Freaky Vegas shutting down owes me money

Trust me, I've been down a very difficult path, but this isn't me complaining of losses, this is me looking for help.

I think my next port of call is the UKGC?
Well Bryan has already said they are not communicating with CM so that rules out effectively a PAB here. So yes, I thing eCOGRA is your next port of call. The UKGC don't directly deal with player complaints BUT you can report a casino for any suspected license breaches, or general problems. So I'd personally follow those paths.
Sorry to be brutally straight but Tirilej is correct; the rent issue is down to gambling and the situation would have been exactly the same for you if you had lost, which was a distinct possibility at the outset!
Anyway, regardless of the RG side, you deserve your winnings so check out eCOGRA. You would normally be expected to attempt to resolve it first with the casino, but if the site has vanished then eCOGRA would presumably accept an immediate dispute.

Great, thank you.

Regarding the rent, it's a side issue, I could cover it but hadn't banked on losing £1,600 (I spent differently). Apologies, I opened the side issue up in the first place, I just couldn't believe the timing and situation.

Don't worry about it, you really don't need this sh*t at Christmas and trust me there are more than a few people on here who have taken similar risks.
Like I said, get on to eGOGRA as soon as. That's all you can really do for now, unless the three wise men suddenly turn up at Freaky Vegas bearing the gifts of frankness, fairness and faith instead of rogueness, robbery and reticence.

Ha, thanks.

I've raised a ticket but interestingly they weren't listed on their site.

Praying the money shows up next week but realistically preparing for the worst here.

Glad I closed my account with them within about 15 minutes of opening it, still waiting for @Lucas to reply to my posts from the time. Dodgy as anything, @Lucas you will never be trusted again in this industry by anyone affected by you stealing from them, hope it was worth it. Regardless of if something has happened to Lucas, someone else should be replying, absolutely no excuse for any of this.

Just uploaded the new holding page I've seen today. There are two different companies mentioned? Not sure what's going on but have contacted UKGC, MGA, ECogra and their tech provider, FSBT

Didnt seem like they wanted my money even a few months back. Couldnt play from registration since was automatically asked to verify my ID so account Insta locked and none accessible. Sent it in at a later date, then gave it 2 weeks from uploading to email before contacting chat, who said they hadn't got round to doing it yet. Gave it another week before contacting lucas, and then it was done the following day. Assume lucas pushed it through but hate to think how much longer it might have took had i not contacted him here.

Looks like I'm screwed then.

Not sure if I'm allowed to mention amounts but I have pending £1,670 with them.

Anyone know how to make £400 to pay your rent? Not sure they will understand or believe a casino going bust is why you're short. I could show them my bank statement but again...

Beyond funny.

You'll get very little sympathy from this forum for gambling your rent money... If you needed it to get through Xmas, why on earth would you be depositing it in the first place.

However as Dunover says, you will get empathy with not being paid your dues. Unfortunately I'm not sure you have much to go on other than trying through UKGC...

I think he said he spent it after the win in anticipation of being paid?

Correct but let's focus on the problem in hand. Bashing me or offering sympathy doesn't tackle the issue

I find the switch in companies, interesting. They are totally unresponsive at the minute but there is a point where they have to become accountable.

OK, there are two licenses, not unusual with the UKGC being separate to the MGA .com side.

Your beef is with the licensee, FSB as the UKGC license holder. You would need to raise the complaint against FSB and then name the specific casino in the complaint subsequently. The licence holder is responsible for any White Labels.

Thanks, that's really useful. FSB are a stellar company by the looks of it, so I have some faith here.

Update

FSB have been in touch with me, offering their sincere apologies, and have confirmed my withdrawals have been processed.

A representative has confirmed the current/previous operator of Freaky Vegas has ceased trading. Despite FSB requesting certain information be made available to account holders, the former operator neglected to do so.

Furthermore, they assure me that all player accounts are safe guarded and there is a process in place to access them.

I will update again once I receive the money into my account, as I feel this is fair.

Merry Christmas. Lesson learned. Christmas miracle.

Thanks for your help - good to be supported when things get tricky!

Thats excellent from FSB, especially on a Christmas Eve.

Hopefully everyone blacklists anything Lucas is involved with in the future seeing as they couldn't even be arsed to email customers telling them.

Yes, I thought that may have been the case. Affiliates can wave goodbye to any payments then - Oh! of course, there were no payments because the shysters never tracked them.

Glad you've been sorted BUT really customers shouldn't have to come to a blank site where there's money involved.
The license holder should put a message up on the domain with instructions for contact and retrieval of monies.

So it appears FSB have been not a little effed-over by the people behind FV too.

The license holder may not have access to the domain, sadly. But if they do, they should. If nothing else, it looks good on them, and they can cross-sell other brands.
