*But for the record, it's still a good BTG game, bonuses fairly often and a has decent potential. A good all-rounder, for those tired of being Bonanza-buggered

It is a new version with much sharper HD graphics (as things have moved on in the last 3 years) and new wild animations in the feature. Other than that it's still the same ol' back end, love it or hate. Queen of Riches will be launching shortly with a similar upgrade again, we won't be changing the back end.

Hi BTG,

I played Queen of Riches yesterday for the first time in a couple of months (on the Loto Quebec site). Can you confirm that the gameplay didn't change recently? It seemed to act differently (the reel clone feature with 3 or more identical reels was much rarer than before but base game wins were better). As if the volatility has been toned-down a notch.

Do you regret licensing the Megaways licence BTG did you think the companies you licensed it to would use it to death, I think it is a shame you let it be used so widely, I know it makes you money but on principle you had a unique trademark and this is now overused.
But the blueprint versions are far better as they added extra things to the slots. Which make them far better. Also the RTP is slightly higher on the blueprint slots as well. Just my 2 cents anyway :p

Indeed BTG could have kept it for themselves and added extra features but chose to license them out unless there is more money in licensing than actually making the games.

No regrets at all! innovating the slots business is our purpose. We've now got some great providers on board to help. I'm not sure if you can overuse a trademark as in the slot business if something is truly crap it disappears in a day or two. Ultimately, we the players decide this with our thumbs and index fingers!

For BTG, sharing is caring, our licensees are making some amazing Megaways™ products right now, you really ain't seen nothing yet :) Megaways™ is but a toddler and into its third year and only has 21 live releases (compare that to the overwhelming 10,000 plus 3x5 slots), by the end of this year that will have doubled and the good ones, will break through, just like 3x5 reelers do from time to time.

We're really just excited to see so much creativity around Megaways™ and that creativity is showing no signs of slowing. Our updated version of Dragon Born, which is a little bit special and needed a reboot as it was the first, will be updated across all casinos over the next couple of months.
