One of the great features of the forums is the ability to send anyone a Private Message (PM) which — surprise! surprise! — initiates a private conversation with them. And we do mean private! Staff can’t see Conversations — unless you invite us in, or Report one — so your business is your business. How can you avail yourself of this incredible feature?
It’s simple really, just find the person’s name somewhere. For instance if you see them in a forum thread:
Or listed on the forums somewhere:
Usually you only need to hover over their name and you’ll get a pop-up that looks like this:
So, yeah, when you see “Send Private Message” you know what to do.
Sometimes — certain contexts — you get one of these instead:
And that’ll take you to a pop-up — like conker’s above — where the “Send Private Message” button awaits your delicate touch.
That’s about it really. Enjoy!
Oh, before returning you to your regular programming, I should mention this: don’t use PMs to spam people! That’ll get you booted to the curb with extreme prejudice. In fact we'll take no small pleasure in doing so because spamming by PM is a BAD thing to do. Forever and always we invite anyone who has received PM spam to Report it to us without hesitation: Report a post. Why would you? Why should you? - Casinomeister Forum .
