When I was going through all the hassle at Grosvenor Casino (another thread), one of the guys I was speaking to at my CC company told me about Gala Casino, although his game of choice is Blackjack, and I am a Slot Addict.

I decided to give it a go, and played for a while in fun mode, which is really painful as after every 5 spins a message interrupts the game, asking if you wish to play in REAL mode or not. I did query this with Support, but it is a 'feature' of the coding, and cannot be switched off, although you can get around it by using autoplay. :)

Anyway, I decided to take the plunge and trust them with some of my hard-earned money, and after a little while I got lucky.

Now for the shill part... ;)

I made the request for a withdrawal of over 700 about 22:00 on the 16th August, and when I looked at my bank account this morning, there it was!
Just over 24 hours later.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you, Gala Casino. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I lurve you....:D

And just as brilliant, once you make a withdrawal, you can't reverse it. At least, I couldn't find the switch, and if anyone out there knows how to....please don't tell me...

So muchos kudos to Gala Casino on 2 fronts....no reverse of withdrawals, and superfast payments back to my Debit card. :notworthy:notworthy

Which begs the question - why do other Casinos insist that the processing period takes upwards of 4+ days?

I would recommend giving these slots a go. They are very good fun, as the graphics are very good (IMO), although the payouts depend on the bonuses being hit, as they are effectively bonus-based games. The best hit I got was 30x against a bet of 1.80. But enough of these enabled me to take my bankroll from my starting point of 100 to over 300, when I raised my stake to 45, hit a bonus of X16, at which point I called it a night.

Just the final thought for the day regarding these slots. I have found, during my P4F and real play sessions, that if you start with low rolling, give it a reasonable shot, and then occasionally raise your stake to a much higher amount just for 1 spin, the bonuses almost always appear during the higher spin.

Just my findings....based on observation and practice, as I am also waiting on another withdrawal based on this...which I fully expect to find in my bank account on Monday morning... :)

Gala stalling on paying out on a Promo

And....for the sake of balance....they ran a St.Patrick's day promotion (double your winnings on Green (0 in roulette), where under their terms for it - they gave themselves 6 days to credit your account any bonus from it (the 24th of March) - which I was very much looking forward to, as hit it 5 times in my 1st 40 spins.... and yet here we are now at the end of March, and they keep saying they have been too busy to even look into it, blaming the Easter Break - like it was unforeseen .

I know from browsing other forums that I'm not alone here & many people get the distinct impression that Gala wasn't happy with the results & are looking for an out with as many accounts as possible.

This is a multi-billion company...no doubt the Gala casino-manager's cost centre won't even appear as a speck of sand at the CEO's meeting - just honour it please now, before it gets more public & damages the company's rep & promise your immediate superior you'll be more careful next time.

I can't think of any other major bookie/casino here in the UK whom has dithered & made excuses for so long about a promo - can you?

This promo would be +EV would it not, so how did a multi-million pound company make such a cock-up, for roulette, the maths isn't that hard. Double winnings pays 70x instead of 35x, and their are only 37 numbers on a European roulette wheel, and even the extra zero on an American wheel makes no difference. Simply betting constantly on zero each spin is a money maker, and any player with any brains would have managed to get the maximum payout from this promo.

If Gala are regulated here in the UK, a complaint can be made to the Gambling Commission, as an important part of the Gambling Act is often overlooked, Gambling debts are NOW ENFORCEABLE IN CIVIL LAW, and a claim can be made before the courts (this works both ways though - a bookie can pursue a losing bet if the punter does not pay or charges back).

Gala are and have been the lousiest incompentant organization since they bought the Bingo halls off Bass. Their only motivation from day one when they sacked a load of staff was to increase the share value of the company and sell out which they have done more than once. The customer is treated as an inconvienence which has to be put up with. If the same mentality is being applied to the online business dont expect anything approaching decent customer service.

I'm sorry Loganberry, did you say you were discussing online gambling with your Credit Card company?????? I take it you're not in the US???

Having such a promo itself wasn't a cock-up I'd say....on Valentine's day Betfred did the exact same thing...and the Redlounge group do a very similar promo regularily - where I reckon they have screwed up & are stalling now (still not been paid) - is in giving the max. bonus as 250 a day - so upto 500 can be claimed, as was a 2-day promo. The other casinos mentioned set the max. as 50.

I've been a regular here for years...no doubt several times have lost that much, and more, in a session or a bad month - is annoying when they suddenly do this to me, because no doubt others jumped on the bandwagon - blokes with 20 accounts in Israel etc. What worries me is have read elsewhere of someone being denied the bonus, just because they also had a Coral account. I've had a coral account also for years - and have mentioned this numerous times in my emails with both Gala & Coral, making a point each time to explain & distinguish which account I had a problem with...should have saved these messages to prove was allowed, if becomes an issue - but the internal messaging system makes it difficult. Had just once I been advised this was not allowed, could see it anywhere on their site - or been mentioned in one of the thousands of emails to me, then I would have asked for one of them to be closed down....but they haven't & they're completely different types of casinos....does it actually say anywhere about this? I can't find it.

I also took part in the St Patrick's Day promo, hit 0 multiple times, and haven't seen any bonus. They're ignoring my emails, they can't even be bothered saying that they're "busy".
