing addresses?
