About a month ago I sent an e-mail to bryan@casinomeister.com and a couple of days later I sent a PM to him also. Nothing pressing, no catastrophes.

Basically I wanted to know if the Meister Meeting had any chance of ever returning to the States (Vegas), and I had some input on the rating of Bovada (no reverse time and they do process on weekends). Like I said, nothing pressing but I thought I would get some kind of response, an auto response, a "hey, thanks, I'll look into that" or even a "go away kid, you bother me" but I got nothing.

I am sure you are very busy with ICE and LAC and vacation, and I'm no longer in the business of demanding a reply (lesson learned) but if you could, maybe as you are going past your computer, just hit the 'auto reply' and that will make me a happy fella and I'll have something to magnet to the fridge (Wahoo! I got a reply from the Casinomeister!).

Anyways, thanks for reading this (I hope) and carry on with the work you do here.

Hi Big John,

Bad timing I guess. I'm usually quite punctual with emails/PMs, but when I'm on the road or overladen with projects, I'm a little slow. :D I have your PM from the 3rd about Bovada (I was on the way to London then), and the day after I returned, I was off for the kids' school break.

A Meister Meeting in Vegas is a possibility for this upcoming fall. I'll have to check this out for a venue and perhaps sponsors as well. :p

Cool, thanks for the response. I also wanted to pick your brain a little about how you moved to Germany. Did you give up your US citizenship? Does you hold a German Citizenship? Dual Citizenship? Are these questions even proper? This stuff will wait, I'm starting to settle in here so I'll be around.

My wife is German - we met when I was stationed there (89-92), and got married after I returned to the states. In 1999, we moved back to Germany to raise a family and I've been here ever since. I'm a US citizen, still file my taxes with the IRS, and I vote in all general elections. No dual citizenship here - I'm just an ex-pat. The beer, food, and standard of living is what keeps me here.

I lived there 3 years. Do they still have those rectangular on-the-wall slots with the 5 spinning cylinders in the little windows, with jokers and amounts on them like 2.40 etc?? Shame about losing the DM, as the 1-mark piece was exactly the same size as the old UK 5p piece, but worth 6x more as many a German cigarette machine found out lol....:D

Oh yeah - those German "fruities"
I've played them a few times during my regular trips across that country, and I have NEVER had the faintest clue what on earth is going on! :eek2:

If anyone knows a website which explains how they work (in English), it would be much appreciated!
