I hope it doesn't come to that. I have my cursor ready and waiting over the PAB button though :|.
Have you had experience with a casino shutting down before? Seeing as how they are still allowing new signups/deposits, etc. it's peculiar.
They should NOT be doing this now that they have decided to close. There is a high risk that players joining now, and depositing, will be shut out half way through play, particularly if they take a bonus.
WHY would a player want to join a casino that shuts next week, and WHY does a casino want new players who they KNOW are only going to be there for a week or two?
Hey all! I am pleased to say that Klub8 has indeed paid out the win! I'd like to thank Max D, CM, and the PAB process which I'm sure help put pressure on the casino to pay out.
There were biiiig delays coming from the casino - even with having previously withdrawn from this casino (ID already confirmed.) they asked for an additional notorized passport, two more bills, copies of all credit cards i've ever used there (even after saying they are not required). For the entire month they provided very little information as to what was going on - I was very, very skeptical that I would receive my win!
Big kudos to Max, CM, and Klub8!!
Stalling, giving them time to put together the withdrawal. Once you are verified, you are verified, and it does NOT matter what size the wins are, they were quite happy to TAKE your money on the basis of the first verification procedure, so they should be equally as happy to PAY OUT.
You got paid, BUT with the closure date imminent, and the start of what looked like a long winded stall tactic, it is no wonder this STANK of the casino being unable to pay the full amount, and looking for a way to stall past June 30th, when they could have referred you to "special procedures", or even simply have walked away from any outstanding debts after closing.
Given what happened at TUSK and then Eurolinx, both "top class" Microgaming casinos & poker, and where they DID "walk away" leaving players owed THOUSANDS, the fear of not receiving a pending withdrawal when a casino "goes under" is VERY REAL INDEED.
Take comfort though, in the fact that the ones that just "walk away" tend not to pre-announce closure, it is "business as usual", until one day, they have simply vanished into thin air, and with your money.
