Been gambling less and less last few years. But every once in a while i play.
Been playing allot of feature buy games latley.
Yesterday i lost about 600 euros on DOA2 minimum stake feature buy. What i noticed was it tends to give back about 10% og buy value or less. In 57 buys i had a «win» 3 times.
Lost another 550 on mental feature buys also on minimum stake. Here also it seams max win is double the stake. Seriously it seams these feature buy slots are running at 20-30% RTP. What happened to slotting???

it really is time to throw in the towel as it seams totally impossible to win at all anymore.

TBH i dont think you could have picked any worse feature buys than those two tbh, there are far better FB games out there that are a little more enjoyable, but you have to play them all with caution. As im UK i can no longer dabble in them but i did like Extra chilli, and white rabbit FB's.

Won't lie, White Rabbit's feature-buy was an excellent implementation and actually reasonably priced, often yielding the same or above what it cost to purchase. It's also one of the greatest bonuses in slotting once it gets cracking, so putting aside a gambling budget just to reel off the BBs was something I'd happily do.

And yes, I do believe the flip-side is that the base game was made attritional on purpose and oh-so boring. And whilst that may have been debatable back when White Rabbit was made, today's feature-buy-ridden 'games' don't even make any bones about it any more.

Their base games exist purely to drive you to the edge of despair and long for sweet release in the form of 'several' feature buys. Prove me wrong 💰

You have to look at bonus buys as simply providing the bonus you would likely have got after having spent the equivalent in base-game spins. Some bonuses are shit; you might've sat and played for hours without a bonus, to see it finally drop in and be paid 10x. Same with a bonus buy - you pay 500x stake (or whatever), to be rewarded with a 10x bonus. The difference is you don't get the natural churn and base game hits.

They're high risk, low reward. If they weren't, they wouldn't exist. And almost certainly why they got banned here. They trick you into thinking you're going to make money from gambling, when you're clearly not.

...it's also why I like Pragmatic's "pay a bit extra to double your chances of hitting the feature"; I'm not sure if I've noticed in real terms any significant difference, but 20% more per stake is a risk worth taking, whereas 1000% on a stake is not.

But this is another example of companies vague way of presenting supposed value. Whilst I don’t doubt the extra 20% does double your chance. What is it doubling from? What is the standard chance of landing a bonus? It’s another example of a player only being given the headline advantage of giving over more money quickly without the full picture. Sums up the industry as a whole at the moment though.

The other thing that should be asked is if the “double your chance of bonus” thing is similar to “pay 20% premium” to get a game we should have released as standard.
