Back in October I played some rounds of Live Blackjack at a casino running evolution gaming software. On 3 October one round I was playing 3 seats, $100/seat. The option to hit didn't come up on my 11 on my first seat, the timer counted down and I was auto stood. The next card out was a 10, and the dealer turned his hard 13, (10 showing) into 21, winning all 3 hands.

I complained about this to the casino but evolution stated outright I was lying and that there was an option to hit, there were absolutely no problems on their end, end of story. I went back and forth with my casino a few times but against the word of evolution I unsurprisingly didn't get anywhere.

On 6 October, 3 days later the same thing happened, 3 seats $50/seat I was not given an option to hit on my first seat, my 10 stood, next card out was a 9, dealer had 17, (10 showing), I again lost all 3 seats. This time I took a screenshot, showing there was no choice.

At this point any reasonable company would say "OK our bad , there's clearly a glitch, we'll ask the casino to refund all money paid ($450) or we'll calculate the outcome of both game rounds based on the cards that would have come up. (probably $500-700)

Evolution completely ignored, or gave non-reponse responses any messages from the casino. Eventually, nearly 2 months later they told the casino to refund $50!, (just the stake for the one seat of 6 October, which was already a guaranteed $100 if they'd let me hit, they completely ignored 3 October.) The casino gave me $100 back, but evolution had clearly instructed only $50

After another complaint they still maintained that on the 3 of October I had been given the full range of options and I had chosen not to press anything, despite the fact that it's clearly identical to the glitch that happened 3 days later, I had immediately alerted the dealer and had never changed my version of events.

They have now asked for $100 to be refunded, so I am still $250 down as I spent $450, but the cards I had been dealt were looking good, if evolution hadn't glitched I would probably have made a profit as ?I would have made 21 on my first $100, the dealer would have probably not made 21, possibly busting for $600. I would make $100 on my first $50 bet and the distribution of cards would probably mean no bust for my other $50 bets. I expect I would have made at least $500 ($50 net profit), possibly more.

TLDR: Evolution create glitches, deny them and blame the player, talking to them is like hitting your head against the wall, and eventually they suggest refunds that are far too low.

Sounds pretty familiar, except I only played roulette with them.

Not that long ago, I spent a solid hour and a half waiting for the ball to land on the zero area (12 35 3 26 0 32 15 19). Not once did it hit any of those numbers.
Then it suddenly falls on those numbers SEVEN TIMES in a row. Each of those rounds, my bet gets rejected because of "connectivity issues".
The following three numbers were non-zero area numbers, and my bets suddenly went through just fine.
Then, the ball falls on the winning numbers ANOTHER SIX TIMES. And again, every single one of these bets gets rejected.

I checked my network monitor. There were no glitches in my connection.

    Evolution can't be trusted.

I've experienced glitches and not only with Evolution Live games but all live games. Some providers are worse than others.

The only part of the connection that the providers have some element of control over is from their location to their local ISP.

From there the signal gets bounced around all sorts of routers, hubs, switches, ISP's and other devices before getting to your ISP and then to your device.

Evolution and all the others can only really monitor connectivity their end. To monitor everyone would require probes installed at every hop between you and them. That's never going to happen.

To guarantee the connection you need to have a peer to peer connection direct to them, that way it can be monitored and controlled. Again very unlikely to happen unless you have a shit ton of money.

Connecting over the internet as we all do carries no guarantees, and the providers quite rightly can't be held responsible for what is outside of their control.

Now, they do build in latency to their products to allow for normal deviations of signals, but anything outside of that will probably manifest itself as some sort of freeze.

I would like to see the providers do more and build some better intelligence into the games, so if they don't get a returned signal it plays the hand to standard strategy (in Blackjack for example), rather than standing. That would help alleviate some of the issues.

Regarding the money. It's not Evolution's and shouldn't be their decision to say whether to pay the money back to the player. It's the casino that makes the decision, it's their money, it's in their account. They have the power to do the right thing if a player experiences problems. But in the same vain, if it's not the outward feed causing a problem, why should they foot the bill for an issue elsewhere.

I do sympathise with the OP, but there are no guarantees when you play over the Internet that the connection will remain constant. That's true of any product you use, like live streaming, downloads etc.

If you can't face this reality then you shouldn't play live games online. Remember, it was only a few years ago that Live Games were almost unplayable online. Broadband has made things better but it's not the cure, those same issues are still there but are covered up more and are less frequent thanks to progress with technology.

seen loads of this over time again something smells online , i get a black screen for a second & i tend 99% of the time to lose when this happens its almost like these glitches are to stop you winning & is in fact controlled by the servers running them , no different from the slots , i have been told that the servers dont know whos playing but ive come to my own conclusions about this now as your ip can be traced via online & it must send a signal from via the player/casino this shows it can be done & i would think its not so much the casinos but the servers which know everything about every single player , im recording my live game sessions now to show this so i havnt got to be fed bullshit from the casinos about bad connection or a glitch or its your browser , clean it etc etc etc

It may not be Evolution's money, but the casino was understandably following Evolution's lead and it is Evolution's attitude that stinks throughout this saga. Glitches happen, but admit and acknowledge them. Don't stick your fingers in your ears and accuse the player of lying.

Imagine on a large scale how many $ these tactics make a profit.

I see this with slots. Sometimes just a blank freeze, the slot spins untill eternity and it ends up with a dead spin. The dead spin ofcourse, in the favour of the casino.

My problem with online and esp copied slots such as real WMS is that the gameplay is far from the actual slot. On a normal landbased casino i could simply dream which rheel is about to hit. With online it's a complete different game it seems and rheels dont hit as they should.

I wish there would be genuine casino's and not with software, bullshit tactics. We know the odds already the moment we start to play and we shoud'nt be fisted over in return for more profit for the casino. A while ago i burried online gaming in the first place, knowing how stupid some game actually can be.

How many times did people play to just get a bonus and simply fall flat on their bankroll, and when you bet the lowest you'll get your full screen all of a sudden. It has nothing todo with RNG anymore. It's scripted and they know that damn well.

It's scripted in such a way it's actually compliant with the licencing and such, i think there is the real problem. As long as money flows nobody is going to bother. The casino business is corrupt if you ask me.

I understand the losing risk here and i think we all do, but i've seen some weird shit happen in my online adventure, the more i play the more i get disgusting about it. Advertised 95% or higher, RTP is not even close to the real thing.

Put me into a local casino and i'll play profit within the first 30 minutes. Put me online and i'm dropping money every 10 minutes on average. The fundamental problem is the software behind the online slots.

Nobody knows how it actually works, we only know this from a players perspective. It's designed to keep you playing and suck up your money. That's what it is. Online casino's should be burned to the ground.

Oh, and neil referred to connection several times. There was no problem with the connection, this was a 100% glitch caused by Evolution. My connection was fine, the video didn't stutter even slightly and the predecision bets for my other 2 seats came in immediately.

Have you got a video of it happening? If you can get me a video of it happening I have a contact within Evolution who'll be able to look at it and get an investigation performed. I can't promise anything but my contact is the right person to have a look at this sort of thing and he'll provide some sensible feedback.

I've experienced glitches at Evolution, on certain sites, although in my case, I think it was down to bad programming on the part of the casino rather than being Evo's fault, however, when I play on the download software rather than the web interface at Poker Stars, it is as smooth as silk. I certainly recommend using the download casino where available, to avoid Browser, Plug-in or Add-on issues.

Only once or twice my bets were not accepted on Netent Live and almost never on Playtech, except when occasionally, the roulette result-reader sends the result too early and the round is voided.

yeah, I had also a few issues with Evolution that turned out to be the Casinos fault, ie slow response time, so even if the player clicked 'stand' in BJ, the Casino was too slow to send that response to Evolution's servers and the decision wasn't registered in time and bet was cancelled. So nothing to do with Evolution in that particular case

The examination of the game server logs has showed, that customer has placed his bets for the Three Card Poker game on 2017-12-08 at 16:18:08 UTC. When the decision was offered at 16:18:33 UTC was closed at 16:18:46 UTC, since the player pressed Play at 16:18:46 UTC and not within from us given betting time, his decision was not processed.

Casumo sayed that they need to follow Evolution respond. So no money back..

    wtf:confused::mad:
And i pressed straight call.. Evolution start to do what they want.

How they have seen that i pressed call after closing ?
