Casinos take actions that are completly counter productive i never understood who is behind these decisions. So many moves create an instant benefit that hurts them 10 times more in the longer run which forces them to have to push even more and a spiral of "death" where it's how industries die out. For example, me. When slots, few years ago, were mostly all on high rtp with casinos using a slightly lower rtp offering lots of freebies that compensate some it would be lots of fun then when i'd rip i usually knew i just needed to find an extra 100-200$ to pay the casino edge and get kicked back up again so everytime i would rip i'd manage to work extra, do side stuff to get back in the action. But since they crashed the rtp's and cut the promotions when i rip i don't need 100-200$ to get back in, i need 1000-2000$ which just made me give up. I stopped all my side incomes, stopped working to get extra funds. I just rip what i have and when im done im done. So even if they get a bigger % out of my wagers, the overall amount im losing now is alot lower than it was on high rtp... They are just losing. Not to mention the astonishing number of players that quit because they are going bankrupt or just can't stand it anymore.
Like if a restaurant has issues and is going down, if they decide to cut portions and increase price to make it... they just sign their death as if they already had trouble gathering customers as it was, with smaller portions and bigger prices they will have even less customers and rip. That's why in that spot if a owner wants to save his company he has to go all in. Take all the money he got left and boost promotions, increase rtp and hope it attracts enough players to save the business. Cutting rtp and promotions more and more means just a slow painful guaranteed death and lots of bankrupted players. The problem is not the players, it's the industry. You won't fix the problem by hitting the players as the problem comes from the inside. Too many people trying to get a cut of the pie. Affiliates, providers, banks and whatever i forget. They all take way too much for what they really provide. It creates a stupid crazy pressure over the casinos that have to scam all over the try and make it to the next month. The whole industry needs to reconstruct itself. It's not normal that affiliates get 25-50% of the profits... It's not normal that providers that make really simple animations gets billions of dollars. Everyone is just too greedy in the business, that's the whole problem.
If each parts agreed to cut their share it would release pressure on casinos that could increase rtp again and give better promotions which would attract players back. Make them happy, make them want to work more, get more money to put in the slots that are so fun to play which, long term, would make everyone richer and happier. Families like walmart family became insanely rich by the hundreds of billions making pennies profits per sale... but by making only pennies per sale they now sell the whole world. That's how you do it. Of course, it's easier said than done but that,s the reality. We, the players, are attacked by the casinos, fakked around non-stop like we are the problem, like we are the greedy players that want so many wins while in reality it's the industry eating way too much of the money and create the entire problem. But by experience with all the people i talked to from the industry, i don't expect any changes anytime soon. I just expect them all to run straight into the concrete wall at full speed.
